    I've got to add to my previous comment. The download was extremely slow guys, get ready for a potty break. And worse was that after the install and startup the app went to....without asking....back to Topaz to download a 'Model Image' (whatever that Is/was, I'd like to know pease).....and it took a full HALF hour to download at a decent speed I have.....crikie! I've got to say also that it takes quite sometime to process an image....but the result was.....excellent.... on images that I am doing a series on (of Bison). Everything about it, the hair, and some long grass on them with fringe/halo just disappeared and grass seed, exceptional!! Love it! Thanks A.

    Thanks! A great illustration in this vid of the auto feature, is that you said Anthony, that you completely missed the focus on this bird.
    However, the ai analysis was that the problem was motion blur.
    This not only allowed a quick fix, but also gave us feedback on how our camera system and technique was working at the time of the shot.
    This would then allow us to troubleshoot system and/or and take some corrective action before our next field outing. 😃

    This software is ok if you are editing 1 image, but if you start editing more than 2 or 3 bugs start jumping all around. Try export 2 or 3 photos when selecting all with check marks, then select first one, turn on automatic deblur model and parameters and also turn on "select - auto subjects" - the list with all images to be processed updates their masks, but if you export - no subject selection happens, all image is sharpened as if mask covered all image. In order to work I must go through images one by one.

    I think I have every tool that Topaz offers and the only one I regret keeping is Mask AI, Photoshop is WAY better for masking. Their Video Enhance AI is what got me started with the brand because it is soooo impressive, but their Studio 2 is also a great alternative to Lightroom or Photoshop. You all will probably find the best deals on their products around Thanksgiving/Christmas time. That's when I bought mine and I've been a pretty happy camper ever since. Cheers 🍻

    • @danielvoulkos8274
      @danielvoulkos8274 Před 2 lety +1

      Studio 2 has been dropped from the Topaz website for sometime now. No support whatsoever. I had found somewhere to buy it a little over a month ago not knowing this, paying $83 bucks. Not happy with that but so many people on the web recommended it that I thought I'd add it to my toolbox. I really think it should go for $30 or so as who knows how long it will work, another year???? I do like some of the tools, why I collect these like screwdrivers, gotta have full set right. Cheers.

    • @Finite-Tuning
      @Finite-Tuning Před 2 lety +1

      @@danielvoulkos8274:
      I only purchased Studio 2 this past Christmas (2021), I think I only paid $35 for it cause I was purchasing a bunch of their products at the same time during that sale week. If they took it down since then I am not aware, but I got it straight from Topaz and it works fine for me. I got it mostly for the special effects as I mainly use Photoshop for everything else. They do have some really neat AI effects that I've not seen elsewhere. I hope they continue it, but it is kind of a one trick pony since so many other editors exist now that all do the same things.
      I always keep at least one full set of SnapOn screw drivers in their case at all times, because as soon as you set one down, it suddenly grows legs. Knowing where to find a replacement can be mission critical sometimes. That and tape measures.... I buy 10 at a time so I can always find at least one 😆 Cheers🍻.

    Great tutorial, thanks. Just one question...
    Is there any Ai logic to the 'Comparison x4 view' (auto mode switched ON) as it seems completely random to me. First of all it doesn't include the auto model found in the single view and sometimes it will show exactly the same model 2 or 3 times, i.e 'Standard'. What is the point of this? Is it a completely manual process where you choose the models and not the Ai ?
    I noticed in various tutorials on previous versions the comparison view looked much better and simpler and showed Original top left and the three other different models in the other sections but it doesn't do that in version 4. I am new to Topaz sharpen in version 4 so I never actually got to use the previous versions.

    I don't get it, you spend a fortune for Adobe products and then you need to spend more to get this? I'm saying this does a bad job but you shouldn't have to buy more than your Adobe products to get it.
