- Join Dan Nti from Kick Game as he visits the UK’s second city to see the influence Birmingham is having on not only football, but also music, fashion and culture. In this second episode, we visit Birmingham City and Aston Villa to get a feel of what it means to support one of football’s most historic sides. We also catch-up with Jack Grealish, who shares his memories of growing up around the city and how that shaped his footballing career. From Villa to Birmingham City, we catch up with Blues fan and musician Jaykae, who takes Dan on a memorable Emirates FA Cup matchday at St. Andrews.
Jaykae also shows us his boxing gym where he talks to Dan about what it was like growing up in Birmingham and what the future looks like for this part of the Midlands. Hear Jaykae’s stories about watching a young Jude Bellingham come through the ranks at BCFC on his way to the European stage and what it means to be home to one of football’s biggest derbies. This episode is one for Blues and Villains alike. This is What’s Going on in Birmingham.
