I spent 24 hours in Athens, Greece as a female solo traveler and here is how my day went.
I spent the day exploring the parthenon, the acropolis museum, Zeus temple and more- obviously I had to get a Gyros for lunch too. Athens is such a cool, alternative feeling city. I honestly really loved it.
I love to challenge myself every once in awhile with solo travel adventures to push my comfort zone and do something new. I spent 4 months backpacking around europe 2 years ago, so it felt good to be back at it again!

I'm currently writing this message from Greece on my solo trip and I'm loving every moment of it. This is my first ever solo trip actually, but it is probably the best decision I have made in my life. Met lots of amazing people, created a lot of new experiences and memories that will last forever in my mind. Now I am already thinking about my next trip!
To whoever is putting off the idea of going solo (like I did at first), just do it. It might just be the best thing you've ever done.
