Hayden is perfect for the role as Anakin/Darth Vader! I literally couldn't imagine Anakin being anyone else. You can see how much he truly loves Star Wars and now he's finally getting the love and appreciation he deserves.
The show blew me away, it was truly peak Star Wars bringing these legends back! I hope that more is to come!

Hayden is legend! Never heard that theory about obiwan and padme either but the questions were cool. Different from what they normally get.
If you read the ROTS novel, that was Palpatine’s entire ploy. He tried to convince Anakin that they were having an affair by reporting to him that his agents caught obi wan sneaking into her apartment at an inappropriate hour. Then in the movie when he had to ask specifically if obi wan came to her apartment just for her to answer. That’s why he felt so betrayed on Mustafar, he thought they came together to kill him.
@@rainefyre6750 Yeah, there's definitely some jealously there. Although its pretty clear Obi-Wan would never do such a thing, it wouldn't be out of character for Anakin to have that false idea, he was, after all, very paranoid throughout ROTS. It's not for nothing Anakin turns on his old master on Mustafar, it's the explosion of a series of personal grudges.
It's in the story that Anakin was jealous... negative emotions are a part and parcel of the Sith makeup. Anyway, there was nothing between Obi and Padme.

Hayden and Ewan are the most important thing about modern Star Wars. They just owned their characters. Disney needs to use them more especially Hayden Christensen who was not used enough in the Obi won series. Every scene that he was in was the best ones. Like I need Clone Wars flashbacks in the Ashoka series and Vader series or else I lost faith in Disney who had missed opportunity after missed opportunity in the Kenobi series

This was truly an episode of all time. My favorite part was when Obi-Wan said "It's Kenobin' Time!" and kenobed all over Darth Vader. I'm sure this show sold at least a kenobillion disney+ subscriptions and blew up in the box office. What a show!

I bought a disney+ account just for Obi-Wan the series. No, really it was for the entirety of the old characters and for my daughter's squeaking with joy while watching Obi-wan and Anakin. I will probably cancel the subscription now (for what disney did to Johnny Depp and all their woke thingy), but it was good to see them again.

This is the absolute best "bromance" in cinema history! I could watch them talk all day. So glad both reprised their roles. This is a huge treat for the Star Wars community. Thank you George Lucas for getting the ball rolling over forty years ago.

Yeah, there was no triangle, but Anakin was jealous. It's part and parcel of his fall into the dark side -- his negative emotions took over without any factual basis. I'm glad Josh asked this question and Ewan cleared it up once and for all. We get it from the horse's mouth. I also loved how he said would GL not have said something about it? Good stuff.

At last, someone posted photos of exactly when Hayden is in the Vader suit. I knew someone had said he was in it when he was viewed either from the waist up or using his hands in a scene. We all know Hayden would have loved being in the suit in every scene, but with all the baseless complaints on the series so far, someone would either complained about how the CGI was done or, even though CGI can't be totally unnoticed, someone would have complained about that. Hayden didn't need that. I'm fine with the two other actors doing the full body scenes.

I've always felt Anakin has more of a reason to be moody than Kylo, who had both parents. If Lucasfilm could provide us with some trauma in the future/past for Kylo as fuel for him going to the dark side, that would be cool.
Maybe you don't know this but Kylo had fairly absent parents and was raised by a nanny droid which was taken over by Snoke/Palpatine and tried to murder him. Snoke/Palpatine tried to "groom" him from when he was a toddler and he experienced a strong pull to the dark side, which he resisted all of his toddler and adolescent years. He was sent away to Uncle Luke because Han and Leia decided that his mentality needed help that THEY could not give. He was very emotionally attached to his father (Han) when he was a baby (Leia was also constantly away) but Han had difficulty feeling that he was a good father (maybe because he himself had had no father growing up). Once he was sent to Luke, Snoke doubled down on his efforts to turn him and we know the rest. Snoke was also an abuser and we saw some of this in the ST (and in deleted scenes). It's understandable that you don't know this because most of this is in the novelization and also another novel and the direction in the ST movies did not show enough of Kylo/Ben's motivation and background, which was stupid. This is Anakin's grandson and the only blood descendant of the Skywalker clan. It's like they decided to create a villain and give him this bloodline but didn't want to do anything else! It's bad writing and they suffered for it because he was a very popular character in the ST.

Bizarrely, randomly, I want to know if Ewan or Hayden have played Vader Immortal on VR. They've been in the movies but that game is like STEPPING INTO STAR WARS FOR REAL! I'd love to know how Hayden would feel, confronted with Vader or how either of them would fare in the lightsaber dojo.

I was a pre-teen when the prequels came out and they were not that great. The Obi-Wan series has really changed my mind about the importance of some of the plot points (even though I still don't enjoy much of the prequels). Great job, and here is hoping we will see more of them in the future. (even if its just as Force Ghosts in a far future where the Skywalkers aren't at the center of the story anymore)
I dont think that Disney want to make films about projects after Sequels in universe timeline. Maybe refilm sequels or make Old Republic trilogy

Poor guys, they are awesome actors & persons! But the show ... oh my God, what a disaster Disney, why?!. You had EVERYTHING, unlimited budget, all the actors still alive, the extended Universe, comics, animations, cartoons, EVERYTHING!! you don't even need to write a new story, just adapt something ... but no. You gave us this piece of junk. The script ... oh my goodness. This is worst than Last Jedi. Why? WHY?! YOU'RE TEARING ME APART OBI-WAN !!!

IMO some of the great moments make this show miles better than the sequels but your so right, the directing and especially the writing was just not good, at some points things really felt like a fan fiction and it’s a shame because they brought back some of if not the most beloved actors and characters of the franchise with a huge budget yet they couldn’t formulate a good story.
