As Woody Allen's latest, "To Rome With Love," heads for the DVD shelf, here's an interview from 1977, when "Annie Hall," the film that many think is Woody's greatest, was in theaters. This interview by Darryle Pollack originally aired on WTVJ's magazine show Montage on April 14, 1977.

I know it's hard to believe now, but there was a time when Woody was considered to be a sex symbol.

He still is to me. Although more of an intellectual sex symbol, that's a whole other level. This is going to sound obnoxious, the young Woody makes me daydream sometimes and want to travel through time and date him. I know it sounds stupid.

Pointless interview. She just wanted to meet Woody Allen.
