- Here's my 3rd episode in the Qubo series. Today I'm talking about Sherlock Holmes in the 22nd Century. This UK based cartoon put a cool futuristic twist on the classic detective stories. Lemme know your thoughts on the series in the comments below.

The only thing they got wrong about Holmes portrayal is that he respected women in the books.
I'm surprised this show isn't more talked about, honestly. A couple of my friends, who are also into Sherlock Holmes in general, talk about it all the time. Truly a show, a show that aired on the 90's, that 90's Sherlock Holmes show.
I think a big problem was reach, I get the feeling it didn’t have too big of an audience.
Yes. One of my faves as a kid. Not many people I know watched it though, unfortunately😭.
I know! It feels like a lot of shows I liked as a kid fly under the radar for most people.
Qubo had so many classics
Denver the last Dinosaur, Babar. Inspector Gadget anyone?
And I just realized that Archie's Weird Mysteries was a thing.
@@DarkfoxTamamo_21 Oh I loved those shows!! Archie's weird mysteries played back to back with this as well.
@@nighttimemysteries7320 I also loved that one. I also enjoyed Denver the Last Dinosaur. It was the 1980's version which worked better than the modern one that is seen on CZcams.
This show was THE show that started my love and funny rabbithole Sherlock Holmes craziness as a kid up to now ( now 20 .) I have such fond memories of staying until 2 to 3am on weekends to watch it. I was HOOKED. I adored the dynamics of Holmes and Robo- Watson more than I liked Holmes' with Lestrade (no hate on her, she's cool) Part of me remembered thinking they had froze Watson's head and put it on the robotic body, but the episodes were random so I didnt see the first and second episodes until much later.
I wasnt old enough to understand relationships, but I REALLY thought that Holmes and Watson were married oddly, and the whole group was just found family with street kids with Lestrade as the aunt, and her and Holmes having a sibling dynamic (still kinda do).
The one epside when Lestrade was mind-controlled TERRIFIED me, that i remember running to the bathroom to hide until the show came back on to finish it.
I remember making a whole oc based off that one episode with the snake- man criminal.
Either way, i'm VERY happy you talked about this show, its VERY dear to my heart and its how I got into the love of mystery in general.
I've never watched this show, but I'm adding to my list of cartoons to watchand maybe laugh, idk, you are rad.
I got hit with soo much nostalgia when this video was recommended! I remember that it use to air around 9pm on Qubo in my area and the memories just came flooding back. Love the video, keep up the great work! 😁😁
Hey, thanks! That’s part of the reason I like making these videos. It’s always fun hearing all the memories and nostalgia people had for these shows.
Same!
I loved this show
I'm 100% certain the Bravestarr two parter is a backdoor pilot to this show. Bravestarr doesn't even show up until halfway through the first episode. Robo-Watson is replaced by an alien named Whhitson, and Lestrade is actually split into two lady: one a descendant of Mycroft Holmes and the other actual Lestrade. And Moriarty is also a clone and Sherlock has electrical powers...
Being Ian was the best
You forgot Tennyson the hover wheelchair genius, and that one girl. I forgot her name.
YES I REMEMBER THIS SHOW OMG
Sherlock Holmes and the Great Escape isn't that bad, actually
YESSSSSSSS
