I liked how Wrecker Rick confirmed that how Allen with Yankum Rope and Casey LaDelle of Cascade Heavy Rescue showed that no mater the size of the vehicle being pulled or the size doing the pulling that with the proper set up of the offset snatch block rings you can do the same job as if you had the correct equipment on hand.
If it got the job done, how was it not the correct equipment? 😀
Ron Pratt with Midwestern truck in Missouri posted a video of him & his dad pulling a Uhaul van out of a worse spot, a couple of years ago, I believe it was a 1,200 lb winch on a side by side that pulled it out.
@Chevyman02 Yes, it was, and it was raining at that time. If I remember correctly, I follow Ron as well
Yeah, like the 'block and tackle' they used to raise massive sails on the old sailing ships. I seem to recall Casey la Delle winching a snowmobile that went of a steep edge in the forest by human power alone for the start of the pull.
Somewhere in Florida there's a guy swearing he hates casey LaDelle and wrecker rick😂
Nothing like the beauty of the Arizona high desert
I love the way Rick knows how to set up all these cables!
Rick! You are the MAN!! Loved the bowline bit 😎 much respect for a man that knows his knots!
Being from the old school dinosaur steel cable and metal snatch block generation. I am impressed with the lightweight and double pulley power of the new stuff. Hopefully injuries will be reduced. I still have my old school stuff with some soft shackles. Excellent recovery I knew you could do it.
Another awesome save by wrecker Rick and Bailey slings and your amazing snatch block rigging you definitely killed it on this one!!!
Wait wait wait. I thought that fool in Florida said that winch ring setup would destroy the winch line. To me, it looks like it worked just fine for you and Casey LaDelle. Good job.
When you get right down to the tuna and beans, sometimes you just gotta get a blumpy in the rain while boning a cactus 🌵🎉
Heyyy hope everyone at murphys towing had a happy holidays! 🤘🏻😎❤️
Where was this person going ? Some people never cease to amaze
I enjoyed the line setup and manufacture of each piece. Very nice 👌
Thank you very much!
WRECKER RICK I'm always impressed with your rigging knowledge!! BE SAFE
Another recovery by wrecker rick and crew great job ,thank you for showing us another way to get the job done, nicely done professionalism at its best 👍👍👍
Glad you enjoyed it
You should see how they teach you the importantance of snatch blocks in the military. Go get a hummer stuck and use nothing but man power to get unstuck
Wrecker Rick, I saw the vid with Casey from Cascade breakdown the Yankum snatch rings. And to be honest after rigging that up and the line parting I thought you were just going to pull it out by hand lol. Brother they broke the mold when they made you. Class act just getting the job done. Your content is great and you have a bunch of great people around you from what I've seen. Take care be safe out there, Hello from Michigan.
Greg
That was some math there! Good job.
Thanks!
Damn i wish i woulda filmmed my general pulling a ram 1500 out of the snow in the cinders haha that 3/8 line does wonders
Dang Son You Got $15,000 in yank em ropes in there !
With enough snatch blocks, you can do anything.
good old snatch block action
Thats quite the block set up.
Now there's an pro rigging job, how to maximize what you got and stay safe.
This was a first for me ... GREAT Rigging Job.. Rick and Team can do it all. TKS RICK another job well done.
Patiently waiting for hellboy
Rick a few years back when Ron Pratt’s Dad Bill was still alive they recovered a stolen uhaul van out of a national forest with their side by side they had to spin it 135 degrees on a 4 part line
I hit the like already because it's gonna be a banger.
Nice how you did that with that side by side.
The master in his rope element.
These recovery's are getting dangerous at 2:42 when your customer got out of his truck he forgot to zip up his fly after jerking the worm. That dirty little bugger. Ok rick get real was that really a call. That is as funny as hell. Only you guys. Love it Im a Murphy's Diesel fan for life. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I once saw a video where a guy riĝged a 9 to 1 block and tackle set up and could pull a pick up truck by hand although very slowly.
Hell yeah, Yankam ropes
Hell Yeah 😊
I forgot how much I enjoy ur channel keep up the great content lol Like u need me to say anything LOL
Deal!
I'm fairly certain you have summoned the internet winching demons from their parents basements
Flat landers🚙... shoulda stayed on the blacktop!!!
Nice little winch job Rick!🤠🤠🤠
Omg drive it out Ricky . Show that youngster
Cool beans
This was super simple way to get the job done with a little knowledge of hat your doing got to bring my big red monster by the shop today got to see hellboy much bigger in person it’s hard to tell in the videos didn’t get to meet any of the crew bummer
Sorry they are all on a huge pileup on the interstate! Thanks for stopping by and sorry we missed you! Come back again.
Yeah wanted to get some gear maybe a hat or two but place was pretty dead yeah I think I got lucky and missed all the chaos
you understand.
Archimedes would have been proud
That’s what I need some of those donuts
Doesn't look bad. Should be a cake walk.
Here in the netherlands we have a d i y shop that advertise: it cant be the materials because they are from us.
In this case: if you cant free a car/truck you did not use yankum😉.
That guy probably has a bad abs sensor or something. Didn't seem like bld was working once you got it off the frame. It was acting like an open diff with no traction control.
Triple pulley or equivalent good job
👍
Why did the Old Guy have to do all the work?
Goes back to old bull young bull 😂😂😂LoL young bull stands at top of hill tells old bull let's run down there screw us one them heifer old Bull says no let's walk down there screw all them heifers Rick is old Bull T is Young bull 😂😂😂😂😂😂
is that a 6:1 ratio?
Y'all going to Matts off road heavy recker games?
We entered up, have not got a response
Hope you boys get in and represent Arizona @@MURPHYSDIESEL
come on Rick should have gotten WESTERN and bin out!!!!!!!
Y u sponsor by both tow ropes when u use Baileys more
Great job!! Crazy deal. Nice to see side by side tough rig for the size!!
Thanks👍🏻😎👉🏻
Thanks 👍
Rick you should inspect your rope after pulling thru those donuts, you mal find your distorying your rope
They will be fine.
Casey lad Elle did a whole video on that discussion.. and you can see they don’t, it’s a good lil informative vid about the donuts and the synth ropes and d/d ratio and all that chit
Nice setup and a great job guys
Thanks! 👍
Technically your 6k lbs winch & almost double "0.479999999" in pulling power from the snatch-block got the heavier vehicle out,,,,,,, Ok & your problem solving ability helped. I would of just brought a MH-60 pave-hawk & lifted in a Humvee pulled it out then air lifted them both out. You know,,, just to flex 😅😅 they call me Light AF instead of Heavy,,,,, oh never mind😂
Nice job.
Thanks!
👍🏻👍🏻🇳🇴
Watch out Wrecker Rick, the Casey Ladelle haters are gonna come for you😂
Let these guy s go to scool and learn the physics of pulling power on crane s ropes etc. As long as no one states that he works for mammoet ... Years and disagree you are safe😉.
Why didn’t you just drop the pressure and drive it out…..🤓
Nice job, but I’m sitting here wondering who would order a 2 wheel drive Jeep in the first place? I think I think too much.
You and me both!
Perhaps somebody who could not pay the rig you say he should buy but needed a car? Perhaps he/she took the wrong exit/turn?
I cant speak for your country but in mine there is a lot of hidden poverty. People need a free grocery project support to make ends meet. They were wrongly accused of fraude of government allowances. The government used algorithms to get their facts. Result: people are heavily in dept, lost their home etc. Now the court issues that they were illegally fined it takes years to get their money back.
There is a reason why this car is here. Ask the driver, and then we know what went wrong. Not all faults are stupidity.
Don't pee on the ground that keep won't ever get out
Love the show. What am I missing? Why don't you have a larger unit to take care of this? If you had a larger unit, you guys wouldn't need to mess around with the snatch blocks and also double the amount of the line. Wire rope or synthetic rope. Yes, it's neat that you can use something smaller and gain a mechanical advantage. Why not just bring bring the correct piece of equipment. It's takes longer to make the recovery back to solid ground. The bill was probably bigger because you had all that time rigging blocks and double the amount of line. I'm not trying to abuse your company. I love your company. I just can't see how it was the chosen piece of equipment. There might be somethings that I don't know about the situation. Such as where you were at when you got the call and what equipment was available and thinking it's a small vehicle and you can use something smaller. I just don't know why you took that out to do that. Yes, again. I'm a seasoned operator with 20 plus years as a wreck master in northern Illinois. Be safe😊
He’s making a point, he has every size rig imaginable
It made for a good show
More comments he gets More money he makes more content he has More videos he makes better publicity LoL 😂😂😂start your own CZcams so we can pick you apart I've been doing heavy tow for over 35 years sometimes it's just nice to show off your skills 😊
Did you want him to take one of the Rotators out there? - He'd probably find a way too 🙂
Why would he want to go and do that.high center it
Hey it wasn't a F-150 this time 😅 .... you stay classy jeep..stuck in a little dirt .. impersonating a Toyota 😊
Thanks for the view
The Jeep was still stuck when the video ended…looks like a failed recovery.
🙄
That piece of junk would get stuck on dry pavement.
DONT HEAVY T KNOW HOW TO RIG UP YET ?? MY 12 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER DOES IT.
💪
By the way, who the fuck buys a 2 wheel jeep?
A dumbass 😂😂😂
Can you make a John deer gator (6wheel) with a boom to recover 4 wheelers ?
Maybe
