It was a bit of a disappointment. Glad you made the most of it though. The woods look very different to when I was there last (weather warning & sideways sleat!!)
Nice one lads, nice quiet woods, we heard nothing but the breeze when we camped there, looks better with more greenery... when we went there was not much leaf cover...ATB Chris.

Hey there, he is looking good-I think Dutch Shepherds were originally bred for their farting prowess-mine does it when she gets excited-when we get near home in the car, if we slow down in the car (she thinks we've arrived).

It isn't funny when the windows are closed I can tell you 😲 the other day I slowed down cos I saw a couple of people I know, she farted, I opened the window to say hello, they got this stench tsunami 😁

Nice one Des Rocky has a nice coloured coat I think it’s called Brindle, but I’m sure you would know. Had one of those water bottles for my last dog he wasn’t a lover of it.

A lovely looking dog that is Des, he's highly intelligent and already showing loyalty to you, he'll be a good companion on your walks. Good luck on the Fan Dance bud, it can be a ball breaker but not as hard a workout as Endurance. All the best.

Dutch Shepherds are great dogs (as are the Belgian Shepherds) but every dog is different. There are hyper -types with high eneregy, which require a lot of physical & mental activity & there are others who are more layed back, wth medium energy & make excellent pets & companions. It isn't because a certain breed is used for work, that every individual of that breed has a working mentality. I wouldn't take too much notice of CZcams videos of these breeds ether, as they are highly focused on the spectacular & can give a misleading image of the breeds, just lke they did with pitbulls 10 or 15 years ago. It's too soon yet to judge his real personality as he is still working out his new enviroment but your buddy looks like a well balanced dog & if his reactions to strangers & other dogs are "normal" then you shouldn't have much trouble with him & kudos to his previous owners who socialised him. I envy the journey you 2 are starting out on together. 👍

That was great to watch Rocky learning. He needs a fire patch sewn on his harness like a boy scout, he passed with flying colours! Gonna be a great camp buddy for sure. Beautiful dog. I'm sure his face said "I'll have that f spoon you wait" 😂👍
