When you start comparing your lives to other people, you're gonna start feeling empty. You're gonna start feeling why don't I have that in life. And we know that can lead to depression and in some cases suicidal thoughts and also it can lead to somebody being not content with the provision that Allah Ta'ala has written to them and this is where you see people being ungrateful...

Hey bro, on detaching from love of extravagance: When I was younger I got to the highest levels of multiple games, had everything. The videos from one of the games are still on this channel. But it got boring being on the top, and I realised that the funnest part was the journey there. Literally, something just clicked in me, and I stopped caring about anything beyond a certain extent even in real life. T-shirt, jeans and fitness was all i needed. Basically, it stems from earning what you want, and then realising that it's rubbish and it was the process of earning that mattered.
