- This was the final video in a series of 4 where I built the Lionel Big Boy Superset (with different boxcar) for several hundres dollars less than buying the actual superset. This unboxing is the red and yellow version, and I am giving away the brown colored version, in an unopened box, to one of my lucky subscribers.

Great video. Not only do you save money by putting together your own superset you choose your own version of Big Boy and freight cars you want. I did the same and purchased the excursion oil burning version.

Yes, some cabooses had horns that were hooked up to the air brake line, and controlled by another crew member for when the train was backing up.
