My birthday was June 13th. I turned 60. I took the day off from work and went to the garden center and then garaged sale my way home. Best day ever.
My anniversary was also two days before my birthday,. My husband also bought me red roses for our anniversary. I actually bought them for him before he passed away and could no longer do it for me. Cherish those roses and gifts from the heart. .Celebrate all the time you have with your loved ones.
Same! He was on an electric scooter in Sam's Club, we walked by the flower section, I went over and picked out the roses. Our them in the scooter, leaned over and kissed him on his temple and said Happy Birthday!! Thank you for my flowers! We both chuckled! It's one of my favorite memories!

This was such a quiet, peaceful, inspirational and beautifully scenic video. Your flowers inside and outside are beautiful as well as on the walk. I hear you about your house wanting to be sure everything is perfect. No matter how much I tell myself it doesn't matter, I've never been able to just not care nor have I ever been able to keep it even close to picture perfect. I just do the best I can. I agree we shouldn't stress ourselves out and just enjoy the moment. I like the idea of one comment that you should make an appointment if you came to see the house but if you came to see me, come anytime. That's such a good way to look at it.

I just told my daughter this couples have to fight its not healthy not to. It helps you grow together and share a life together day by day sharing the good times is always great getting through the bad times makes you strong is not all hugs and kisses all the time it’s when you’re there, One bad Times come as long as it’s not abusive it’s OK to fight then work it out

Love the ring, my husband spent good money on my set and the setting cracked. Instead of paying over a thousand dollars to have it fixed I got a ring from Julia’s. It has lasted for years and no one has been the wiser that it is fake!!!

Love the pearls.. they are m,y favorite. I wear pearl studs almost every day. Being from California, I am always amazed to see the parks looking so peaceful and empty. Here its always busy and filled with people. I never see these areas where no one is walking. I love nature and water. When you drove past your dream house... I was thinking.. yours is my dream house. I guess its different for each of us. What a great birthday.... an iced blended cofee. a tranquil walk in a peaceful park, meeting my husband for Pad Thai, and a stop at the thrift shop, ending with friends and a pool party! Does life get much better than that?

Hey Kristen, just a heads up when buying used shoes. I work for a Podiatrist. It’s important to spray the inside of the shoes with Lysol just in case someone had a toenail fungus who previously wore the shoes as it can be transmitted.

First Happy Birthday. Ok, the horse thing is a horse or mule collar. The dirty little mugs were antique shaving mugs. Before shaving cream men had a cup with a brush with a bar of soap in the bottom and they’d form a lather with a little water & the soap. There’s your history lesson for the day. 😊❤😊

I was scared before every birth but what little miracles they all were and so worth it. We’re so blessed. You will be too. You’ll be fine and you will get through it. Think about afterwards and holding your beautiful little miracle in your arms, not how you get there.

Hi Kristen..so many things I love about the video…First…I love you don’t have to have a diamond and gold ring. I do like jewelry and when we first got married gold was not too bad. The last time my husband bought me a little gold starfish to put on a chain it was expensive. I told him no more jewelry because a friend of mine gives me lots for gifts. It is not real gold or silver that she gives me and I don’t care. She thought she was dying and gave me almost all of her jewelry. She was fine, but did not want her jewelry back. Also when my husband buys me real gold earrings I tend to lose one. Last time he bought me gold earrings for my birthday we went down the river in a canoe and I lost one of them two hours after getting . The second thing I love was the verse from Matthew..that verse gives me so much peace in troubling times. I need to have that on a card or chalkboard. Third I love thrifted items like you, so much that I can hardly buy new. Isn’t it wonderful to find nice things for not a lot. I love you got the tall Uggs. I went to am estate sale yesterday and got six items for twelve fifty. One beautiful shirt was linen and silk..one was one hundred percent cotton and a cotton white denim jacket and Tommy Hilfiger cropped jeans that fit right to the top of my ankles since I am short and joggers and a cotton black sleeveless dress that feels like heaven. I love the things you got , especially the glass container with the wooden top. The fourth thing I loved about this video was something I need to hear and do. I get so hyper and crazy before company comes. The funny thing after people come the house is a mess anyhow. I need to invite more friends over and not care that the house is not perfect. It is just my husband and I and I clean regularly but you know how wood floors can show everything, but next time I will remember your words. Happy birthday sweet girl. I’m a newer subscriber . You stole my heart the first time . I needed the message about releasing everything being perfect to have people over. . I romanticize a get together and everything is Pinterest worthy in my mind . But truth be told , there is unfinished DIY’s here and there , some weeds sprouting up in flowerbeds , some windows that need to be cleaned and the master bedroom half painted . But it’s ok. Chances are their homes are not perfect every second either . I like how you said , it maybe gives them permission to not feel the pressure of perfectionism. I think it can rob us of so much joy and people and for what ? You know ? I just celebrated my 25 th anniversary . He is my best friend . But all relationships take love , patience , forgiveness and yes, sometimes some productive talks . Growing talks . Those heart to hearts are what makes marriage strong . Thank you for your honesty .

All were welcome and it was truly a home not just a program.. and it was faith based. We saw many life changing transformations, had many to graduate. The were like our own sons, and still are, will always be. We were called Pops & mama Tammy.. Very loving & informal😊 God says we are to love everyone, some were harder to love than others lol, but we love them all!! You Have A beautiful yard, the flowers are gorgeous.. some of Gods beautiful art/creations! I always say that about the mountains! Now that we're moving from Tennessee to Florida, I'll be saying it about the ocean! Your daughter is precious!😊 The pearls are so sweet & your wedding set is beautiful❤ Honey i have a gold wedding set that was well over 3k.. but i wear silver now. I wasn't about to spend that kind of money again! My set us 925 silver with a gorgeous princess cut stone, it has 2 tiny stones in the prong setting and small princess cut stones waterfalling down onto the band.. the matching band Is also h the small princess cut stones to match! I haven't taken it of for almost 3yrs since i got it except a few times to we my gold set.. it still looks like the day i got it, but a little dirtier lol😄 I love it all the same! Ohhh love the curtains on the back porch, what a difference! Honey I've been living on Matthew 6:25-34.. with making this move from Tennessee to Florida, and a the changes we are facing. At my age I've become a creature of habit, change has become scary. So many of you ladies i watch have been reading scriptures that i need to be reminded of.. thank you!🥹 The sparkle vans are precious! Those were horse collars, part of the harness used when they pull a wagon or a plough.😉 Nice little haul! Fun times with friends are the best! TFS!

The ring is STUNNING!
It is a very attractive ring, but I never understand doing away with the original and getting a replacement.. My engagement ring was small and now we could afford something bigger and better. However, I cherish my ring as it was a symbol of our love those many years ago and how excited we were to be getting married. I would never replace it.

That ring is beautiful. My husband and I married with $50 bands from Walmart. 😂 and honestly wouldn’t have had that but my in laws bought them. I have since gotten a morganite ring with rose gold band. I love it and it was $300 verses thousands too. I have been seeing moissanite and it’s so pretty
