Omg!! I SWEAR to you I have a picture along the same lines for the same reasons !!!! I am in shock right now!!! This was at a thrift store it was like needlepoint but it had yarn also, but it was pumpkins ,it was a pumpkin patch and it even had the date like 1974 and it had the woman's name and obviously she had passed away or something and it wound up in a thrift store for a dollar!! Everyone that sees it says it's hideous AND cannot believe I have it in my house because my house is meticulous and full of nothing but antiques and Victorian era so it certainly doesn't match the decor BUT I freaking love it!! I could not let the story behind this picture end in a "thrift store", when it was obvious the picture was stitched with loving hands... I did finally move it into my laundry room so I'm the only one that sees it but I do see it two or three times a week when I do laundry.. I will send you a picture or I'll maybe I can post a picture in the Facebook page or something ,yours is prettier but I'm freaking out that it's along the same lines 😂
@@thriftysoutherner9108 I'm in bed with the stomach flu or something right now but I will take a picture tomorrow and there's another one that someone just had laying in a free pile at a yard sale it was hand painted and it truly IS ugly but again, the words on the back were so touching that I started crying right there in front of people at the yard sale ... 💔someone had oil painted a picture of a garden with a wheelbarrow and stuff and the words that they put on the back was unbelievable,like a Hallmark movie, they were so totally in love with whoever this was painted for and it had her name and the date ...I couldn't believe it so I have it in my laundry room as well because it doesn't go with my decor at all but when I look at those pictures they make me feel warm and fuzzy inside.. I'll take a picture of both of them and show you the handwriting on the backs as well ❤️
