soulful to the nth power, the background dancers working hard. This sounds great in his voice, brought his own flavor, gave us the riffs, begging, sustains. Just felt good!
Beautiful performance! Felt like I was back in 1974, 18 years old, and soul music was everything. He really created the mood. The only difference those backup dancers would have been singers as well lol. Love the horns too!
I usually avoid this stage of the competition because it’s so disheartening when your person doesn’t advance, but I have to listen to D Smooth.
