Another good way to get moss on wood is to put some moss in a blender with some yoghurt, blend it and with a paintbrush you brush a thick layer onto some wood.
It works without yoghurt too.
How do you know if the moss you collect from the temperate climate can survive in a closed environment like this? Temperature would be higher than normal. Great video btw!

Not often at all due to the water staying inside the system 😄🌱
How do you prevent the moss from growing tall? All my closed containers it turns to grass type of growth.
You do get this early on in the setups, best thing to do it to tackle it early on (the first couple of weeks). I definitely should’ve mentioned this in the video though so that’s a good question for another moss video 😄

Yeah you absolutely can 😄
This is well videoed but I would have titled it "Collection and Storage of Moss" rather than propagation as propagation insinuates the production of new moss.
Yeah, you’re definitely right! Now for me, I do grow it this way too as it produces very well, I trim the tops, chop it up and re-store/plant in the tubs to replace what I’ve used. But perhaps I do a part 2 and go through that process as that may be useful. Thank you so much for watching man 😄
Exactly what I thought. The video is definitely informative, but I am looking for a way to multiply moss and I can't seem to find one where it shows this. Maybe find a land moss type that grows long and try to cultivate it as much as possible and use the cutt of parts as new seedlings?
