- So why is Granger the number 1 most picked hero right now?
Aside from his good looks, I think his early game potential is his best selling point.
His 1st skill hurts a lot even in the early stage of the game.

That was the meta Granger last year who's always the top 1 used but he disappeared because players think he was too op so devs nerfed him but now his back again because devs slowly buffs him that's why..
He disappeared also because there was for a entire season a meta of assassin, against which Granger with his old full DMG build couldn't survive. Also I heard he came back meta thanks to Akobida the creator of "defensive boots-bruteforce breastplate-hunter strike" build

Probably because he shot 6 bullets in a row while moving freely. The bullets are painful and fast, and his mov spd can be increased. Also his ult range is very long and the last one deal crit dmg.🔫

I think Elgin is correct not to build War Axe, I've seen players build it but it seems like a waste for Granger, War Axe's passive only has half the effect because Granger is a MM, if you want Movement Speed or even High Damage, it's just better to build Hunter Strike or Malefic Roar.

i always using figther emblem with festival of blood as my talent. cuz in early game if i get kill, it can help me fight longer without buying bloodlust axe for my skill 1 for late game

I like using Granger and Vale's CC ult combo (the blue ult and yellow second skill thing) because they can counter enemies that don't obey social distancing
Also Granger's bug ult that simultaneously unleash a burst attack is op I avoid using it because u can't reposition and also kinda cheating

Back then when I use Granger as a gold laner. I wouldn't realize he have a high potential
as for why people buy war axe over bod, i think these are the reasons why :
1. cost
war axe is just merely 1.9k while bod cost 2.7k, resulting in grangers able to rush other equipments much easier and achieving more equipments (which is important for granger as he falls hard late game)
2. penetration
at this meta, penetration is so important as it helps improve %damage instead of raw damage, 16 at max may not be alot but adding 15 and 19.5 in assassin emblem, thats a total of about 50 pen which not many players can get for armour especially early game
3. movement speed
although u need max stacks for the movement speed boost, its quite easy to maintain stacks with jungle creeps spreaded around, and the extra movement speed helps so much
ofc this is what i believe, but im not sure if there are any other reasons why, and personally i use war axe mainly for the cost

Even before granger became famous like now, I had known a solid granger user. AkoBida. And I am not sure, but I think he is one of the pioneers in making Granger aggressive plays plus the builds like hunterstrike and bruteforce combination. I had seen him use it before it got so famous liek today. He's a great Granger Content Creator, watching his plays allows one to be able to play in a more aggressive way too.

Elgin you have a point in saying that 8 sec is quite long for mov spd but youre missing the other stats. For only 2k youre getting 550 hp, 10cd, a guaranteed 55 phy attck and it can go up to 84 phy atck, 16 phy pen and 20 mv spd at max potential. Buy it as the first item because it helps you jungle way faster because of the cd and dmg war axe gives. After war axe you can buy hunter or brute force depending on which side is dominating. Trust me a winning team's granger who have war axe and hunter is almost unkillable.

Elgin you are forgetting that u jungle as granger so those stacks are already mostly up for war axe, the same apllies when attacking minions. As long as you attack a target you will gain stacks for war axe

I think you should go for the war axe, hunters strike, endless battle, bruteforce breastplate, the ice retri (but depends on the boots), and blade of despair. Combining war axe and hunters strike is good because the movement speed you get from hunters strike plus the damage on war axe also its movement speed will greatly enhance its attributes in mid to late game especially with the additional damage from BOD and Endless battle. But i recommend that after you completed the boots, go for the war axe first, then endless battle, next, the hunters strike, bruteforce breastplate, and lastly the blade of despair. I still like the emblem tho. Stay safe elgin.
quite simple, a mm(popular role) who has really good early to mid game, get a lot of kills and jungles which is the role that is crucial in the early game for the team to get a lead, ntm his kit is very likeable by alot
Lolita does very well against Granger, so if you’re having trouble consider picking Lolita! I’ve learned ageis also works against his insane burst. Twlight Armor is also very good to buy as a counter item.

They use war axe for granger because of the stack damage and penetration just for the early game potential even thou the stack damage of war axe is half when mm, support, mage use it but that half damage can help early game hero

I want the following heroes to be nerfed like this:
1. Lunox - reduce her HP to 2200, Physical Defense and Magic Defense to 10. 1st skill must have increased cooldown to 4. 2nd skill remove slow. Ultimate increase cooldown to 30 at max level and Darkening must disable all her skills except Chaos Assault.
2. Granger - increase cooldown of 2nd skill to 10-8. Disable ult to be quickly spammed on wall dash. Reduce 1st skill physical scale to 65%
3. Selena - reduce max traps to 2 and they will be visible. 2nd skill will have no vision. Remove shield bonus from 1st skill in Abyssal Form.
4. Chou - decrease HP growth by 30%. Increase passive yards to 12.
5. Roger - remove ult effects that deal slow and damage and gain shield. Reduce physical defense bonus by 10 and remove HP bonus in Wolf Form.
6. Eudora - increase 1st skill cooldown to 8 and greatly decrease ult delay damage.
7. Mathilda - increase 1st skill cooldown by 4 seconds and damage must be dependent on magic power.
8. Tigreal - reduce 1st skill damage and remove slow. 2nd skill will only drag heroes. Reduce physical defense and magic defense to 10.
9. X.Borg - reduce 1st and 2nd skill range in Armorless state. Increase the threshold of damage to gain a stack.
10. Chang'e - remove 2nd skill speed up on casting period and reduce bass shield by 60%. Remove ult bonus damage on non-heroes and increase cooldown to 40 seconds at all levels.
11. Alice - can absorb passive charges only if she is in proximity. Increase 1st skill cooldown to 10 seconds and can be casted only within 1 second and remove damage on staying at the end. Increase ult manacost by 50. Reduce base mana regen to 1 per second.
12. Harley - reduce 2nd skill return cast duration to 3 seconds.
13. Guinevere - remove cc immunity in ult state. Greatly reduce passive build up. Increase 1st skill cooldown by 2 seconds. 2nd skill 2nd blink will only available if she sends an enemy airborne.
14. Silvanna - increase 2nd skill damage interval to 0.6 seconds.
15. Cyclops - reduce passive cd skip by 0.1 seconds.
16. Angela - reduce movement speed bonus from ult by 50%. Reduce ult shield by 500.
17. Yi Sun-shin - 2nd skill won't trigger passive bonus. Reduce 1st skill cd skip to 0.8 seconds.
18. Benedetta - greatly reduce passive buildup that it becomes full when she lands 5 basic attacks or charging at least 3.5 seconds. add increased delay that she can start using after 1 second. Remove stun on 2nd skill and turn immunity to 50% damage reduction. Reduce base HP to 2400 and magic and physical defense to 10.
19. Kagura - reduce ult link range where it breaks. Give silence effect when 1st skill hasn't reached to target spot.
20. Fanny - greatly reduce base damage of tornado but greatly increase physical scale.
because of the burst damage in that hero that"s why the other players can do one hit in that hero
