Well, Mimikyu, aside from also not being dogshit in stats and ability (insert champion Pachirisu here yesyes I know), also is like the only one of them to have an actual personality. People won't mind a sellout concept like "Pikaclone" if the concept is done great.
Odenne is my favorite, it’s so cute and the antenna -> satellite dish progression makes sense, it feels like the most natural evolution out of all of these

Emolga has always been my favorite Pikachu clone, and seeing them gain an evolution makes me extremely happy!
Iris's Emolga made me love the mon, her sassy and chill nature was amazing and she was basically a mini Iris which is adorable, loved her slight rivalry with Ash's snivy too

Ironically a superhero Emolga evolution would fit perfectly in the NYC inspired Unova region considering a lot of superhero stories are often set in big cities such as the big apple
A morpeko with a split evolution depending on which form it was in when it reached a certain level is honestly a really cool idea

Absolutely love Kumolga. Feels like such a natural evolution whilst also being a fresh spin on Emolga. Would totally want to have one of these guys on my team
Damn Barisu looks super cool. I'd totally train a Pachirisu if the'd evolve into this beast. The Umbreon aspect of Kumolga is a really creative way to incorporate the Superhero theme. Togederashi is also such a neat design. Reminds me a bit of Sandshrew, a Pokemon I really enjoy. Also the name sound dope.
I love Morpeckish so much I can see it using Morpeko as minions to battle Honchkrow and Murkrow over food.
Anybody else kinda get Tobi Kadachi vibes from the Pachirisu evo?
Pachirisu being my favorite pikaclone gave me high expectations for its evo, and the design isn't what i'd imagine a pachirisu evolution to be. But its still pretty good for what it is, and i like the other designs as well

Wow these are all really cool! Kumolga and Odenne are honestly flawless. One tweak I would make to Barisu is to make its tail bigger so it more closely resembles a squirrel. Pachirisu's tail was bigger than its body, so having Barisu's tail be much bigger and curl up over its back while keeping the spikiness would really tie the whole design together, and give it a closer connection to Pachirisu aside from just the colors. As it is it doesn't have much of a unique identity. Similarly with Togederashi, maybe tone down the spikes on its back a bit and add some retractable spikes alongside the permanent ones so that it can become more aggressive when needed and more closely resemble Togedemaru

I'm actually a really big fan of Pikachu clones. I don't think there's one I really dislike...well except Plusle (yes, specifically Plusle. Long story). I was a bit surprised by how drastically these guys changed in comparison to the one clone that does evolve but I feel like this is for the better considering while I like Pawmot, the line is probably the most blatant example of "just ____ but bigger" Pokemon has ever done. I really like Emolga's. The hood along with cap and Umbreon pattern are really cool.

@@TheRealRoyalArtworksKinda late but I assure you, this won't be worth the wait. So I've used Minun twice now in playthroughs of Omega Ruby. It's why I'm one of 20 people who like it way more than Manetric. But I always found the fact I rate Minun so highly weird so I just used Plusle as a comedic punching bag even though without the positive and negative symbols, one would be the shiny of the other. Then as time passed, started to actually believe that Minun was 10 times better than Plusle cause I had memed on it for so long. (not helped by the fact the stupid thing crit one of my Pokemon in a Nuzlocke) which lead to my disdain for it. So yeah it's basically a "live the lie long enough to believe it" story.

Morpeckish is probably my favorite. I like the split between Morpeko’s Full Belly and Hangry forms incorporated in it!
I really love how Togederashi looks like it could stand as it’s own Pokémon, it fits as an evo, but could be its own thing
Man I like all the names you gave them. As someone who actually speaks Japanese, your naming logic really makes sense as a Pikaclone since their names need to make sense in Japanese.
As a fan of Dedenne, I love Odenne’s design, concept behind it, it’s abilities, and it’s signature move. The signature move would especially help for triggering Cheek Pouch a lot earlier.
Considering that Gen 4 introduced quite a lot of cross gen evolutions, I'm surprised Pachirisu didn't get one.

Honestly, it's weird they gave a pikaclone a three-stage evo line just to not have it change, like at all aside from standing up and getting slimmer.@@CoralReaper707
It feels like morpeko is ripe for a branch evolution. One where aura wheel runs out of uses in a given area and goes dark, and another where aura wheel reaches over-capacity with PP up or PP max therefore overcoming its hunger and gluttony and swaps its dark type for something else perhaps changing aura-wheels function to be that new type while still doing super effective damage to water and flying to make a sort of dual-type move.
Pacharisu is so funny because everyone uses it as an example of winning with your faves but the guy chose him solely because the niche he fit on the team and held no attachment to it

Fr though, all of these look great! I think the Emolga one might be my favorite. The hood idea ended up looking so good! You always teach me how to improve my Fakemon-making skills, and my art skills in general :D
Odenne is absolutely my favorite from this batch, it's SO chunky I wanna just squish it! I honestly may do this challenge myself and try to come up with evolutions for Pikaclones. Maybe even make a split evo for Pichu pretending that Pikachu doesn't exist? And maybe even one for our favorite Fake Pikaclone, Mimikyu!

This really makes me wish Pokemon would give out more evolutions to their existing ones.
I love all of these as Pikaclones are some of my absolute favorite mons! When I saw Pawmi could evolve I instantly fell in love and wished the others evolved too.
However I do think more can be done for Morpeko's evolution and giving it a branched evolution!
Imagine the way to make Morpeko evolve depends on the form it takes after it runs out of aura wheels. So Hangry Mode or Full Belly mode by the time the battle ends with no PP left on Aura wheel after level 30.
One form is this one in the video and the other form is one that's never obsessively hungry again. It could be something interesting for such a unique Pokémon such as Morpeko.

Really loved all of these designs! My idea for a possible Morpeko evolution is that when you reach a certain level it evolves depending on its current form so either happy evo or hangry evo

These were all such great evolutions. I genuinely think you make the best fakemon, and that the Pokémon company would benefit greatly by having you on their team for designing new Pokémon.
I like how you kept the names similar, since that's a recurring characteristic in both evolutionary lines of Pikaclones we already have (the -chu in every member of the Pikachu family and the Pawm- in every member of the Pawmi family).
I liked Kumolga's first eye design, but the second one work aswell

Barisu is amazing! Would love to see a version with ears similar to spiky ear pichu. Feels like it would fit well with the tail

They all look amazing, especially the dedenne and emolga evos. Those two are so good and realistic. The others look great as well and but they do not look like pikaclones as much.

My favorites are the Emolga and Togedemaru evos. Emolga with a hood and cape just works so freaking well, and Togederashi fixes everything I didn't like about Togedemaru and is a strong design in its own right.
Missed opportunity to lean into Pachirisu's dragon-killing legacy tbh
Barisu is growing on me despite my initial thoughts, but I have an issue with butt and tail region. While I think the tail should be longer, I think the bigger issue is that it almost looks like the tail is coming out of the body further up the back then it should. I'm sure most of that has to do with the angle of the pose, but I still thing you could make some tinny adjustments to fix that
Kumolga is my favorite with Odenne coming in at second. Kumolga is a tough looking guy that still manages to look cute. Odenne as a mouse that ate too much feels like a natural progression of Dedenne, and it's eyes show it has no intention of slowing down
I think that you make Togederashi have the ability to stand up on it's hind legs like many rodents, but I think the bigger thing is that you should had kept the check marks; I mean you have two yellow spikes where they where and it shouldn't be too much of an issue to have both. I was a little worried when you said this guy was going to be a porcupine, but you managed to make it work (Togedemaru's spines where more retractile anyway)
I don't really like Morpeckish, mostly because you took away the hangry gimmick. I think this would work better as a spit evolution, but even then I think it would be better to have an evolution that kept the form change
I would love to see a swries with a competitive pokemon player talking about how your custom pokemon would be used competitively (and if they would be good or bad/what rank)

togedemarus evo is really cute and emolgas is pretty cool, the more dynamic poses do genuinely help a lot

One aspect to squirrels that I find really neat is how they’re able to survive a fall of theoretically any distance. I think it would be neat if a Pokémon reflected that and the intelligence of some squirrels, like a rock psychic squirrel mon with an ability that’s like levitate but 1) they don’t actually float and 2) things like gravity don’t disable it. Like a Pokémon that’s immune to ground type attacks not by flying over but instead being nimble enough to dodge any real damage
For the dedenne evolution, since its a fairy mouse trope, you could also include the faerie queen/court into the mob boss/oni inspiration! :o

I just realized that Kumolga could have the patterns and hood-like fur to make it look like it's wearing an Umbreon hide. That would make it seem like it was stronger and able to take out an Umbreon and wear it's hide as a trophy >:0
I get only doing the electric pikachu clones but isn’t mimikyu technically a pikachu clone too…I know I would love to see it evolve one day

I REALLY wish Togedemaru evolved into Togederashi, Togedemaru is one of my least favorite pika-clones but if it evolved into Togederashi I'd love it so much more. Great fan evo
These were all super cool concepts. I'd imagine that if these were actual evolutions, people would be giving the Pika clones a LOT more love rather than seeing them as just throwaway filler Pokemon for the Dex that aren't that useful. I see a few other comments saying that they would have liked to see another evo of Morpeckish and I agree that a split evo would have worked perfectly for Morpeko, getting a permanent good side and a permanent evil side. A split evo line would also be a neat unique gimmick for a Pika clone.

I was a little surprised to see Plusle and Minum not included in this video as I was hoping to see what you'd do with both of them. Although all of them are great here I probably like Togedemaru or Emolga's evo the best here.

Shiny Kumolga should have blue accents tho. If the lore says stripes and rings are to look like umbreon, then the shiny should look like shiny umbreon

The Emolga evo kinda looks more like a Static Shock type of Mon. Especially if you look at Batman Brave and the Bold Static. Also he does wear a hoodie that is kinda like a cape. He does fly as well.

Dedenne was never my favourite Pikachu clone but damn do i love the concept and overall art of Odenne.
And i love how togederashi looks so different from togedemaru but still feels like an evolution that makes sense.
