I have many friends from Northeast India and trust me they are the most Genuine,kind,humble and helpful person you will ever meet❤. I still remember one day I told my Manipuri friend to Xerox some notes for me and I told him that I will pay him later the next day when I gave him the money he said "If you pay me then I will think that you don't consider me as your friend." I insisted him to take the money and then he just said that "Okk if you really want to pay me then just give me 1 rupees that will be enough for me". We should never be racist towards Northeast Indians we should always feel proud that at the end of the day India is a diverse country and you will find every type of people in our country 🇮🇳 that's what make our country so special and different from other countries 🇮🇳. @@Charvak-Atheist I'm from Assam and I keep hearing about northeastern people facing discrimination when they are in mainland India(as far as I know there are just a few people who do it, most are good I guess), but I'm pretty sure that people are changing slowly and treating us as Indians too, we just want our birthplace to get as much attention and development as the other states of India get and I'm happy to say that we are slowly getting it, and lastly I just wanna say that we love our country India, JAI HIND!!
As a girl from northeast India, I am a proud Indian, dsnt matter u consider us Indian or not by our facial structures but from heart we r proud Indian . I get goosebumps while singing national anthem 😊. Whenever I think of my country I don't think of the government And politics .

As a South Indian girl I can confirm that. But ofcourse there are bad people and bullies, separatists everywhere they are happy by hurting others. @@prateekraj9946 It's a long history bro, Nagas have been fighting for our own freedom since British times. In fact we declared ourselves independence before one day ahead of India . Which was on 14th of August. 1947. But the central govt. did not accept it. People are still fighting for it.
We do have separate custom laws and is a sovereign state. But I don't really think of getting an actual independence.

Our mother India is giving us so much diverse things which we only need to embrace and love it. I don't understand when people fight for our mother India yet hates her diversity.

We are proud as being from Assam. I am proud of its beautifulness. Here pizza and burger are tasty but nothing can match the taste of laru( a laddu made in houses in the occasion of bihu).Here girls look more beautiful when they wear sadar mekhela and the traditional Bihu dress. Assam's people can relate.

It was a very informative video ❤️❤️ I recently came from a trip to Nagaland, Meghalaya and Assam ( only Guwahati). This was my first trip to north east states and I loved the people there, especially in Nagaland! I made so many friends out there.. they were so friendly and helpful, completely opposite to what we, Indians from other states think!

@@Charvak-Atheist if I have to tell you now then I don't think my words can ever describe my emotions on Racism. I haven't received any Racism in person but I felt neglected as whole when it comes to us.
First and for most is about the Looks ,we look like most east asian countries and therefore they think we aren't part of India
And second is our Food ,they always think we eat raw things and many animals. Well TBH we might eat it but not waste it simply like those foods that is seen near Many big big buildings.
There are more things but what I most felt is this.
Well many things aren't developed here as it's supposed to be but people here are happy even within their small community.
Just a minor correction - Northeast too comes under mainland. The island groups aren't a part of mainland as they are far away. When we refer to India with the islands then we say Indian Union and when we refer to India excluding them we say mainland.
