I was not expecting you to mention Vieques. Iam homesick now. My dream is to open a flight school in Vieques to help the youth
I once flew a C172 on a checkout from SIG to ABO and I absolutely loved flying over Puerto Rico. One of my best flights yet. Thanks for these amazing videos.
Thank you for sharing you experiences.
man , i literally got goosebumps by seeing your video
Great series Shamir! Appreciate the tutorial on the functions on the yoke.
Great wing view again, you greased that landing! A forward facing cam catching those great landings and departures would be awesome.
Looking forward to more videos and info on the PC 12.
Appreciate the effort put into these videos, great job 👍👍👍.
Thanks for the tips! A forward facing cam is coming soon! I promise!!!
Well done Capt :)! The pilatus seems to be very quiet and comfortable to fly ;)

Awesome awesome job, Shamir. Thanks for providing this sort of meat for us aviation geeks, especially for a boricua out on the states. Miss SJU, my 2nd home in home! Kudos

Excelente videos gracias por compartir.
Thanks a lot for the explanation!! I love flying the PC12 on my sim at home and I always wondered what those buttons do. Love these videos :)
I would love for you to go through your trim settings that you use for a regular PC12 flight, please
Thanks Hugo. Will do soon!
Love your videos keep up the good work
С удовольствием посмотрел👍
Great video, and thanks for showing us the yoke, and the panel, I love that, flying is alot about the numbers, not just the great views, lol.
Glad you enjoyed it! Flying is a great responsibility and pilots need to pay attention inside as well! haha!
Keep'm coming!
Love you videos, keep them coming!
Thanks! Will do!
Very interesting and well produced as usual ;)
Hopping we will go back soon in the sky
Thanks Théo! I hope to be back in the air soon!
Awesome 4 part video series Shamir, really great footage all round. I really enjoyed them. Thanks for the little tech segment on the yoke. How often do you come up to the states with company and to what destinations do you fly? Thanks
Hi Kevin! Glad you enjoyed the content. I usually get based out in White Plains, NY during the summer and fly all over the east coast specially Nantucket and Marthas Vineyard. If I'm doing ferry jobs, then basically anywhere in the US.
Very well done , enjoyed the tutorial on the yoke !
Glad you enjoyed it!
WOW, what update of X-Plane 11 is this? Or maybe early access to Microsoft Flight Sim 2020? P3D? Who knows..? XD
Love the content Shamir! do you have a copy of the PC-12 checklist?
Thanks
Hi Shamir, please explain the pressurization system and how to control it. Nice video
Will do soon! Once I get to fly again, I'll do video on it.
Very good videos! What is the ICS button is for in the yoke?
Great video! keep bring more. 👍
Thanks Igor!
Awesome Video ,Shamir. Love the PC-12. It's so versatile. Always flying the Carenado PC-12 on X-Plane 11. So much fun.
What do you think about the new NGX? Did you already have a chance to fly it?
Can you do a quick tutorial on the cabin pressurization, what to do exactly?
Greetings form south Germany. 👍😀
Hey!!! Glad you liked it. I haven't flown the NGx yet, but its a dream of mine!!! hopefully someday!!! Once I get back to flying, I'll see how I can squeeze a quick video on the pressure system.
M from india love u bro
Thanks for showing the yoke. Where is the rudder trim on a PC-12?
HI Scott. It's my pleasure. There's a rocker switch in the PCL (Power Control Lever) or throttle as many call it, and that's how we control the rudder trim. I didn't think about that when I recorded this video, but it would've been a great addition to the content.
Great video Shamir. Any way of adding a forward facing camera to your setup? Thanks for posting!
Yes, absolutely! Next video in the PC-12 will include forward facing ;-)
Hi Samir!! As usual, amazing videos. I have two questions about the plane... How works the landing gear actuator?? Is it similar to the 737 for example? Do you need to disengage and after that move up or down (to prevent accidental movement)? And the second, what about the reverse in the thottle? you need to move up / down to enter in reverse area?
Hi Carlos. Landing gear lever has to be PULLED and then actuated. Almost like a 737. The Throttle has a little tab that you raise and lets you bring the throttle aft of the idle detent, kind of like an Embraer ERJ series.
Hi from P.R.PU 🇵🇷
Nice flight Capt. May you do a start up procedure for the speed bird?
Thank you sir... Is this what you're looking for? czcams.com/video/LBqS-vQaySo/video.html
@@fersobe Yes!! Perfect Capt. Thank you very much.
Sometimes you use Goodspeed calls and sometimes aircraft registration on the radio. What defines which you use?
Thank you for your content! Do you sometimes use beta during Taxi or just push the brakes when you have to stop or slow down?
- Nick
Hi Nick, most of the time im using beta to slow down and brakes to bring it to a stop.
Have you got any tips for the fellow ATPL exam students, I’m just at the start of my journey on the PPL, looking to complete it within the next couple of months, then straight to ATPL Exams, hour building, IR, NR, CPL, MEP, MCC, JOC, what are some of the best tips to be able to pass the ATPL (A) examinations
Thanks for a great video from a former airline pilot with grandparents from Culebra....an aunt owned the restaurant at runway end.
Side note....What is the largest aircraft you've heard landed in Culebra?
Marc, that's great to hear. I love going to Culebra whenever possible, its just such a unique place to visit. I've seen King Air 200s land there. There's also a SHORTS 360 landing video in youtube. Also, I don't know if this video is online, but a friend showed it to me; a Citation Mustang landed and exited by the terminal taxiway...
@@fersobe kind of u to point out the videos.... Some excellent uploads of Islanders, 172s, and more, flying between the 2 hill tops on final, then making that hard left on short final under 100 feet AGL.....or past my grandparents' house on the right abt 1 DME from TDZ if coming in from the bay/harbor approach
Great video thank you Shamir. How different is the 5 blade from the 4?
Usually in the case of more vs less blades, its about speed and climbing performance at lower altitudes vs fuel economy and higher speed at higher altitudes.
Thanks Max... as @Hartbreak1 said, yes, the 5 Blades gives better departure and climb performance as well as, in my opinion, better short field performance. Around cruise, I find it to be pretty much the same performance as the four blades, but it really shines when you need to get off the ground quicker!
Shamir Fersobe yeah I’m guessing the speed performance of the four blades would only come into play in the high flight levels near the operational ceiling. It would probably be useful only for those that do very long legs and fly high up.
Super like always Shamir... May be we can do one when you fly me out to St. Barth, for my training and certification there!!
I have a great Idea that involves you! I will be reaching out soon! Thanks for following as always, my dear friend.
@@fersobe let me know my friend.. you know I like to be involved in all king of flying crazy, fun and safe stuff..
Hey bro
hey Shamir, do you talk in spanish?
Bank when over Vieques for me on your next video
Wilco! !!!
What was your longest flight ever with the PC12?
