Carmilla was really OP when she was first release in the original server, I remember soloing lord using her lol

Can't help but blame Moonton for nerfing the extra movement of her S1. She was crazy fast at chasing when first released back then.
I stop playing ranks after that and nowadays i just watch youtube because i dont feel like playing the game anymore until they buff carmila again

Shes really good and super tanky, the problem comes when teammates dont know how to synergize with her. She can easily tank a lot of heroes and deals decent damage with her first skill. She perfect for countering pesky assasins like gusion who likes to dive or get close to enemies. My only issue with her is when try and initaite but my teammates farm instead or just run away thinking we gon die. I only pick her when i play with friends who know how she works.

nope, sabers lowers physical defense only for his damage not for his teammates, but carmilla can lower the both phy and mgc def for her team that's why she's good at team fight and she can fight 1v3

She's so tanky as a support. When I play her, I'm always shock as she's such a good support. The only main problem when playing her though is her range.
She needs to get like close close. Like in your face close.
That's not gonna be a problem if you have a Cecilion on your team. Their combo, especially that ultra-long blink is deadly. Won a lot of games with that combo, but you need to trust your Cecilion to pull it off.

Carmilla is good when the enemies picked heroes that often stick together(especially sun), because her ult works best that way. For skill set I usually pick skill 1 first for clearing waves because aoe damage & regen, so that I can roam more often and sustain at teamfight.

As far as I can remember,
-she lost the movement speed bonus on her first skill
-lower range for her stun on her second skill
-lower range on her ult but in exchange they made it into a target lock skill rather than a skill shot meaning she can't miss her ult

She was never that strong to begin with, definitely not OP, but daddy moonton thought she was a one shotter and nerfed her to death

Anyway, I still prefer carmilla with her old skill1 where she gains extra movement speed once the skill hits the enemies around her.
Cursed Helmet isn't a good choice either, its dmg is low and the stats you get are very mediocre. Don't rely on Elgin for builds. Check out Strongwill Game Theory if you want a channel that focuses on builds and knows how to itemize
It terms of Build effectiveness. Elgin bought Guardian and Cursed helmets on early game, than Dominance and Athena/Oracle to effectively counter enemies, but more on sustain and lane effectiveness.
I remember the times when she was first released, she's can chase fast thanks to her s1 and s2. Unlike now, only her s2 makes her fast

Just noticed that you used her ult to deal damage. Actually, charge her 2nd then land her ult first followed by the fully charged 2nd skill. It's like a chain reaction if the first target got stunned, the 2 champions that were connected to the first champion will be stunned too. Good strat for players who loves to set a team fight :--)
She's my main now she's pretty and strong, but sometimes it's really hard to use her if your team doesn't know how strong this hero is, her SS is harvest time if the mm isn't that stupid, sorry for the word.
fax i always found a teammate that understimate carmilla ability....if the mm is smart enuff to combo with carmilla ult their basic attack gotta split like hanabi but more dmg than hanabi which is pretty op tho

Yo she's one of my favorite supports; I always get gold when I play her. She is strong especially alongside a good Cecilion user but it's sad that Cecilion is getting a skin survey while she doesn't 😭 it should be illegal to give Cecilion a skin without Carmilla having one too. Moonton should bring her movement speed boost on her first skill back, I think that's enough to see people play her again.

Carmilla is actually underrated, she's actually a really good hero. She can tank, she can support, she can even be played as a side lane. Has high durability and good damage. She's secretly meta.

I pick her as a jungler/tank and I am not joking. She is very powerful with allies with AOE damage thanks to the ultimate and moreover, she tanks and deal continuous damage at solo enemy as well or triple the dmg if there is 3 or more near to her with ult. And with a jungle enblem, she can easly solo turtle in 10 sec and solo lord for 30 seconds
I play her with hybrid build. I'm more of offlaner carmilla lol

As a Carmilla main user, I'd rather take the Flicker spell and Conceal roaming boots for better initiation in teamfights and escape. And works better with other AOE burst skills from allies to match with her ult.
Eh... Vengeance is much cooler imo. One time my teammates were dead, I was half hp, n three enemies jumped on me (quite literally)... Popped my ult, my skill 1, and vengeance, BOOM! DOUBLE KILL! They had to back off after that. People really underestimate the power of her ult tho
Vengeance is better but i agree that she need aoe burst teammate to help
Actually, I think if you just use vengeance and conceal, it'll definitely catch them off guard because most people think shes a direct set and not a sneaky one, which she can be both with an ally Vale or Ruby
I'm carmilla user 😌 and yes, nobody really uses her 🤫🤫 she's fun to use when the majority of the enemies are melee. 🌼
though i don't use her that often, shes one of my favorite heroes. imo her as a whole is very versitile! she can be offlaner, support, tank, and i've even used her as jg a few times. im glad she didn't get picked as the hero that will get revamped in the reforge your legend event. if anything, i hope they revert the nerfs they gave her, because i believe it was unnecessary.
Moonton should add Movement Speed by 20% on Carmilla's 1st skill then her 2nd skill should hit 2 enemies(If there's 2 or more enemies inside her 2s range) since her 2nd skill is CC but in exchange they should reduce the Movement Speed from 70%-50% and lastly Carmilla's Ult Moonton should add Movement Speed and Attack Speed by 10% if her ult only hits 1 enemy then 20% if her ult linked 2 enemies and 30% if She linked 3 enemies.
In total Carmilla has 100% Movement Speed if she used all her Skills and 30% Attack Speed if she Linked 3 Enemies on her Ult.(Her Allies will not be affected by the Movement Speed and Attack Speed only Carmilla) with this buff i'm sure players will use Carmilla more often.

Carmilla is my all time favorite support, Im quite surprised that shes the least pick support. She can easily tank for the team if you build her with Oracle and Breastplate thingy.
I've picked Carmilla several times and got a maniac while using her. She can counter support heroes that needs to be close to everyone else pretty hard. Also, a good pick to have fun in classic :v

I once did a Jungler Carmilla a few seasons back because no one wanted to play Jungler. It was difficult but manageable. Would still recommend playing with an ally Cecillion to properly utilize their tandem skill.

yeah ever since they removed the move speed from her skill 1 i stopped using her. not that she's useless its just that her rotation capabilities became slower.

Ever since she came out she instantly became one of my favorite heroes I still use carmilla on rank as a tank. One thing I do different is use flicker for that flickler stun it allows me to be more aggressive rather than just ranking damage with vengeance. I feel like she’s super Tanky so there’s no need for vengeance imo
Yeah true so that's why I use flame shot instead of vengeance because I can push the enemy to our teammates giving them enough time to deal a massive amount of damage to the hero during team fights.
Carmilla is my first choice when it comes to picking tank. There's just something satisfying when the enemy didn't expect me and my cursed helmet to melt their hp 🤣🤣

I was playing classic, the Carmilla’s durability was so strong when I used my ult as a wanwan
She's my main 700 matches with 71 percent winrate, i enjoy using carmilla before but now in the current meta , She is very hard to play since her passive got nerf and the 2nd skill also nerf (short range). No choice to use other heroes. Like lylia aond other mage with sustain
there's this bug on carm that was never, ever fixed. you can aim and cast her ult on jungle monster even though it won't do anything and won't even be used to scatter the curse. it's troublesome sometimes if the enemy is near a monster. i hope they fix it.

Carmilla is a hero that requires minimal skills upon playing the game. She is perfect as a support or tank, or secondary tank, for team fights.
She was literally destroying anyone when she was released, but the nerf on her 1st skill made her less picked. The nerfing of her 1st skilled killed her gameplay.
I used her in solo queue before. It was difficult because most of my teammates dont know her skills, specially the ult
I recommend buying Ice Queen wand, so that enemies have a harder time escaping her ultimate and Glowing wand, because it deals insane damage when combined with her first skill and ultimate. When it comes to defense, Oracle and thunder belt are definitely her main defense items.
It is true Carmilla doesn’t get played in ranked and classic often, but she is a great support. I am planning to have her as my sub support with Diggie as my main support.

I think Carmilia can go side lane if there's a tanky tank or a sustain fighter against her.
Moreover, Carmilia got CC skill n skill 1 sustain, it should be a good counter against tanky hero when Carmilia passive is max.
It's really nice that no one knows about her so the enemies will be confused on "how did that happen?" Mostly that Gusion who just charges anyway
Another tips if you have lord:
Make sure 1 of sustain hero on your team like tank or fighter to enter the turret.Enemy will focus on you and make sure the lord not getting poked and died before pushing a turret.
If anyone remembers she was so strong when she was first released that they kept needing her, she had speed boost on her first and second skill back then. Now she is just to weak

She's actually really good if you build her right. Her survivability is insane, good CC, and even lifesteal with her 1. Half of the support roster is barely played, I'd love to see characters like her being played more, so much potential missed out on. Glad to call her my support main
My favorite thing about using her is that everyone always underestimates how tanky she is because of how small she looks. And then when they realise they aren’t doing much damage to me, it’s already too late

Carmilla is very good tbh she is my 3rd favorite hero. She is like very tanky, can regen, and chains damage to several hero. Plus it helps clearing creeps in the early game fast
Actually, her slowing capabilities even in clashes is what many people like her. The deadly slow items (Thunderbelt, Ice Queen and even Corrosion Scythe) can proc her skills.
I love how elgin gives respect to all least picked heroes in every role by playing them in ranked
Ever since I got her, she's been my go-to hero when we need an initiator. Hella fun, can sustain a fuck ton, and her ult-vengeance combo is nothing to sniff at. And the best part? She's a vampire onee-san.

honestly when she is paired and possessed by angela, she's nearly invincible. I got to experience it in classic, and it was super fun going against the mages, watching them run away after they've used up all of their skills and combos on me.
I love the feeling of using second skill and zooming to the enemies fleeing in panic hahahahaja
During when she was one of the free heroes of the week, only in that period of time did I start to love her. She is amazing a good support. I really regretted not buying her first.

Oh, that’s why Carmilla is the most rarest pick, except that she is more common with Cecilion.
Whenever I play Carmilla my bf usually also picks Cecilion. I take the first skill first so I can prep the minions on a silver platter for Ceci to oneshot at the end. In the meantime while I do that, he pokes and stacks off enemies. Then we steal enemy's blue since Ceci usually has no chance at our own blue. Their 'dancing together' passive is bloody op for initiation and disengaging. We have roughly 70%+ wr out of around 200 matches. Carmilla is damn tank. Stun, slow, damage, all in one package. Both are very underrated characters.

Why cursed helmet after guardian helmet? You cannot rely on her passive for defense attributes. Your tanking capability would be underpowered by building those 2 items together especially in the early game.
