I finished my Loop interviews last Thursday for a Sr. Finance position and did very well thanks to watching all of your Interview Strategy playlist! I'm very glad I prepared 12 stories with multiple LPs even though my recruiter recommended 8. My recruiter messaged back on Tuesday saying they're working on an offer and eagerly awaiting the details :) Is there room for me to negotiate base compensation for a L5 position? I was told L6 is easily attainable for my role after two years so don't want to stretch too far during negotiations, thanks!

Hello, 3 days after my Amazon LOOP interview, I received an Email from the recruiter congratulating me on the positive feedback for my interview, but unfortunately unable to offer me the position because someone else filled the position. I noticed that the position was no longer available even before my LOOP. They said that they will put me in the bench pool and that if available position comes, they will contact all the people in the bench pool before making the position public. I am worried, hope they will remember to get back to me? I practiced really so hard for this LOOP

Yes, hundreds of thousands of jobs get added to the market every quarter/half/year but those numbers and stats are easy to pad or manipulate for appearances. Much of the time they're posted with plans to hire internally anyway, and thousands of those new jobs are jobs that no one wants or have higher turnover. I mean, I guess the world needs janitors and bus drivers, too.

Hi Holly. I've been watching your video for interview preparation and recently finished the loop at Amazon. The recruiter got back to me saying the entire team was inclined and I'm in the offer ready stage. However, the position I applied for was filled by an internal candidate before my debrief. The recruiter said he doesn't have any role open on his hand to fill me in but he'll reach out to other hiring managers, and encouraged me to find similar roles I would be intersted in. I wonder if you are familiar with this situation, and if there's anything else I need to do other than contacting my recruiter for other similar positions. Thanks again for the great content!

I provided my range. Do you think is possible to negotiate even though I provided with a salary range and the offer is within the provided range. MY THOUGHTS ARE THAT 90%-95% OF CANDIDATES THEY HAVE A MENTAL REJ/ACCEPT FOR UNLESS THE INTVW GOES EXTREMELY GOOD OR BAD- IT'S ONLY THE 5%-10% WHO MAKE THE INTV A REAL DECISIVE FACTOR

That explains a lot thank you. My recruiter change to a different person and that person is responding I got my offer in march 2023 I’ll be start in August 2024 now so I was patient they will catch if they missed you

lol amazon are only in a rush when it comes to pack rates. when it comes to looking for a different role, they are slow. 1 month later and my application is still under consideration. as for packing, I have tried moving up from packing, but you always get the same, nothing available, ask next month ect.. then nothing happens and that manager is gone.

My two very good friends who are still working at AWS and one of them is HM and the other one BR, say that this advice is to be "enjoyed" with utmost caution. They say that if candidate they would be interviewing sticks to 60 sec stories would be immediate red flag and it would be considered that candidate is not able to talk at length.

Hello. I'm from Brazil. I applied for a senior process engineering position in Germany but the recruiter mentioned that no internacional relocation is provided. I just had the phone interview. I decided to continue the process. Do you think it can be changes during the final negotiation?

I got a call from amazon 3 days after my loop interviews stating “Congratulations team feels you are a strong fit, we just dont have a position right now, we will give a letter of intent. You dont have to reloop but u need to wait unless we find you a home”. I am kinda confused! What is letter of intent! When will i get an actual offer letter? I see lots of amazon positions open in LinkedIn, not sure why would they cannot place me on the role i applied for. I was happy to hear the word “ congratulations “ after all the interview rounds. It was pretty fast , I really appreciate it. However, really upset to hear no offer yet! I turned down another FAANG offer as i was really looking forward to working with aws. 😒. Hope it all works out nicely. Can u please help me understand what is letter or intent?

In case anyone is wondering if these videos are helpful I would just like to share my experience. I come from working at a very small company but decided to give it a go and apply for a position at Amazon. I prepared for almost 3 weeks before my first call all the way through my last full loop and I was able to get an offer in 2022. Most of the people in my team have masters and come from prestigious universities like Harvard, Columbia and Oxford. Myself with a mere bachelor’s degree from a state school nobody has heard about would have made me to not even try to apply for this position but listening to every video I could from Holly absolutely made the biggest difference in preparing and showing up as my best self to every interview. I wish everyone the best of luck on your upcoming interviews ❤

Hi Holly. You are doing a great job.kudos to you 🫶🫶. I have a question . I was interviewed by amazon for a security engineer position. Cleared phone screening and was scheduled for loop interview. Before my loop interview my recruiter called and said : if i clear loop round they will give me an intent letter: not an offer letter . What does that mean! I follow your videos and am preparing for loop interview . However, i got demoralized that even if I clear , i would not get offer but just an LOI ( letter of intent). What should I do?

Good info but the video editing is seriously lacking. Multiple times I thought the video was skipping ahead because sentences were cut mid-stream.
