I'm deeply sorry for the oversight in the initial map video where I didn't include Jammu and Kashmir in northern India. I will certainly be more attentive to such details in future map productions.
I want to explain the motivation behind creating this video. I traveled in India for four months and I know it's a diverse place, which is why I particularly love it. Since the primary audience of my channel is Chinese-speaking, I thought exploring the northeastern region of India would be an interesting topic. Presenting this topic visually was also expected to capture the interest and resonate more with my audience. I saw it as an opportunity to help more viewers understand the northeastern part of India.

For people who don't know Taiwan has two ethnic groups 1. aboriginal Taiwanese and 2.Han Chinese. none of the Han Chinese want to show their identity as Chinese but instead, they will call themselves Taiwanese. because the Han Chinese are technically outsiders who conquered the land of Taiwan. Aboriginal Taiwanese are dark-skinned and look more like Indian-Naga than the original Naga people themselves (kidding). So when you meet a Taiwanese next time ask him if he can speak Taiwanese (aboriginal languages like Hakka) or just Mandarin. The McMahon Line was first drafted in 1913, and the treaty to ratify them (Simla Accords) was never signed by the Republic Of China(ROC) who had just overthrown the Qing dynasty. There was no such thing as the McMahon Line in 1890, and China isn't disputing where the Line was drawn, she's disputing the validity of the Line in its entirety. The primary Indian claim is that the ROC did sign the Simla Accords because a British official called Olaf Caroe fabricated a narrative in 1938 where the ROC signed the Simla Accords (they didn't) and ceded parts of Tibet to the Raj.
In 1963 a British diplomat compared a pre-1938 treaties compendium with the post-Caroe compendium and found that Caroe had changed the note on the ROC's not signing the Simla Accords into one where the ROC signed it and considers the Indo-Tibetan border finalised. Nehru picked up a copy of Caroe's fabricated compendium so he got the impression that his country was legally entitled to more than she actually was. Compounding this was the US' decision to add fuel to the flames by declaring the McMahon Line as the legitimate boundary in an attempt to contain the spread of communism, despite reservations from the US State Department and protests from the fiercely non-communist Chiang Kai-Shek, leader of the ROC.
However, we all know Nehru irreversibly altered his country's relations with China in 1962, so by 1963, when the fabrication was discovered, it was already too late to stem the tide of Indian nationalism based on the false compendium entry. And that leaves us with the situation today, in the aftermath of a British attempt to de jure carve out a piece of Chinese territory which failed but had some success de facto, then a British fabrication of her failed attempt to carve out Chinese territory, then an Indian acceptance of the British fabrication alongside American endorsement, and a Chinese refusal to accept the fabrication as anything remotely legal.
Some Indians recognise that they don't actually have a legal claim to South Tibet, so they've begun using a different claim in that the people living in South Tibet want to be part of India more than China; in essence, a claim based on the principle of self-determination. This is India's secondary claim. However, as history has shown time and time again (Catalonia, Confederate States, Taiwan, Corsica, Chechnya, Tibet, Naxalites), without the permission of the larger body, a smaller section of the population will not be allowed to separate from its original country regardless of what they want.
A much more detailed account of the McMahon Line and its history is available here, written by Peter Lee who, contrary to impressions given by his surname, is not at all Chinese.

Aboriginal Taiwanese are dark-skinned and look more like Indian-Naga than the original Naga people themselves (kidding). Thanks for visiting Nagaland, brother! Talking about English, it is our official language. During our childhood days, we would be punished (just for our improvement, not heavy ones) or pay a fine of some rupees for speaking local dialects other than English (on school premises). This is how we learned English, and we are grateful for it. Mostly we use Nagamese as a medium of communication with other tribes of the state. We have 17 major tribes, and each tribe has its own dialect. Even within the same tribe, there are many different dialects, which all of us value. And, regarding the religion we practice, which is Christianity, we are very fortunate and can't be more blessed than that. Lastly, anyone who wants to pay a visit to our place is more than welcome; you won't regret it! Love y'all!

There are two well-known ancient trade routes in China. One is the silk road in the north for trade with middle east and Europe. The other one is called "tea route" or "tea horse route" for trade with India, starting from Yunnan in the south. Most Indian still use the word chai instead of tea because of this trade route. My dear brother, They don't think they're Indians, THEY ARE INDIANS 🇮🇳. That's because, they pay taxes to the same government and they enjoy the same benefits that come with being a citizen of India.
Their race might be different, but they are very much Indians

When it comes to the history of the Nagas and the migration pattern it's quite fascinating. I personally feel, as per my understanding and in my observation, collecting stories, visiting places, we the Nagas doesn't seems to have a common origination of where we came from. There are differences in the dialect, physical features, diet, etc. But the most convincing conclusion on the migration pattern could be from South East Asia. Some Nagas say we are connected to Korean and Japanese but actually we have more similarities with the Burmese, Thai, and the southern region China than the other Asians.

Northeast of South Asia is the Sino-Tibetan group! It is the same ethnic group as Han , Tibetan, Burmese and Qiang in ancient times!Indians deliberately describe you as Mongols. But in fact, nomadic people have no stable ethnic origin. Mongolians are composed of 40% Sino-Tibetan people, 20% old Asian people, 20% North Asian people and 10% Caucasian people.

Tibeto-Burmans from north east India are in no way related to Thai people. Both their language and genetics. Our closest relatives are Burmese of Tibeto-Burman origin, Tibetans and many other groups in China.

Let me add something interesting to think about. Perhaps Nagas didn't migrate from these and that places. Maybe a few of us settled down in the Naga hills during the great human migration and the rest went ahead to different places across East and South East Asia.
