I think if we want to progress again we need better players than average ones. We are now a champions league team and need to have that mindset. We need to sell a few to strengthen and I think a few players will go that may surprise us. Ramsey & Luiz might be 2 big money outs but let’s see, hopefully we get business done nice and early.

I like him and the buy back clause is decent but with the players we have at the club and other potential options to improve the squad in the market I don't think he's one we'll be getting. I wouldn't be disappointed if we did get him though if that makes sense.
Couldnt agree more, there are some much better players out there. I dont think he improves us for the champions league either.
I really like Zaniolo - there’s a top player in there. But he’s hit and miss - only been a squad player for the Villa and next season I guess the squad will be even stronger - so, fewer chances to play. As you say Emi B will be back. Also it looks like Yilmaz may be Unai’s preferred Galatasaray player … ?
I think he’s too hot and cold for the prem, type of player that can thrive in a Serie A etc! Emi B far better and looks like an Emery player… 🤔🦁 also that’s an interesting link that won’t go away 👀
If Emery wants him, we can afford him and his wages are sensible, that’s good enough for me.

Hmmm, I wonder due to the length of his contract and him being at another champions league club if they would allow him to go for a sensible price for a rotation option!
