Hello! I apply at amazon for job seasonal in Connecticut. They don't hire me because there are some " safety questions" absolutely I must answer 2 on 3. Can you help me with some question safety?
Just wanted to say thank you! I watched A LOT of your videos and was offered an L-6 position at a brand new sort facility. I applied several times and finally got an interview. I watched a lot of your content before I went to panel. I prepared over 30 pages of STAR stories. The panel was challenging and I loved it. I’m so happy!
I am an entry level employee at Amazon fulfillment and been here a year. Packing and all the other entry level jobs in that area. Very generic, easy, and boring work but I see the importance of it all. Applied for Process Assistant position and did the interview. Three questions based on customer obsession, a past goal and how achieved, and name a failure and consequences. Used Star method had past situations ready and felt like I did pretty good. Even interviewers said they got what they needed and it was great, BUT he wanted answers all based on experience while at Amazon. This floored me. Because the work is so easy, generic and mindless all my answers would be empty. As a good worker doing what comes natural puts you so far ahead of the rest doing this job. A goal would be wanting to get the new position. Customer obsession would be I pack fast to get orders out the door. A failure? How would I have answered these and they get anything meaningful based on 1 year of work at the warehouse?
Great questions. As your industry experience is with Amazon it made sense that they were digging to see if you are a fit and has all the LPs. The expectation is not having every answer for an L4 role, rather, what did you learned and what value have you added?
Hi Holly, I wished I had come across your site earlier. I have an interview with AWS tomorrow and I've learnt so much just from watching your content the past 2 days. Thanks so much Holly. I'm just so in love with your energy, generosity and authenticity.
Hi Holly! Thank you for your awesome videos. I studied and took notes for my interview by watching your videos. I really liked the STAR method. This was something I have never done before and it worked to gain my focus to write the question down before answering the question. The three step interview went great. I just received my offer letter for my position as a Safety Specilaist! Thanks again!
Hi Martin, I have my first interview tomorrow for Health and Safety Specialist position, can you please give me some more information about the first call? In the invitaion mail it does not say phone screening, it just says 45 minutes call with the recruiter. Should I expect questions regarding LPs or is it just about my previous experiences? Hope you see my message :)
I didn’t get hired on with Amazon but the interview experience was well worth it. I’m now with a smaller company working as a manger. I felt that Amazon prepared me to be a better interviewee in the long run.
What qualifications and experience did you have prior to getting the interview. Sheesh you must be a stand-out candidate if you got chose for an interview by AWS. Pretty impressive dude

I am watching your videos, this is the second one, I am about to binge watch all day during work. I work for Amazon but applied internally for an IT support associate position and prepping for the interview process. This is fantastic information and if I get the position I am going to send you a gift because this type of information is priceless and I appreciate you, your knowledge, experience, tips, and the time you are dedicating out of your day to help strangers. God bless you and have a great day Holly
You give such amazing advice, and the way you present and talk is clear and easy to understand. I am sharing your resource with other students and candidates who are looking for work at Amazon and other companies. Your channel is a one stop for everything you need to know to be well informed, and in the know, and make sure to focus on the talents we already have but now will know how to talk about them better in an interview. Please know everything word you say has an impact and it is helping! thank you
I was literally commenting on another member, that I like to create content strategically for younger professionals to understand. If I start throwing out corporate phrases, then, I would have left out those who doesn't have experience working in the big tech companies.
Great info. I worked for Apple for 4 years and I can relate to some of these questions. You give me some updated insight on how Wow them in the interview. Ty!

Thank you so much for this Holly! I have an interview next week and I'm going to watch ALL of your videos. A recruiter reached out to me for a job I hadn't applied for. And I'm kind of worried if I will be able to answer the questions well enough, even though it's a role I haven't done before. Do you have any advice on how to prepare?

You got so much good advice but do you have examples for people who are applying for a job, say for example an entry-level IT at Amazon, but has only discovered that this is the career path that he/she wants to take but doesnt have credentials at all?
Hi Holly! I just want to thank you for your videos and tips. I'm not a developer, but today I had an interview with a big company for a dream job and I prepared myself with your tips and it really helped me. I don't know if I'm going to get the job, it's still too early in the process to tell, but I was prepared for the interview. So thank you sincerely.

But in another one you mention that a common mistake is to speak about yourself too much and forgot to mention the other people and you may look like full of yourself. Do you have any tips on how to talk about your achievements without sounding egocentric? thank you for all your help
