Hello joyful cook i commented on your chin chin recipe but there was no response. The bulk recipe for Christmas chinchin. Can i double the ingredients for more quantity please?
Pls what is that gray paste you put in? What is it made of?
Ogiri. You can ask for it in the market. It stinks but great in soup.
Ofe gi nwelu ego dear!!!
This is Ijeoma watching from imo state
My dearest joyful cook, as a home breed Anambra lady, I didn't know that snails can be used in Ofe Onugbu. Such a surprise.
Could you make another video that the soup is thicker and more red with oil? Perhaps add a little akwu.
Thank you.
Now i must eat ofe Onugbu today.
Kam gbadagodi Ani first.
“Ogiri isi” is made from fermented Castor oil seed,(the one of locust beans is quite different, not the same smell)then grinded into paste & tied in local leaves for sale. You can get it in any market in Nigeria. Just ask.
Can't i just peel the cocoyam first before cooking?
exact recipe i use in cooking mine but i dnt put much ogiri..tnx 4sharing
That ogiri is the koko . I was also making it in a large quantity
