In this video, I am installing an LED bumper Reflector that will act as a brake light and turn signal. If you have any questions, please leave a comment below.
Tools:
1- #5 socket and rachet wrench
2- Trim removal tool or flat head screwdriver
3- Philips screwdriver
4- Electrical Cutter / wire stripper
5- Butt connector with heat shrink
6- Electrical Tape

Bob M. Thanks for showing how to removing the bumper and how to run the wires. Great recovery on having done your wiring of the lights and then discovering you could not install them to the bumper so you cut the wires to solve that problem. Now I know to run the wires before hooking wires to the tail lights. Great job!

Nice job but me personally not a fan of the mustang style lights on the civic. I just smoked my lens and changed the rear lights to led. Again that just me personally. But nice job on the install.

I can’t get the pins to line up when putting the new ones on. I saw you had trouble too and you cut out actually putting the new reflectors in. What’s the best angle to go from?
There is not any fix angle. You have to keep trying and look for any part obstructing which need to trim out.
What if you push on your brake and the same time make a turn signal? What would it prioritize first? Thanks!
I connected turn signal on brighter led so it will flash between dimmer red and brighter red when brake is applied while signaling.
Just like when at night. They’re dimmer until brake or turning signal are activated.

The question is when you step on the brake do the lights also turn on or not the ones you installed now?
It turns on with break. And it goes brighter with turn signal.
What gen is this cause I just got the 10th gen and the blinker moves in a blinking pattern in a wave motion across the 3
It's 10th generation also.. light you bought have sequential light. Mine don't have that feature.

The reflectors I bought have red,black,white and a yellow wire. I connected them watching another video but now my tail gate red lights don’t come on and neither do the lights on my AC buttons or the shift light up don’t come on
The one you bought is comes with sequential signal. I am not sue what exactly happened but I suggest to check fuse foe each light not working.
Mine started messing up. They are flashing in one side. :(. Should I replace or can it be fixed?
The best thing to do is just replace it. It's led module is probably faulty so I don't think it can be repaired.

This one which I am installing does not but there are other in market which does glow as running light even with headlights off.

Yes, if not then there is not enough space to work.
You do not need to take off bumper I did it easily without doing so
