I am not fan of today's NBA. I have only been paying attention because all of the negative coverage, I loved the old pistons, and when defense was a thing. Now it is all 3s, easy baskets, players being allowed to travel, players being allowed to double dribble, flopping, and wimpy fouls. The product is not as good as it used to be.
Yes trade him. The Pistons need to figure out a way to get both Zion and Ben S. Then they can team up with James Wiseman and Marvin Bagley.
I want him to be traded for the sake of his mental health and career. But no, they shouldn’t trade him.

He’s a turnover machine, is often lazy on defense. Mediocre assist stats in a non-defensive era, poor rebounder as an oversized guard, and cannot shoot.
He may not be a complete bust but if we’re re-drafting he was definitely overhyped and isn’t going #1.
Scottie Barnes looks like potentially the next Kawhi.
Alperen Sengun is blossoming into a poor man’s Jokic.
Josh Giddey does everything better than Cade and commits way fewer turnovers.
Evan Mobley is a dominant post player.
I would take all those guys over him in a re-draft.

Trust the process, remember Devin Booker with the Suns a few years agooo when everyone told him to demand a trade when Phoenix was the worst team in the league.... All they need to do is get a veteran true PG and play Cade at SG ... Killian Hayes can come off the bench..

Turnover machine plays little to no defense
No id say him duran and ivey you keep. But everyone else should be expendable. In my opinion this team is too damn young and they need a star leader and right now case is just not that guy.... But i believe he can be with time 🙏

Hayes play out the rest his contract and see what happens. He has his ups and downs.
Wiseman still has ALOT of work to do. We need more bigs, but I don't think he is it. 15million next year? I think that is alot for a project whose upside right now isn't the best.

Joe Harris, Alec Burks, and Monte Morris should not be back next year. I know what they are trying to do with them from shooting stand point but no. Trade them if possible this year or let walk.
Bojan is nice. He is getting old no doubt but probably best shooter and consistent player (on offense) we have. I would only trade him if he wants to leave or something really good in return.

It really is the question of, do you want to do Cade a favour and trade him to a team with the talent to utilize him, even to say Sixers (where Joel Embiid's explosiveness would compliment Cade's talent with pick & roll and drives towards the paint) OR do you want to continue being this guy's albatross and just torture him professionally.
'cos boy-oh-boy there is too much media out there of Cade being wildly bummed-out for Pistons' front office to control the narrative like other teams would (i.e. Harden at Sixers & Clippers, the Draymond stuff for Dubs, Wemby's rookie year and the state of the Spurs currently, and so on)

Next year's top picks are meh... no clear cut stars like Wemby last year.
Give Detroit 2024 Spurs protected 1st rounder (maybe just top 1 protected), 2024 Toronto 1-6 protected pick, 2024 Charlotte 1-14 protected pick, give them the 2025 Hawks unprotected pick, 2025 Chicago 1-10 protected pick...maybe own Spurs 2025 first pick protected or whatever....Detroit has to at least think about it. Spurs have many available draft assets and good players like Keldon or Vassell or McDermott as trade fodder for a 3rd party team if needed to facilitate.
They do not have to at least think about it. The only way they would trade him is if he tells him he's leaving.
