- Doing lots of research on a broad-range of anti-theft devices and stumbled across this one on Amazon. For 22 bucks I said, "why not!" and ordered it.
We test it and give you our honest feedback. We are not sponsored and not afraid to return this bad boy and let you know its poop poop. But after you watch the video and if you want to give it a shot, here is the link.

Great presentation!
Glad you liked it!
A waste management driver (garbage truck driver), saw me putting a similar one, he stopped and laughed.
He said if thieves really really want your car they break-in, immediately pop the hood and cut 12V power. Cooking or engine oil is placed on the ground to slide the car into a flatbed.
He told me when he started his job on WM he used to call the police, after a while he saw so many cars been stolen, he stopped as it got old quick.
The device kinda works, but when they want an ordered vehicle, the thieves will take it.
He mentiones sometimes they know the location of the battery cables and cut from underneath if possible.
He is right but any extra obstacle for a potential thief is a headache and buys time for the good guys.
so easy to use it every time we park....it also provides peace of mind
I agree! Thank you for your feedback and watching the video.
Hm.. orcrazy01 makes a good point. Other than that, I feel like it's thief stopping power depends on what they need the car for. If they just want a car for free transportation, maybe they'll risk trashing the inside (or even have something to break that, can't tell how strong it is), but if they're trying to take a car to sell it then this could be a deterrent for more exotic cars like the NSX.
The skit at the beginning was awesome!!
Definitely depends on the skill level of the thief but in my opinion anything “additional” helps. The skit was fun 🤩
Was looking to buy that, good thing I've found this video. Thanks for heads up 👍
Glad I can help.
Van got stolen last week with this thing on. They just pried it off and it's still usable
I'm sorry to hear that. I think no matter what you have on your car security wise, there is a method to still circumvent it. I believe it all depends on the skill level of the thief. For most thieves, they will move on if anything seems to be more trouble than the usual car which includes seeing a device like this. I can only say that to be careful where you part and if you can, install a kill switch.
I saw a guy rip one of these before he even sat in the car to nick it…there is a type like it with drill resistant lock & another bar that goes over the horn area..it’s an L shape but folds.
hm, I will have to look into those, do you know the model name or brand?
That's pretty cool! If you turned the steering wheel and locked one of the narrower steering wheel 'loops' to the top it could work even better!
KP!!! Dude! That makes sense! I didn’t even think about doing that. Thanks for watching the vid KP, Hope all is well man. We need to catch up. 🙂🙂🙂
Frustrated car thiefs who spot this in a vehicle won’t steal the car….they will simply key the paint job or slash the tires. Yep, modern society.
Scratches can be fixed. A lost car is usually totaled.
I'd get a yellow NSX, have that wrapped in red wrap and leave it on.
But what if you got a silver NSX?
Could you not rotate it back over the wheel and drive
Some cars you can.
Hi,
I have recently purchased a steering wheel antitheft lock - T shaped.
Due to inside structure, it goes hanging towards driver seat and do not rest on the dashboard i.e.towards mirror.
Is it advisable to keep the weight hanging like this on steering wheel ? Lock weight is 900 grams. Please advise.
Hello, does the locking device make contact with something in the car’s dash? Ideally you do not want it to hang but rest on the dash. If it does not seem right, I would return it.
it wont fit if you are using a steering wheel cover
Good info to know. Sorry it did not work out for you.
I just bought one cause I got a KIA! 😆 🤣 😂
Hey, gotta protect your stuff. Kia has some nice cars man.
It's not a lot of work to put on especially if it deters thieves.
True!!!
Looks like it should be longer. 🤔🤔🤔
It doesn't fit every car. I think if it was longer, it might fit less but you are right that it does not fit car because of it's length.
got the same 1 and I lost my key I'm here in the car crying cuz my steering wheel is locked
A lock smith can remove it. It happens. Don’t sweat it. Just five roadside a call and hang out till then.
@@DriversTherapy omg I'm now seeing this I haven't drove in 3 days. I'll call them Monday
@@fxtryl I honestly don’t know
Yeah that's good don't protect your car every time you park that's asking too much
I am confused by the statment?
That steering wheel lock are so cheap that with a screwdriver, you can break it to remove.
Oh, have you tried that?
@@DriversTherapyyou can check other youtube channel test those just break it too easy..those are professional thief..they need with alarm sound for more secure
Toyota tacoma 2012 ?
Give it a try! I’m sure it works on a tacoma
With a drill takes 20 seconds
Been tested against a drill. No effective.
I bought this one but. The key hole got jammed and unable to open
Your return it or conact them via Amazon, or worse case, order a new one and send that one back.
How do you return it if it’s stuck on your wheel? 😂 I’m dealing with the exact same issue as we speak. Was looking for videos on how to get the piece of shit off??
Cut the steering wheel so easy
Those extra seconds it takes to do that can lead to an arrest.
@@DriversTherapythose not take long time those are pro thief otherwise they have with alarm sound that it better..
