I'm 70 years young and have had the moto pogo (mine is called a forthgoer) for three years. It took a bit of practice to ride but is fun and the looks you get priceless. The unicycle has limits that you don't want to cross but you will not get any warning before it just switches OFF so don't get too aggressive or ride on rough ground.
why don't they make the Ryno (or another version of it) just like any other motorcycle with top speeds over 75 mph. a real electric motorcycle but with one wheel

Look - great looks, after 6 weeks of bashing Weight - it's really all tire, but as I fall I can easily grab the seat so it doesn't slam the ground. Size - Very adjustable. I'm 6', 33" inseam. I put it mostly up, but could go a bit higher if I needed to. The Bad: Not sure if it's out of the norm, but seat got scraped up quickly. Pedals - they are a bit uncomfortable and I can't get the right feel on my feet. But, they are solid and haven't been damaged at all as I've seen in reviews on other cycle's.- To address one comment about the seat connection not straight. Huh? Seat is on a round pole, you just turn it and it's straight. Either of the bad I expected to replace once I improved. I'd recommend to anyone else in the learning phase.

DC motors have A LOT of torque. That’s why electric cars accelerate so quickly and why self-balancing one wheeled vehicles are possible. The feedback loop between the CPU and the wheel is very fast.
That thing is useless, get yourself an electric unicycle, you'll thank me later, those are the Future, but I mean a good one not the cheap crap this video shows, check the Veteran sherman or Begode monster pro or Kingsong s20 eagle.

There’s a bunch of lawsuits going on over One Wheel. Guess they have a tendency to stop when your flying along making for some hard face and shoulder plants. Lots of broken bones and worse.
Many of us real engineers are still skeptical of 3D printed plastic parts. They have a 30% weakness in them. On a tiny level, they"re built in layers. If the designer does not compensate or the vendor does not do their whole job properly (or is Chinese) it can break.
I just don't see the point of the Ryno. It's big, it's heavy, it's expensive, and it's not portable. What is there to like ? Half a motorbike on an underground tube train ?? Get the f out of here !
I bought a freeforce e-bike but soon 4 months later the controller burned out so I replaced with a KT controller Now, my e-bike can go 47mph in himode But I keep it down at 24, mph pedal assist saves battery power! The bike is 200% better since the upgrade . Stock it sucked Now it is downright FUN !!!! Motor ON !!
Would be nice to see older people on the two sit down models as they're the ones who really could benefit by these!
