This is genius. I used to always get really sick around February and March due to testing and overtraining. Our championship wasn’t until June. I wish my coaches had seen this video.

Aram, you spoke about staying a certain intensities at different times of the season. I am curious to know how you would structure your testing during these times. Would you call in your athletes for at a fixed date for testing during the off-season or do you monitor their progress in training itself and take a call based off of that?
Secondly, when it comes to load monitoring, how do you structure a weekly increase in miles?
Lastly, a slightly mundane question but, 2 sessions a day vs 3 sessions a day. What do you personally prefer using for your athletes?

Hi Aram, how do you measure the athlete’s progress to their specific goals? Do you have a metric in terms of time, intensity, watts that allows you to predict the chances of achieving the goals? Is it something that can only be seen in competition? Thanks for your guidance. Hope to see you in Vienna on Thursday!!

try some wide grip drills or have a wider grip in general, it helps to pull the inside of your body down.
