I've had some requests for me to show my version of bannock bread.
See below for the recipe items needed:
Self raising flour
Dried milk powder
Salt
Sugar

Hi Des yes your spelling of hHeaphy is correct I have done parts of this walk one from Collingwood Nth end and two the Katipo shelter Sth end Karamea end
Mate I seriously can't remember what we walked but I do know it was an excellent location and the huts were great too

Hi Des We Have beautiful forests in Nz My favourie Forest is the Whirinaki There are a number of huts but many places you can just camp! I will certainly keep you informed as to how I coninue with Damper Bread Best regards KevinNZ
