I hope Roy is getting suitably paid by sky. Hes taken over my CZcams feed. Not complaining either.
Agreed! Could watch these all day. Would love to be there in the room firing questions at him. What a legend
Snap
Agree 💯fascinated by his take on today's game, especially on utd
Roy wouldn’t make his own kids breakfast without being suitably paid. Bloke knows his worth
Was sitting 2 rows back from Keano at ipox when the Celtic humped the huns...he was really enjoying himself...no wonder with that Celtic choir going at it non stop with our anthems😆😆😆
Seeing Keane's eyes light up when talking about Zidane is a sight to behold.
Joseph he even cracked a smile! Love him!
Zidane truly was world class
Loved that. Many people falsely think Zidane was just this magical flair player, and yes he was that, but every player who ever went up against him marveled at his physicality, frame and the way he used his body
@@TCCHClips7 Edgar Davids?
Poor man's seedorf...
@@TCCHClips7 Agree. Edgar Davids was fantastic!
Since keano has lost the beard he seems alot more chill recently. The beard was ruling him
The beard is Sauron's precious. That's why getting rid of it makes Keane more chill.
😂💯
ballbag1280 it's getting towards winter so the osama beard will be back soon lol.
He looks better without it.
Right! Was he calling everyone BOI too?
He went for 5 and a half minutes without mentioning him, and I thought “will he? Won’t he?” and then Pow! Dennis Irwin! Of course he did.
Roy Keane should be a permanent pundit he’s absolute class
Call Keane a pundit to his face and see what happens.
@@kingofthebridge8339 ok, but that's what he is. A pundit
Agreed. He is class.
All manc
It's because he is honest to a fault and doesn't care who the truth upsets.
Every time Denis Irwin comes up. “Denis Irwin, oh imagine if Dennis was playing today. Play left back, right back. Get you a goal, knows how to defend. And he never gets injured. Brilliant player”
Bromance
It's his job though
Best damn man he's ever played with!💪🏽⚽️👊🏼🇮🇪😄
8/10 most weeks, most weeks
Loves him more than he loves his wife haha
True story: I used to clean Keane’s windows in Woodbridge. Had many chats with him. Top guy.
Bet there was no tea n biscuits, with those chit-chats
Irate Primate Unfortunately not haha
mattcornford1 I bet you didn’t have sneaky looks at he’s wife through the window either lol,
@@jamesmiles1328 his*
Bet you never left any smears 😂😂
Nice to see Keano mention Gary Speed. Legend 🏴
Roy should just have his own channel at this point.
Id subscribe to it
With the sky execs suckling on his Wang
Yeah MUTV!
Keano podcast, let him question all these modern day footballers!!
The channel would be too frightened to host Roy’s videos
Please please get Roy Keane on more consistently, could listen to him for hours. Brilliant analysis
Tom Cushnie bruh your channel has died wth. Is it coz u changed ur content or is it coz of CZcams’s algorithm
@@ah6382 CZcams wasn't paying the bills anymore hehe
Tom Cushnie lol unlucky it’s tough being a youtuber
he’s nasty.. really really nasty
Totally right, he’s brilliant
When Keane isn't playing up to his persona he's a clever and witty bloke.
Respect his loyalty to the manc club even through these trying times.
The best ever defensive midfielder I have ever seen in my life, Real warrior, Real Soldier, accurate passer, strong very tough, team player, never gives up not seen some one like him for many years, miss him so much in United squad, now they are Hollywood actors!!
Makelele, lothar, xabi Alonso, casemiro, kante, etc are all better.
Wasn’t always a defensive player either he was box to box for many years
@@fuckyoutube1999😂😂😂 no they're not
Sky Sports treating us well once again with the Roy Keane vids
And I must say I'm not complaining😄
27 year old wonderkid Lingard
Having a lingard profile picture makes me think that you haven’t even watch he’s highlights
The Obnoxious Otter he’s 26
Keane was a real leader. Money changed the game for the worse
Absolutely
Did you see his wages back then?
Football died right when Zidane headbutted Materazzi. That World Cup was the end of an era, authentic football.
Now it's all mediocre and mediatized.
Every sport is about money! It's called moving forward with time.
@@julianbanks1885 So what, it doesn't make it better. Now everyone dives for nothing, and everyone cares about the numbers and ratings.
Cristiano would be retired if he had suffered only one kick from the butchers of Maradona's era.
Only now do I appreciate what a player Denis Irwin was. Such a low key and no fuss guy. Delivered every week
Paul pogba, Jesse Lingard probably could learn a few things about professionalism
Dennis Irwin, what a call, that man is one of the unsung heroes, there’s not many thing he couldn’t do. Brilliant free kick taker as well.
Nice to hear dennis Irwin getting his rightful credit 👍
Paul Bangash Only came into the comments to see if someone else thought it. Best left back in Premier League history in my personal opinion.
Literally the most consistently good player I’ve ever seen. NEVER had a bad game. Think because he was so quiet he doesn’t get the credit he deserved.....and I’m not even a man u fan
100% agree, not fame hungry no bullshit just a brilliant player
Easily the best fullback ever in England, gets so overlooked.
Indeed. A great, great, player!
Was waiting for him to say "and he's a Cork man". Good auld Roy.
He was right too though, he was bloody world class. Went largely under the radar too. You'd give anything for a defender like Irwin.
@@shaunb9876 a bad game for Denis was 7/10, that the current team on a good day
What is a cork man
@@1GeneralDan some one from Cork
Mr Dependable 👍
Fernando Redondo. Guy should never be forgotten. Smooth as silk, tough as old boots. On my list with the best of them. Legends!!
I agree. Nobody seems to mention him! Excellent player!
What a player!!
When keanos in a good mood and not being bitter he’s brilliant to listen to.
Check out off the ball videos Chris.
dazza cheers brother will do 🙌
He is never bitter just tell the truth
Roy not bitter just tell the thruth some people cant handle the truth
His mood dosnt define him his football does he has nothing to prove
I switched of the CL highlights to watch Roy Keane talk, and I’m a Liverpool fan, what a player!
Why people feel the need to say who they support lol so irrelevant
@@elbongo3593 I know hahahaha I never do because I'm so clever
@K3LO Thanks for the recognition of Keano pal, not often enough you hear a football fan acknowledging an opposing player from a bitter rival. BTW, Liverpool's list of legends is quite good too. I'd have given anything to have had Kenny Dalglish at Old Trafford instead of Anfield!
@@elbongo3593 not irrelevant, theyre showing respect & admiration for a player from a *rival* club whom they historically/previously didn't like..
So they emphasize that *even* though they dont like, or hated him &/or his club you can still show respect for the player, or the man he is/was.
The old midfielders were miles better, Keane, Figo, Zidane, Xavi, Iniesta, scholes, Pirlo, Vieira, Ronaldinho, Ballack, Seedorf and Makalele.. to name a few!! These guys would tear the midfielders of today a new arsehole!
Seedorf is an absolute veteran
Makalele, Ballack, don’t forget Lampard. Essien was another top class midfielder from that Chelsea era. Also, Alonso, Gattuso, Kaka, Guti, Davids, etc. Miles ahead of any current midfielders for sure
Been saying for the last few years that there's far less world class playing nowadays compared to 16- 20 years ago. Especially when you consider defenders - back then you had Maldini, Nesta, Puyol, Hierro, Ayala, Stam, Ferdinand, Thuram, Campbell just to name a few off the top of my head. Compare that to nowadays.
Simon Curtis I’m a Liverpool fan and I still see Lampard as world class. The ability he had to arrive late in the box to score, he’s one of the best I’ve ever seen to do it. Might not be as good as some of the rest, but certainly fits in in that list anyways
Nostalgia
Roy is down to earth and truthful and no ego. I could listen to his analysis all year long and never get bored.
Denis Erwin, probably the most underrated Man U player ever, an 8 out of 10 every game he played
I'm a liverpool fan but I have to say Irwin was unbelievably good what a player he was
" It's three! And everything they hit ends up in the back of the net."
Nathan 👍👌. Shame that it ended 3-3, it was a purely perfect first half🔴⚪️⚫️
Irwin
Derry Douglas
One of the best left backs in the Prem, had it all: shooting, crossing, passing, set pieces, good defensively you name it.👌
1:18 when he says “I’m not sure” is the purest Cork accent ever. That’s our Bhoy. Rebels Abú🇲🇨
Nothing like our own bud 😂

Langers
He commands respect when he speaks. Honest, straight forward, no BS. This man was next to SAF when it comes to influence he had on United. Him and Viera competing for the league every year, treat to watch. Actually made the premier league iconic, we watch and enjoy today
As a Leeds fan and Gary speed being idol as a kid,it’s nice to hear Roy giving him recognition like this
Speed was very underrated, tragic loss of life, I cried when I heard what happened
Kiddy fiddler speed
As a Liverpool fan I am always riveted when Roy Keane speaks. A great player and a brilliant pundit, he just says it as it is. Shame he never played for my beloved LFC.
Sky Sports don't try & change the subject
Spurs 2 - 7 Bayern Munich
Arsenal looked solid against Bayern after seeing that
Bayern loves North London clubs
@YNWA96 - yep - Spurs will be next season too...
@gg dd but arsenal lost 5-1 to Bayern 3 times
This was put up before thenmatch kcoked off, u fcukin binlid
Definitely love to listen to Keane regularly. It's the wisdom of experience, the way he pulls us back to times where players generally gave it all for the clubs. Obviously, the feeling is underlined with having seen him play in his time. And the accent, just makes it magical.
Love Roy Keane and honest and genuine pundit. Love him 😃
Always a joy to watch kean. Lit my face with joy all the time. 😃
Love hearing Keane talk about football. I’m a Liverpool fan but absolutely mad respect for everything about him as a player, him and Gerrard best CMs in Prem history for me, and tells it like it is as a pundit.
To see the twinkle in Roy Keane's eyes when he says someone was 'nasty'......it's like he's looking in a mirror and saying "oooh, you're looking handsome today son!"
“I was just retaliating over the years” 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Keane played white hot.
I’m glad he didn’t even think about it. Scholes would be my ideal midfielder forever.
"Paul Scholes could find my dad with a pass and I haven't seen him since I was 5". I don't know who said it but I love that quote!🤣
@@timothygraham4304 lmfao that's a brilliant Quote...love it. 😉
Hes right in what he said no one thought they were to big for the club working for your team mates and getting results
This is why I have so much respect for him no bullshit or posing just walks the walk and talks the talk -what a legend !!
Gary Speed, every time his name is brought up, I shed a tear.
A top, top man.
Gary Speed.
Gary Speed would have made a great Man Utd player.
I love how he spoke of Dennis Irwin
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
This guy has finally found his feet post playing!
Thanks SkySports, great day of Roy Keane videos!
Fascinating conversation . Roy is always so honest.
Basically everything he says makes sense! Need to see more of him.
Keano would rather die on the pitch than loosing. Priceless player This made me realise how football has changed over the years. Believe it or not he is one of the greatest player to ever wear a united shirt
Not the greatest but most productive player ever
Roy Keane is all over CZcams atm. Brilliant stuff. Would've loved to see him and Gerrard as pundits together.
Roy 'I was just retaliating' Keane
Good old Roy Keane, when ever he talks about world class players he always mentions Dennis Irwin. Totally loyal. But totally honest. Dennis was world class, never let his team down and was consistent through out his career
They're right. With defenders being coached to play from the back and be more comfortable on the ball, full backs are bombing forward, these roles have overlapped the midfielders. Midfielders need to be more versatile in the modern game with fluidity, transition etc. Even Kante, who you'd class as a CDM finds himself playing further ahead for France and Chelsea than he did at LCFC.
I'd also say the world class players Roy played with, CRonaldo, Schmichael, Scholes, Giggs. Great analysis of Irwin as well...a fellow Corkman lol
Pound for pound the best midfielder of his generation, i feel lucky i watched all of his matches for mutd , thanks Roy
Roy is straight to the point and very direct speaks his mind classic act great guy and even better pundit
I'm a Liverpool fan but I can listen to Keane all day long. Top player as well.
Roy Keane is the only guy for whom nasty is the best compliment lol. Absolute top class man
His partnership with Scholes is legendary but I gotta say for all their rivalry at the time, a midfield pivot of Keane and Vieira would’ve been insane 😂
Keane is a brilliant pundit. Great speaker 👏👏
Like his football on the field of play, never a dull moment watching Keano on TV as a pundit. The guy is class apart. Like it or lump it, he says it as it is.
Love that Irwin comment at the end!
Keep these videos coming
Fantastic video. Love Keane's insights.
Could listen to this legend all day
I’m a Liverpool fan but we need more players like Keano in the modern game. I play in college and if you take a boot to the ankle or an elbow to the face you’re expected to get on with it. I think it’s an issue that needs to be solved with the players and the refs but it’s only at the professional level where u don’t see this brand of football being played where u treat it like a war and if u take a knock u put ur head down and keep fighting
I always love to see Roy Keane laugh.
Because it is very rare .
Laughter in Roy Keane face is like snow in the desert.
I love these Roy Keane interviews. Carragher asking some great questions as well.
why does seedorf rarely get a mention? He was a bit before my time but from what ive seen he was incredible and whenever theres a charity maych with ex pros he's always the best player on the pitch
I have a lot of respect for Roy mentioning the Welsh legends; Giggsy, Sparky and of course Speedo 🏴🤝🇮🇪
💯💯💯🇮🇪🏴
As a Liverpool fan, I think Keane is one of the best pundits out there. Says it like it is, when others just follow the crowd. I've read his book (1st edition), highly recommended. I always thought he was a dirty player when I was younger, but now I see it as a collection of aggression, bravery, leadership and determination. A lot of teams miss this when they are behind in games, and require a psychological boost (or a kick in the arse) to get on level terms. He really is the perfect captain with those traits.
I legit can't get tired of these Keane videos!
Gattuso would be a perfect partner. They would literally kill their opponents.
On a further note, let us all laugh at Tottenham Flopspurs.
Daz Ediss ok bud. You’ve clearly never seen him play or coach in your life
imagine vieira and keane in that midfield though! they would lock everyone up
Daz Ediss; couldn’t agree more, Gattuso liked the hard man persona but in reality he was just a nippy wee dug with a lot of bark and a minimum of bite coupled with a bang average level of footballing skills.
@@jixuscrixus1967 he was technically poor, but he had a drive and intensity like no other. Wish such passion was more common these days.
Running around getting angry playing to the crowd while Pirlo and Kaka do all his work.
Verrati is the best player I’ve seen live in that position, so good to hear Jamie mention him 👏🏽
He had some good battles with Redondo at Real Madrid also.
One of a kind Roy Keane no one set the bar as high as him. Thats why him and fergie clash, because they are too alike
A correct assessment !!!
So true , I think that’s why the split is so bitter
Aye one of a kind but him n Fergie too alike 🙈
Gives Garry speed a shout out, pure class from Roy keane. RIP Gary speed
Roy Keane still living the “premiership” days what a legend 😂😂
I could listen to Keane for hrs all day
2005 days cup final I walked out the tunnel as Roy Keane mascot. He was absolutely brilliant to me.
FA Cup*
Tom Wadeson you were in the presence of greatness, Tom.
Johnny Giles was a great midfielder so was Liam Brady and those are just Irish, they could put a ball on a pinhead.
"people remember me for kicking people, these players were kicking me! I was just giving it them back!" hahahaha brilliant
Wat a legend I loved watching Keane as a player miss that era
As a Liverpool fan & fellow countryman of Keano, I feel that he should’ve won the World player of the year in 1999, he out played the midfield of Juve which consist of Zidane, Davids & Dechamps. I think. Also I seen him & Irwin play for Ireland many times quality player’s. I think both were very underestimated especially Irwin. But keep up the good work Keano 👍🏻🇮🇪☘️
The Balon d'or points didn't make any sense that year. Pavel Nevned was fantastic that year. Keane won the PFA player of the year and the United player of the year and Beckham even finished above him in the rankings.
@@barryb90 That's because journalists vote in the Ballon d'Or and most of them haven't got a clue about football. Also, what you win has a big impact on where you finish in the rankings. You could be having a ok season but if you win the league and the Champions League, or maybe even the World Cup or a Euros, that'll massively increase your chances. The FIFA World Player of the Year back in the day, nowadays the FIFA Best award are more accurate because players and managers vote in those.
Love how Roy keeps it real. Average football fan would laugh at the names Speed, Rob Lee, David Batty but if Roy tell you they were tough you listen and know they were difficult to play against. Everybodies too concerned with whos "World Class" these days.
The ‘and he’s a Cork man’ at the very end is brilliant !
Loved that 👊🏻 up the Rebels 🔴⚪
Loved the Denis Irwin mention at the end - criminally underrated player. Ashley Cole gets all the plaudits/mentions in Premier League "all time" lists, but Irwin's consistency and longevity were outstanding. Probably our best ever left back.
Keano's analysing is world class!
Scholes was different style when Keane was there. More attacking but he later sat back once Keane left and was even more impressive
Can't get enough of roy keane videos
Such a quality pundit, says it how it is and doesn’t sugarcoat things
There's some people I could listen to talk about Football all day, Keane is definitely one of them. Even Carra tbf.
Love the fact he really appreciates Dennis Irwin. Mr dependable.
Love it when he starts the Dennis Irwin talk. Almost sounds as if he is actually in love with the guy.
In my dream Utd team, Keane and Bryan Robson are in the middle of midfield. Two most inspirational players I've seen.
When I grew up I despised toy keane. Hated him. And yet when he dies I'll shed a tear because he is the last of an era. A proper footballer from a time before the money took something away. A proper football man. Fantasic pundit and story teller.
Rip speedo
Could listen to Keane all day!!
Dennis Irwin - what a shout. Top class professional
Amazing how keane and irwin are both from cork, ireland and played for manchester united for 12 years each
As an Arsenal fan I have to say I have a huge amount of respect for Roy. I guess he is one of the few world class players of his era who actually speaks the truth.
I'm becoming more addicted to Roy Keane than ever before. Lovely man
Me too brilliant
Roy kean 🙏🙏 straight up honest says it as it is spot on.
Sky, bringing Keane onto the show is a master stroke. He brings an intensity and he has an aura about him.
Loved him as a player for United and I’m loving him as a no-nonsense analyst.
Dennis Irwin is a great call, massively underrated but genuinely a top player at full back.
