Imagine losing your only chance to escape just because you wanted to say "I told you so"
I agree it's a bad ending. Glad I didn't watch it in full. I think maybe he finds they are on Mars or something like that .That would be better ending
Lol I can imagine it with the way streamers are these days...
Or to help the others
lol 😂
Well, if he fluked it, he can go through it and find a way to do it on demand, then let everyone else know so they can all leave.
bro almost touched grass, but chat didn't let him 💀
The fact that he was hesitating while checking the outside tells you he's comfortable inside...
He liked it, like he said. Seems easier to get money there then on any other streaming site. Food, water, shower and then go full gaming. Perfect life 😂
It’s because he said his life outside felt meaningless
@@zlotywest860 Truth, the beginning would be hard, until you get a gaming pc, and you can stream video games, since in the movie nobody is doing it then you'll probably be the main streamer. I wouldn't mind tbh, give me youtube, and netflix or something similar and i'm set for life 😂
@@GregNeedsFriends😂😂😂😂
An introverts dream. I would miss the outside though so idk it would be difficult in that regard. I wouldnt miss people in general though.
It's basically the average day for a twitch streamer
Except most of them turns into cheap reaction nowadays
Except they get to enjoy life.
tbh twitch viewers are even more pathetic. At least the streamers are getting that money.@bzyspecial

Not at all, dude. Try some critical thinking homeboy.
Watching this movie until the end would've pissed me off. Thank you Recaps!
i was about to watch it on movie box and seen this comment lmao im good now
Ty was about to go watch it :/ I'll just stay here
I liked the movie but the ending was bad.
Jesus loves you :::
Just watching this recap pissed me off. That's 10 minutes of my life i'm never gonna get back
the number of people who just don't understand that the ending is to show that he was confortable and he liked being inside.... and it's also a way to show how we are addicted to our devices...
And that how no matter how trapped we feel in our lives, somehow the unknown is always scarier...
But he goes to the screen to tell the others there is a way out. If he had just stepped outside, the others would just have noticed that he was gone and possible assumed he was dead. If he had gone to the screen because his points went up, I would have agreed, but he went there to help the people who were as confined as he was.
Also, the door opened when he was having a breakdown, so maybe the way to escape was to show how devastated you really were instead of keeping on the performance?
9:02 mf just walk out 😭🙏
his half white side didnt allow it 😂😊

😂Why did I think about Mr Beast 2 mins into this video I literally was just thinking of what scenarios he would come up with in this situation😂🤦🏽♀️
Whoever makes the best slave room wins $186,500
I’m surprised this is even a movie. Judging by the ending, i thought it was a episode of an anthology series.
Just say black mirror

It reminds me of 15 million merits episode
"Cut her hair as a sign of rebellion"
Okay
this is actually pretty close to a true story about a Japanese man who got himself into a gameshow where he had to stream everything 24/7 for months on end while trapped inside a room with nothing and it was torturous. penguinz0 made a cool video on it.
oh yeah, didnt this happen twice to him??
@@matthiaspeeters4104 yeh they did it once and felt like they could make more money out of him so they continued the torture another time...
@@the_simplicity name of episode?
@@marshmallownoob6919its real life
There's a documentary about it on Hulu called The Contestant. It covers his experience in the show pretty well, and it goes a bit in to what he made of his life after. Great guy.
The name of the movie is called: Share (2023)
Thank you. I had to scroll far to find this out.
@@ladydulaneyxD I ended up scrolling further, I missed this person's comment the first go around but I was gonna go comment and let other ppl know the name too
Looks like a good "Black Mirror" episode to me.
Love the concept, but for a full lenght movie? I still have my reservations but I might give it a go.
This happened to a Japanese guy but he had to submit to magazine sweepstakes to get things
theres a movie recap on the movie adaptation of it as well, but ye it actually happened
oh man. that was horrible. i remember watching penguinz/moist critical's video on it
Ok but will any of you give us the name of that Japanese guy or the movie adaptation??
@@randominoh the Japanese guys name is Nasubi I can’t remember the name of the show. It was a 24hr live stream and he had to enter into magazine sweepstakes to get items to survive. He wasn’t allowed to leave the apartment at all.
@@saltyc165 wheres the recap
The ending reminds me of a scene from the movie, This Is The End...
James Franco taunted Danny McBride and got rejected entry into Heaven. 🤣
The actor is Melvin Gregg, good ol' Viner
I was gonna ask, wasn't he once a famous viner ? Ty ig you answered beforehand 😅
I think the ending has a deeper meaning, the hesitant wait and the running back to his viewers and streamers saying "see we can achieve anything." instead of using that opportunity to escape made the door close.
He meant "we can achieve freedom", did he not? He wanted to let the others know that escape is possible instead of being selfish, escaping and leaving the others in the dark. At least that would be my interpretation. He did return to the screen to give the other prisoners hope, not to gain some more points.
@@Fidi987so is selfish if you save yourself and be free an possible to help the cops find this place
wtf was that ending???
Goofy ending😂
Nice cliffhanger for a serial.
Maybe he didn't really want to leave?
A "lesson" on how people miss the important things because they record them.
They ran out of plot
as soon as that door opened, i would have ran and never said a word
I get from an evil organization standpoint including an incineration feature to the prison rooms since it means they can easily reset them for new prisoners but making it so that the prisoners can torch one another on a whim seems a tad stupid and extremely violent
I think this is meant to be a take on Plato's Allegory of the Cave.
Thank you for the recap! 😁
Loved the ending. Can’t take everyone with you when you leave. If you try you’ll miss your opportunity. But if he left he could’ve come back for them, just like with financial success or fame.
So, the message is "be selfish, do not care about others"?
@@Fidi987 No. The message is, *take your chance when it appears.* You've done your work before that, and when the door opens FOR YOU, you go first. Others who are watching you will be motivated to follow behind you, unless they are already succumbed to the caged lifestyle in the first place.
That black guy is an internet star. He used to make comedy skits for CZcams and facebook.
He kinda looks like Manslay3r 🤔 it's not him right?

It's Melvin Gregg he got famous on Vine
This is a future dystopia of CZcams lol
It’s already happened in real life to a Japanese man named Nasubi. For 15 months he was in a small room being broadcasted to millions of viewers and had to use random sweepstakes to earn food and comfort. He was isolated for so long that by the time they moved him to another small room he immediately did what he was told to do in the beginning without anyone having to tell him to do it.
Dog shit ending wtf was that 😂💀☠️
It is narcissism for the followers
I swear that's the worst ending that's still hilarious to me lmao
its like me yelling to my friends at the exit gate in dead by daylight "just go!" an then the killer comes and they die.
Maybe it's better to make your speech from outside the door, even if you have to shout loud 🙃
Or prop it open....dudes an idiot
AYO for those who do not know this ACTUALLY happened to Nasubi more or less sept since it was real life it was worse.
Nasubi look him up
Exactly what I thought of immediately!!!!
Social media in a nutshell
I like how the woman doing Yoga has more points than the rest combined, very accurate.

I prob would like this, small room movies, they have to have a great script. Thanks for sharing.
This movie is about content creators😂

He's the complete opposite of Truman. From The Truman Show. Dude is comfortable being caged in while Truman, who was born inside the show, wanted to get out as soon as he realised his life was a lie.
Bro I would’ve bolted the moment that opened but also it could’ve been a trap
The last part just made me so mad g I would’ve took off the moment that shit opened 💀💀
Is that teresa from queen of the south!!!!
Finally, a world where OF girls' skills are valuable
Share? to me was about social media.
The tokens represent likes or hearts on like X or Instagram. Being trapped in the room represents people trapped by social media and portraying to be something there not just for likes. Also the more you share the more popular you become.
Also there was no glitch
He asked each "blogger" to donate a single point to take a tally of how many people were watching. The huge increase meant thousands of people were watching.
that part where he got all that money wasnt the glitch, the glitches were the refresh command or the sprinklers or moving the walls
what is the name of the movie?
Good question
Cross between Mr. Beast and Jigsaw.
Cross between twitch streaming and black mirror.
This movie represents today's society of clicks. We are in a prison of trying to live life online for clicks. We'll, not me, but millions of people are.
Why can't you just put the original titles of the movies? Dammit!

This is the psychology behind the movment of streamers, bloggers, youtube celebrities, podcasters. etc

he got backlash from his audience, his viewship went down, so he quit the road to betterment and self improvement.

I will say a good point is the fact how easy you can be brainwashed cause they opened that door knowing he wouldn’t leave I’m sure

This movie can’t be more than 20 mins long
I liked it...people trying to fix things together for an escape. Mmm like real life. ☺ ☺
That lifestyle scenario may become a reality before too long.
The story of Cuffem
Sequel: he gets beat by a twitch tot…
The worst part about this is that it's partially based on a true story from Japan. They kept a guy locked in a room for nearly two years and the only things he could have had to be ordered from catalogs using donated currency.
It eventually ended up being the producers fucking with him and intentionally sending him things like dogfood when he applied for other stuff. They even moved him and he had to start over.
When Mr.Beast buys every country in the world 😂😂😂😂
isn’t that Melvin Gregg from vines ??
Honestly leave the names of the movies in the description if not what’s the point
