    Thank you for that, I was playing as Hungary and planned to invade Austria earlier, but then I got my ass kicked cause I didn't know about all of this. I'll try this next time I play.

    OMFG! Ever since the game came out, I've assumed that you need to activate your battle plan to get the bonus, and I'm old school. I like to micro my divisions. That is a game changer for me!

    • @ESG1
      @ESG1  Před rokem

      Make sure the battle plan is on the same front as the war. That applies the planning bonus to combat.

    This is great! I now understand so much regarding how land combat works! If you can do this for both air and navel that would be wonderful! (maybe even some help with construction and production since I tend to get overwhelmed with those as well)

      Updated naval guide coming out soon. I may do another air guide… not sure. Check out my YT channel for more guides.

      Shoot, I have so much content I can't remember. This video may be helpful: czcams.com/video/kmjEMsl0QYw/video.html. If I explain the battle plan buttons, it is most likely in the later half of the video. Cheers!

      @@ESG1 thanks ill try it
      in the older version of the game there was a way to get a division to attack an area but not move in after victory

    • @ESG1
      @ESG1  Před 2 lety

      @@derfvader6951 You can manually click on the unit and do a ctrl right click for a support attack. The support attack will do what you describe above. You can tell because it will have a blue arrow, instead of a red arrow.

    my man. if a color is bright (also nominally flashing) than it means only that the air wing you have selected is in that zone. not that it is a higher degree or tier of that color

    How the piercing calculates and affects ?

    • @ESG1
      @ESG1  Před 2 lety

      From the wiki: Piercing. Represents the ability of a division to pierce armor and pin down armored forces, restricting the movement. If the value is higher than the enemy's armor value, then the division suffers no penalty to its attacks. A division's piercing is equal to 40% of the highest piercing in the division plus 60% of the weighted-average piercing of all battalions in the division.

    the thing I am wondering
    when in a 80 widht fight ( old system)
    you have 5 division ( 20 widht)
    enemy has 4 divisions (20 widht)
    without modifiers and different direction attack
    that 1 exstra division you have is reserve
    so it doesnt do anything unless joinnig combat
    but when in a fight 5 divisions wins how is this happening but when I attack with 4 division same combat width it loses does reserves give combat bonuses I am really confused

    • @ESG1
      @ESG1  Před rokem

      The reserve division could be reinforcing when the rest run out of org. There are a lot of factors at play. Maybe try 42 width tank divisions in stacks of 2 and see how that works out.
