The company Cannon wasn’t bad. They miss handled their finances and the movies they did were really good. Just they rushed through them or they didn’t plan the budgets right so the failure of the company was those who were in charged.
Cannon did really good movies in the 1980s & the early 90s. Very good action movies featuring Chuck Norris & Charles Bronson in the Cannon Movie list.

@harveywittii9323 Masters of the Universe was good. I liked the movie a lot, the cast in the movie, especially Dolph Lundgren & Frank Langella were very good. Unfortunately Superman 4 The Quest For Peace was the worst Superman movie in the Christopher Reeve era. Christopher Reeve was good as Superman again & Gene Hackman was excellent again as Lex Luthor. But the rest of the cast in the movie was disappointing & the movie itself just wasn't up to it. There were some good parts in the movie, but it lacked real excitement. I think Christopher Reeve didn't enjoy doing the movie, & I think he decided he didn't want to do Superman anymore after doing Superman 4. In truth, the Superman sequels should have ended after Superman 3.

John P Ryan played an evil, vicious villain in Avenging Force. And he did it so brilliantly too. He also played evil, vicious villains in Runaway Train, & Death Wish 4 The Crackdown. What an actor he was.
Also great in Futureworld.

William (Bill) Wallace had a big year in acting on Cannon Films in 1986. First he played a heroic American soldier in The Delta Force. Then he played an evil, corrupt murdering Senator in Avenging Force. From hero to villain in consecutive Cannon Films movies. Not bad.
We really captures the screen when he is on.
