2)Total Languages - 4 (Kannada, Telugu, Malayalam and Tamil)
3)State Capitals and Demonyms :-
Karnataka - Bengaluru | Kannadigas or Canarese
Andhra Pradesh - Hyderabad (Amaravathi is in construction) | Andhraites
Telangana - Hyderabad | Telanganites or Telangees
Tamil Nadu - Chennai | Tamilians
Kerala - Thiruananthpuram (Trivandrum) | Mallyalees or Keralites
Ethnicity - Dravidian (some are crossed with Aryans)
All the south Indian states have ocean coast, except Telangana
Though Idli and Dosa is the most common food, it is not limited up to that. Pongal, Bhisi Belly Bhath, Appam, Hyderabadi Dum Biryani and so on.
The literacy rate of South India is way better than that of North. Similar about roads and infrastructure.
South India is comparatively better in terms of cleanliness and nature beauty.

Many of them ( not all) think that Indian culture is old fashion they don't give importance to their State they think whole India is their country. Well you are right many of them don't know much about the political life of south India maybe they are not interested in politics. But they ( including me) love the Telugu movies specially bahubali ....But I wish I was born in malayali community in Kerala.

one more thing the south indians may be regularly hearing from others is that telugu malayalam kannada and tamil sounds same languages

Unicorn Tales there were no Maharashtra, Gujarat, states in British India. They were (mostly) under Bombay presidency. Parts of Karnataka and Sindh too belonged to Bombay presidency during times of British India. But No Gujarati or even a Marathi is ever called a 'Bombay wallah'. Bombay was once capital of 3 - 4 states which belonged to Western India. Calling South Indians as Madrasis is as wrong as calling a Gujarati as a Bombay walah.
Nope that's not true at all! Kerala was NEVER under madras, it was princely states until 1947 and then a separate Travancore-Cochin State from 1947 to 1957 until State's Re organisation Act was promulgated!! Please get your facts checked before posting!
