He Plays at my team benfica and he is a complete midfielder he can do well all 3 positions but has a box to box, it looks like u play with 1 more unit at the midfield.
when he plays he recovers the ball extremely fast, with high pressure on the opponent and even he is short he wins a lot aereal duels , and body to body disputs, also he can plays at 10 since he have a lot technical ways to pass the ball and have a curly and powerful shot
He reminds me of Ander Herrera, but with a little bit more flair. I think him and Mainoo would really prosper together at Man United.

João Neves would be worth diamonds on the current Man Utd team, trust me he is ready to play along side Bruno Fernandes and in the premier league, on Man City he would have a hard time to play because Man City has already world class midfielders and he probably wouldn't play and develop even more as a player but honestly? I absolutely think Man Utd should hire him, he is worth the 120m€

"huge money problems" is VERY exaggerated, Benfica has its debt well under control, in the last 3 years we've made 270 million euros on 3 players alone (Darwin, Enzo Fernandez and Gonçalo Ramos). He's the most consistent player at benfica but he's game is hard to get highlights because he's not a fancy player only dribbles to get space to progress on the field or to get space but he's interceptions and passes are impressive and never will give up on the play

I don't think being tall always mean that the player is verty physical. Joao neves is very physical, I believe he's 175cm but he's very physical. a bit similar to renato sanches (renato is stronger ofc)
