34:05 - Imagine that as a cinematic. A squad of marines raid a Zerg base when they get a report the Swarm is coming. One of them sees the zerglings coming and shouts to the others. A dropship quickly drops down from the sky and opens its entry ramp, the Marines use grapple guns to hoist up onto it. Only eight of them make it, the last one's malfunctions and he's left on the ground. He runs after the airship shouting, the Zerg chasing after him. And ahead, growing distant, his comrades aboard the dropship look back at him sadly as the ramp closes.
The marine slowly stops and realizes he's been left behind. He feels the ground shake and looks over his shoulder, and sees an ultralisk coming at him, the Zerglings running about its feet. The marine grimaces, his visor closes, and he raises his rifle and opens fire, not letting up even as the Ultralisk reaches him and lists a massive foot over his head...

Exactly, it's basically sc1 cinematic. Also zerglings won't run over your feet. They'll run over you. They're only tiny in game.

Would be really interesting how Clem and Serral do in Code S, but I doubt it will ever happen. And Koreans historically haven't performed as well in international tournaments as they do in Korea. But at least it's good to see that Starcraft is still alive.

Mules should be limited on how many you can drop at once. Serral outplayed Clem and he just drops mules.

Terrans seem allergic to ravens, which is very weird. They could go hellbat + medivac to counter zerglings and add in ravens with some cyclones to destroy the larger units. Not only could you easily transition to this comp after a hellion harass but it would also save more energy to be used for mules (instead of constantly scanning the creep). Now that's something I would love to see!
Should be good vs. Roaches, too, since Cyclones are basically Mechanical Hydralisks and Hydras wreck Roaches and Hellbat+Cyclone approximates Roach+Hydra.
imagine how much more energy they would have from hundreds of wasted scans. lmao
@@bensiok They'd be so rich the map would be infested with turrets and fortresses.
It 's because Zerg would just click the Raven with 5 Corruptors and you cant hold on the Raven. Corruptors are ridiculously tanky. Ravens are too slow and micro intensive on top of ghosts and MMM , and mostly be used defensively against Zerg. That mean Zerg can just retreat when it use its ability.
I figure Clem could just Scan his location whenever the Zerg twitchs at his directions and it ahould be good. Asingle fungal is not good if there is no army around to take advantage of it.

Im hands down to Clem's intuition on the lurker drop , if zergling wasnt there , Clem would manage to kill some of it.
I think Serral shouldve gone for broodlord even swarm host when Clem started turtling.

Been watching you for years @Lowko, this was honestly one of your most blind/Serral-biased casts I've seen in a LONGG time. I'd say you've been very good about it over the past 2 years. Breaking it down:
- Outside of the early game, Clem was hands down stomping Serral through the entire match, Lowko:
- "I favor Serral in this type of match", instead of seeing what's happening in the game based on merit of cost-efficiency, position, and tech it seemed like you were somewhat blindly picking the person who you wanted to win based on his "GOAT" status. I don't disagree that Serral is the GOAT, in this cast though you let that title outweight your analysis of the state of the game.
- "Serral's using the banes to zone the Terran ground army" => No, Clem out played Serral and moved/split faster than Serral and Serral missed. He wasn't trying to zone him, he was trying to connect and he got outplayed.
- "I don't like this at all" => You don't like this for your favorite player in the world.
- "It's starting to look desprate for Serral" around @26:00. It's been looking desperate since the @19:00 minute mark after he's lost to Clem's fantastic chokes, and even dropped a base to his pushes.
- "it's still a disaster for the Frenchman" => he lost like 3 ghosts and made perfect pickups while taking down more corrupters.
The game was amazing, but this was less analytical than you normally are. Hope you stay focused on the merit of the game rather than worry about who's "supposed" to win in the future. Takes away from fantastic plays of other players when you cough it up to "Serral doing bad" instead of "Clem doing amazing". This game wasn't close, it was stomp by Clem and he deserved that level of appreciation in this game.
Hey @lowko, have you tried doing a series with each game being a video and then ordering them in a playlists? It might spoil the result, but might be a way to please all audiences. I do like long videos os SC2, but usually split viewership of a long one across different moments in the day and stop at the end of a game in general. Thanks for the content!!

I just love ZvT because of the many, many little skillchecks. The first reaper can get a kill or not. 1 1 timing might deal some dmg, a nice bane bust deletes a mineral line. All those create advantages, but none big enough to be game deciding. And so it is always a back and forth. One person holds the advantage, then messes up and has to play safe. You are just always on your toes on how and when the next engagement is coming

I remember watching a Serral vs Clem match back when Serral was in one of his eras where he was unbeatable. It was almost a forgone conclusion that Serral would win any match he played, but Clem just kept his head and dismantled Serral piece by piece.
