I'm sure it must be a big culture shock going thru the streets of Lagos for the first time. It would be for me, for sure!
for the people who know only westtern world, yes it might be, that 'd true
@@Ludo_Liu I've seen a tiny bit of Asia and Latin America but I think Africa is another level. Have to check it on my own someday.
@@darioshubIndia is Horrible too
@@thebestchannel5456 in Asia I've been to Japan but I believe India is extremely crowded and not very clean. As for Japan, I was amazed by how clean and organized it was.
the chock in India is even stronger cause there poverty is a lot more terrible in many cases
Nice country with good people full of entertainment
Welcome to Nigeria lol
I don't watch Itchy Boots anymore.
However I subscribe, watch, comment & like Ludo Liu
Honest and genuine, he simply triggers the urge to learn more about Africa
thanks so much my dear for these kind words !
I don't feel surprise in fact she didn't gave any news back... it looks like youtube is an individual journey in a jungle where humanity is not the rule...
Thank God for you and your beautiful daughters. I praise you for the courage to drive through in Lagos.
Enjoy your voyage
Thanks so much

Thank you too!
I pass that location almost every week
Those agbero and i always fight regularly because I don’t use to give them any money
But i finally put a press tag on my motorcycle since then none of them distub me again
i really never give them any money, and to tell you the truth, the day before i recorded the video i has a very long fight with this same man... i was arguing it took time but i didn't give them any kobo like usual... i don't know why the day after, i was in a good mood... i shouldn't do it, cause it is encouraging them to do it more... however
I would like to watch the agbero part, what time is it?
Original lagosians, stand up! Thanks for giving us expats a taste.
it is my big pleasure Sir ! thank you

Ludo, I didn't know that Nigeria is so congested, oh! my God, I can't attempt to drive in that Mega city, sorry. 🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦
😅 this is only in some parts of the city, here it was one of the most congested market, before christmas, it is not always like this
yes..; it is hectic !!!
Great video Mr Ludo watching from Texas
Thanks for watching !!! kindly share the ride in texas on your social network !
I think its neat the way they balance items on their heads, you never see that in the states.
they are really skilled, i tried hard, but my level is still so low :)
thanks for watching !
I am so glad you have your new okada. I had not realized how much I missed riding virtually on your bike as you ride those Lagos streets. My heart be racing when you squeeze through the cars and people. 😆
You and me both! i don't understand why i didn't do it more the previous months, i like to share these with you
@@Ludo_Liu I enjoyed the travels with your family. It was a break from your normal content. Something different and we got to experience a bit more of you personally.
Omg Lagos is a very Biiiiig city like 😮😮😮, just people everywhere ❤❤❤🇳🇬🇳🇬
yes oooo And i looooove this toooo much
the busy life at its best
What a shame. Look at the road at idumagbo. Is there no local government agency in that area. Look at the black dirty water
Government of the people by the politicians for the politicians, family, and cronies.
@@ati2006😅 meritocratic.
In October, the Lagos state Governor, Mr Sanwoolu and his team visited Lagos island on a drainage and regeneration tour of the area, and it included Idumagbo which you complain about at the beginning of this video. He has ordered the demolition of illegal market structures built on drainage in that area of the state. Expect a change very soon. I want you to know that the Governor already regenerated the Sura to Adeniji Adele area and reconstructed the road which leads to where Ludo began this video at Jankara, so it's a continuous process.
someone said in the comment section that the local government has planned to work on this street . I 'll kleep us updated if I see any change
@@Ludo_Liu sorry i think i would never go NIGERIA ..
Thanks for the vid
No problem it is a real pleasure to be back in the heart of Naija ! and share it with you
Nothing in the world 🌎 like a Lagos market crowd…
definitively true. A must experience
😳 The city road is overwhelming with sich populated street of Lagos.
yes this is full of live , I love this
Salut Ludo , je n'ai pas encore eu le temps de visionné la video , mais jai très hâte d'avoir le temps... je suis certain que ce sera excellent !! J'adore Lagos même si je ny ai jamais mit le pied !

My favorite is the one with Mom where you stopped for food 👍
I loved that one too but the algo didn t push it .or only you and me loved it 😀
My husband and I love ❤️ to watch your show.
Awesome! Thank you!
Please do a video on places to stay that's safe , clean and reasonably affordable for traveller's, especially ladies, visiting lagos
my house has an extra room ?!? and it is very cheap :)
joke on the side, it is an interesting idea. To tell you the truth, I planned a video like this, booked an hotel and start shooting, but the experience was so bad, no water, no fan, no light, waitted hours for the food that i decided not to charge the owner with what i shot...
Jaimerai tellement visite le Nigeria malheureusement je suis francophone et je ne connais personne
n'hésitez pas à venir visiter, vous rencontrerez des personnes sympa, c'est certain
I can't wait to watch whole video thank you Ludo for all your hard work 👍👍👍
Thank you too to be here, hope you will enjoy the busy markets areas
As for safety, I always tell people that this kind of environment (e.g. Balogun market) is the safest anyone (local or foreigner) can be in Nigeria during daylight period.
Any act of crime against a person would be stopped immediately, and if it is robbery, the armed robber would be lucky if there is no bonfire.
This is a place not to worry too much about crime except pick pockets and people rubbing themselves against beautiful girls. Those petty crimes, they can get away with.
yes hat is exactly what I should have said, so many people to take care of you around, that nobody can harm you... unless this person doesn't feazr for is own life, cause people would for sure protect you...
thanks a lot for this comment
Looks like Dubai and New York Nigeria so modern and develop country the road is so wide pave concrete clean and street are well plan. Now I believe Nigeria is giant and Dubai new York of Africa.
Exactly!! Looks like tokyo and seoul very very developed and rich than USA and China. ☺️
😂😂😂😂
What Nigerians are referring to is the Eko Atlantic City as Dubai in Africa. Some of their bloggers say...revenge of Africa and some say Nigeria's answer to Dubai.

Great Video as always but i wonder, if those Danfo Mini Buses have Passed LACVIS Vehicle Inspection...! In some aspects, you just can't change Nigeria and Africa...! 🤔🤔😇😇👍👍
ayaya yes this danfos... it is not changing ... i don't know how many more years they can be jumping on the roads,
Welcome back to Lagos, thanks for this video. Love Zurich Switzerland ❤❤

I love it more and I've gone to all the places shown in this video. Infact only a few places I haven't visited in the entire Lagos. From Epe to Lekki to Island to Mainland to Badagry to Ikorodu, seen it all. Great job

so is this the lagos island am shock what a dumping site so dirty. the authorities of the city should do something about it.
What country are you from
I saw my house 😅
wow it means you live in one of the most lively place of Africa !
I would like to see your new motorcycle .
yes you will definitively see it o !
@@Ludo_Liu ok sir, please how are you coping with agberos boys. my brother adviced me never to get a motorcycle because of their extortions.
if you have all the papers, you don't neet to mind them... if they try to extort you, tell them firmly no. If they take your bike keys, shout at them, be strong tell them you don't fear them, cause you don't need to fear them, They can't do anything.if you have all your papers

around 20 million people ! thanks a lot to be here
almost 25million by now@@Ludo_Liu
10 millions according to the number of spetember 2023... depend of the way to count...
Are there traffic lights?
yes few of them ! welcome to Lagos, hope you enjoyed the ride
you were very lucky not to get a head on collision with one of those big black walls they are so big you might get lost inside if you hit against it
what ? i don't get it ?
you were driving too crazy between those cars and trucks i was so scared i say that you might have hit one of them in the rare
What are you driving ? A bike ?
yes that's it, a bike i bought here on the market
They just selling to each other, no damn sidewalks ''WTF''

please do not drive crazy again just do it right for you make me very scared by only looking
i feel i am driving very slowly here, no ?
thanks a lot for watching and for your comments !
I really appreciate !
I ve been told there is no government assistance in Nigeria ( at least Lagos) to help those who are living in poverty??
the problem is that the immense majority of population is living under the poverty threshold .
yes the situation is really hard for many people here.
Maybe village life is better!

What a hell are they doing with the tax payers money? Sanitation isn't looking good but it's a well built up city.
governement is doing a lot of work on sanitation these last year,, digging new sewage system, and rebuilding some roads totally.
someone in the comment section said it is planned in tha first street you saw on the video. let's see the changes comlng
I wonder if the politicians have their own roads. Maybe the reason why the roads are so bad is because politicians don’t use these roads and haven’t experienced how terrible the roads are.

Most crowded maybe, in terms of population Lagos comes in at 4th. Luanda, Cairo and Kinshasa have bigger populations than Lagos
it is difficult to be sure of the answer as no official statistic have the same result. for sure lagos has more population than Luanda, and kinshasa today.... about who has the head between cairo and Lagos, it is difficult to say it, cause depends of the way we count people in the two megapole. depends if we count the inner city or the full megapole

Why is that roads in African countries aren't that good, even in the biggest commercial and financial areas? It's very noisy, crowded and full of trash on the streets.

@@jimmytoriola4965 exactly, but these Europeans love africa like this.

Yes Europeans , they proven it over the years. During colonizers' occupation, they deliberately underdeveloped africa. Especially the French. They also supported governments that did not care about its own people. It's too much to list.
