I can already imagine the episode where the hero’s stumble through the forest and see a wimpy twug and later see a mightigna harassing a small Pokémon and then a twug stands up for. Basically what I’m saying it has the personality of a protagonists team

Grassasin has to be one of the best fanmade pokemon I've ever seen.
It has the missed opportunities to be an assassin bug which are real and hides in dead bodies of other insects

I would've thought of Grasshoppers as either Bug / Grass or Bug / Flying, but I like the idea you went with.
You know you are in heaven when you see an anime where Ron is training his twug and helping it overcome its fear so as to be strong
The wimpy to strong of the Stick Insect kinda reminds me of Deku from My Hero Academia, it's also like not just the final evolution but it seems the whole line was based off All Might, he seems week and timid, he trains his powers, then he became the symbol of peace
TY I was lookin for someone to point it out he literally said how he puts on a reassuring smile for those he saves and I swear all might said the same exact thing plus the antennas look like the hair spikes
Deku and All Might would have Phasmasc, both to surprise Katsuki, and to let the people know that they're safe, because they are here!!

Ron did say that Phasmasc was sort of based on All Might so I'm not surprised. Heck, its face is an allusion to AM's signature smile. Tho I wish he reduced the humanoid part

Yo, pre-video, as a Bug-type connoisseur, I’m extremely excited for the video! (My favorite Pokémon is Flygon but still it’s a dragonfly and the first stage is a bug so I guess it counts)
Edit 1; I really like All might stick bug! It has lots of character and could see it really exerting some power, which is rare with a beginning bug line. I also really like the superhero vibes, really unique. Could see it working with Hawlucha and Machamp.
Edit 2; A unique take on Locust Pokémon! A lot of people go with Bug/Dark locusts but you also made it a ninja! Would’ve liked to see it 3-Stage to match its enemy, though.
I have never clicked so fast. Bug is my favorite type.

The Twug line seems like the type of Pokémon you'd have to trade for the final evolution to me. So, the fact that its second form looks a bit more finalized makes sense in that context!

I love twug so much. When you said when it’s antenna manage to hit an enemy it’s confidence is boosted I just wanted to let every twug I come a cross hit me. I would definetly have one on my team
I saw the base form of the stick bug and immediately thought of untransformed All Might before I even saw the final form.

There's a clear progression in quality in your art and designs and I love to see it. These are some of the my favorites, I love how you handled the proportions on phasmasc and how it isn't too humanoid but still conveys the desired idea in a way our brains recognize as human, and I believe grassassin is my favorite of all your designs. The clothing works well into the body, and the art piece has amazing composition. The shading was done well, and it works with the pose to make it very dynamic, and I hope that dynamism is carried over into future designs, especially in poses. I can see the picture you used as pose reference earlier in the video, but you still adjusted the pose to fit grassassins proportions very well, and I really love how it came out
Could you make a pokedex, like all asone pokemon in dex order, video? I think it would be cool to have that as a series wrap up

I remember the first and only time I saw a phasmid in real life. I had never seen one before and didn't know they existed. I was still a young child. I was in the woods somewhere I've only been once in my life. I saw some kind of weird stick sticking on a tree's trunk. The "stick" was the same texture as the bark. I approached it and realized that it was an insect. I was in awe. I observed it for a very long time. It was completely motionless. After a while, it started climbing up the tree.

When I saw the title, I was hoping one of them would be a Grasshopper, because they look so cool, but the swarm of locusts eating everything in their way sounds terrifying. And you did not disappoint 😁 Stick insects are really cool too, and Twug is adorable 🥺

also: assassin bugs are actually a thing that exists, _and_ theyre ambush predators, so i feel like that would fit for the latter?

it would be great if you did one of those "early route birds", like every region (I've seen) has them! Pidgey, starly, spearow, hoothoot, fletchling, pidove, rookidee, and more. I'm not sure if you made it, I might've missed the video that you did the pokemon, but if you didn't, this can be great!
I liked to think that if there was an anime of this, a farmer would have a stickid that worked on the farm to keep hopinch away, and then evolves when a grassasin comes along. Would make for a nice side episode!

I’ve seen a lot of poketubers make new Pokemon and new regions, but your region in my opinion is the best of them all. All of the Pokemon in this region are really good, keep up the good work :)

Thug could gain an ability when he evolves into Stickid that could be called "Hide Tears" that would make him recover 1/6 HP and gain 1 speed when he takes damage.
I love these concepts. Part of me wants to merge them into something like the Wurmple line, where Twug (or whatever the base form Wurmple equivalent is) evolves either into Stickid or Hopinch, which in turn evolve into their respective final evolutions. Something something villains could have been heroes under different circumstances and vice versa. Which evolution you get wouldn't be determined by gender, but by something more situational, maybe time of day? Just a thought.
I can picture Grassasin saying: "If only ONE Durant finds out about this, there goes our way of life!"

They could have been scientists who took them from another region and put them into a controlled environment to see if they could adapt but them somehow escaped
Instead of them being wiped out by the native Pokémon, they quickly adapted, bred and took over. Maybe driving down the native Pokémon's population in that area because they consume so much food. It's a dark type then gains it's steel or ice typing after evolution so it can deal with the desert nights .
@@pigeon1923 I love that! And it would give another reason for them to be dark type, because invasive species! I think ice type would work the best because Raccoons are typically found in colder areas AND the ice type would give them an advantage over the deserty-ground Pokémon thereby giving a mechanical reason for their rampant success in the desert! AND they would only come out during the night because that’s when its COLD enough for them to be comfortable!!!!!!!
