- Classic Crock Pot Cocktail Sausages
2 24-ounce packages Hill Shire Farms Little Smokies Link Sausages
12-ounce jar Heinz Chili Sauce
12-ounce jar Grape Jelly
Place all ingredients into a crock pot with the lid. Cook on low stirring occasionally until heated through and enjoy.

My daughter and her sons got mad at me 16 years ago and I only see them at some funerals (they don’t come to many).
I AM NOT on a pity party. I do hurt,but it has long since stopped consuming my soul.
You are so right. God is always with me and although I don’t see them,I know according to scripture that angels are watching over me as well.
I have my “love of my life” dog that loves me and watches over me.

@@lindabranum6686 yes ma'am. It is 1-1/4 cups vegetable oil mixed with 1 package of Ranch dressing mix. I also Sprinkle a bit of Cayenne but that is optional. Just toss them gently with your crackers and enjoy. They are great with soups. Sorry I haven't posted the recipes. I'm gonna add them this week I promise.

Thank you Amy love watching your show yes I actually lost my partner October 30 he found out he had pancreatic cancer September 2 and this was a relationship we had started to rekindle a year ago and we were together 12 years ago for five years so very sad before Christmas unexpected so thinking of you with the loss of your family member as well but you keep me cheery every day When I watch your videos I am from Alberta and he was from Florida and I know I’m a Southern girl at heart❤ one day maybe I’ll get to see y’all in Louisiana❤ Happy New Year to y’all 🎉

Amy, I'm enjoying your visit on this New Year's Day of 2023! Our family celebrated last night (guys circled around the TV watching football games, ladies clustered together catching up on family news and recipes, teens outside around the fire pit and mud riding in the back pasture). A "cauldron" of gumbo with rice and potato salad nearby and sweet treats waiting to fill that cajun sweet tooth. My contribution was a basket of cornbread mini bites. After fireworks, I wished everyone a happy new year. When I arrived at my home, I walked straight to the kitchen to get a slow cooker started with white chicken chile. I awoke to an awesome aroma. After church, dinner was waiting. Thank you for your inspiration. Wishing you a very blessed 2023.

My deepest condolences for the loss of your Uncle Larry. I lost my dad on December 20 several years ago. His funeral was on Christmas Eve. My dear mom died the following year on Christmas Day. She and dad had 9 children. We all stood around her bed and sang the song, "I'll Be Home for Christmas." Lots of tears but after 65 years of marriage to dad, we knew that she wanted to be with him for the holiday.

Certainly enjoyed your snacks prep as I ate my bbq ribs and potato salad dinner with nothing bundt cake (white chocolate raspberry) for dessert this new year’s evening. I’m happily single with 2 kitties to keep me entertained . That meal is not a new year’s tradition but sounded and tasted great and what a blessing to be able to afford to eat what I wanted in a warm home this evening while watching you cook. I love doing snacks, chips n dips for the New Year also, except tomorrow my hubby and I are going to spend a couple of days with our middle son and his family who live about 3 hours away. 😋
I love making the Rotel dip with the same Jimmy Dean sausage that you put in yours. The only thing I do differently is I add a little chopped onion into the sausage while it's browing, but next time, I'll throw a brick of cream cheese in there, too! Ya can't go wrong there!! 😋
I'm not sure if you made your cocktail smokies, but I use the same ingredients as you do. The chili sauce and grape jelly. Yum Yum!

Amy, I hope I can go home like your Uncle Larry! Im 81 on Jan 24 so I know my life will soon come to an end. Ive asked the Lord for 85 years at least! I just wanted to stay around till my grandkids grew up cause they didn't want me to go yet! I always stay home on New Years Eve and watch stuff on TV. This year I was at my daughters house for most of Dec with the flu! It wasn't covid but it was a bad one! I hope you and John have a blessed year!! Amy these videos may be teaching us wonderful recipes but it’s also a ministry. I found this video on a day I needed it the most. Jesus is my hope and Lord of my life but sometimes we need a live person and He’s definitely put you in our lives for encouragement. I have pulmonary fibrosis and I’m on oxygen making it hard to get out a lot so holidays and celebrations can bring on depression. But your sweet videos lighten my spirits. ❤
