As a Carmilla user, I'm glad people are noticing this hidden gem more but I'm scared for the future of this hero- Some people have already been banning her in rank and she may go through the "perma ban to heavy nerf" phase many other heroes have gone through

Nah, peoples are just too overhyped at the moment, with all the older heroes coming back to meta. These heroes (especially Martis and Leomord) look exceptionally broken because the majority of players NEVER met them before, leading to them not knowing the counters. Any of these older hero's main can agree that these heroes are already strong since before, they just underrated. Give it some time and the meta will be settled again
@@youagain8447 what u say is wrong tbh for exemple there was a time when Leo was rly meta et he was played and banned a lot there is a reason why people stop playing him et started to ban him again, both martis and Leo are way too strong is the early game now its hard to even try to fight them before the late game (that you rarely get against them). In the same way carm now can stun and slow way too much and way too easily, in the same way of an atlas but she can even deal a lot of dmg and she can tank a lot. For me moontoon literally smoked while they adjusted the 3 of them

Tbh Carmilla is more of a Support/Fighter, if you play her in EXP Lane, she actually harasses her counterpart and she doesn't lose that much HP. But this is the first time I saw her as a jungler which is quite surprising.

I enjoy using Carmilla for solo queue as the roamer. Vengeance is really good with her, and I rarely use a full magic build. This video made me think about building hybrid, even if I can still get a few kills with a full tank build. Also, it would be nice if I could deal more damage in case I can't synergize with my teammates like Elgin mentioned in the vid. Thanks for showcasing her revamp!!
Carmilla is actually very strong in the early game against sustain heroes. She will win a trade against anyone who chose to stay and fight her head on. But she is still balance by the fact she can't deal with a "hit and run" type heroes.
True. Even before revamp she was fairly decent at exp lane and could outdamage and outheal many fighters at exp lane which is impressive for a support hero.

@@daxmj09 There is actually a counter play to kill mm but currently I have no proof against miya, layla and karrie(they are hard to find and when you encounter one, Joy is either banned or they have suppress) Joy plus vengeance could allow Joy to sustain more dmg than normal, enough to lethally dmg the mm. This is done by completing 2 perfect notes then place and dash to your 1st skill then dash towards the enemy(all must be perfect notes for better dmg). If you do this, you should be able to cast ult while near the enemy mm. Now, you must remember that they COULD burst you down if you are quite late on casting vengeance. It is recommended to use it when they are about to deal massive dmg like wanwan ult or moskov 1st. You wouldn't have much of a problem against brody, lesley, granger, yss, natan(yes, for whatever reason, natan can't melt Joy fast enough since natan requires the 1st and 2nd to get the max benefit from passive). All in all, just avoid heroes who deal dmg by atk speed and not atk dmg. Heroes who depend on atk dmg instead of atk speed just becomes shield generator Joy.

I love the carmilla and cecillion combo because my friend keeps taking me when she panics, but i feel like other than the extra ability cecillion and carmilla’s abilities dont really work together too well
Although they nerfed the link damage, I believe the 100% CC is far more useful. As a Carm main, this buff makes her more viable for teamfights than solo, punishing teams like Estes who clump together.

If you're thinking how Carmilla Jungler works. The playstyle is very to Jungle Barats. She's very strong against heroes who fight head-on and only teamfights. Her only weakness is that she can be really slow and can be easily avoided with fast mobility heroes or hit and run. If you don't use Support Emblem you're movement speed will be sluggish and will be super dependant on your 2nd skill considering that you're being a Jungler, it is more optimal to use Jungle Emblem.

Me and my girlfriend have been playing Cecilion and Carmilla duo for months now. Actually, we're both Cecilion mains but obviously two of us can't play Cecilion at the same time, so one of us will go for Carmilla for fun, but we never actually took that seriously, we just play at Classic. But due to Carmilla's revamp, we're taking this duo synergy to ranked games and we often do the "Carmilla Dive" where Cecilion will hide Carm at his shadow and throw her at the teamfight hahahaha
I have currently master all supports characters right now, and I can boldly say she is truly better due to the buff. Stealing people defense and crowd controlling teams is nice but her overall issue was her ultimate engaging. Now you can ult freely and safely as well as gain more stacks fast. I wouldn't be surprise if more people use her in rank compare to supports like Atlas, Minostaur or Akai now just because of how better she gotten. Plus with this she has a lot of synergy with AOE characters. In short, definitely one of the best support characters that can climb up this season and really worth trying to see for yourself :] P.S: Also note any teammate that cc the enemies in Carmilla ultimate will take that link as well. Meaning her allies, can burn, immobilize , freeze, stun and suppress more than one enemies if linked (-_-) . Which is also scary XD

3:26 for the moonlit skill with cecilion. i think it was better if they kept it the same. the shield increase doesnt really make much a difference. the main reason why my sister (who plays ceci) uses it on me (carmi) is just because im about to die. but after i jump out, i recall. so i dont need the shield to tank anything since im going home anyway. and my sister positions well so us using moonlit skill for shield is very seldom. I think because carmi got a buff and ceci is a good mage right now it doesnt really matter if moonlit cd is increased? like as the roamer, i should be careful when i play din i shouldnt always go in recklessly and resort to the moonlit skill to save me. thats a skill issue for me then u know? but eh it kinda sucks when im tanking all the damage and a moonlit would be rlly good rn but my sis says it's 20s cd ;-; but hey it makes us balanced so it's not 100% unfair for enemy. this is just one skill naman. i see alot of players solely rely on this skill but theres so much more to this couple and their combos than just the moonlit.

I play cecillion with my partner carmilla. And I can say the moonlitz adjustment is a nerf. More CD means I have to be more careful using the moonlitz to save her or ganking side lanes
Been using Carmilla jungle since last season. Her jungle play style is same with Baxia Jungle. She's tanky, and can hop from a jungle camp to another really fast because of her 2nd skill.
Carmilla's buff is good now in team fight. What i don't like is the long cooldown of her skills and her passive that steal defense is only LIMITTED to one hero.
I agree. You can't always rely to rank up on Carmilla on solo q since u have to rely on your teammates for followup damage. If you want to rank up fast on solo q use core heroes who can actually carry the game to victory
I tried this last week, since no one adjusted on my team during draft pick. Surprisingly she can clear the jungle and rotate faster- to help during ganks and get objectives.
I knew carmilia' s ultimate has pretty amazing effect and synergy well with other skills but due to small range I don't use her much. But now she is incredible especially when your team have plenty of CC or AOE
Carmilla can do it all at this point. I was forced to play carmilla on Mid lane and Exp lane. Her clearing ability is just good. Great buff! Definitely one of my go to hero this season.
I always use her as an exp laner, i just build her with glowing wand and cursed helmet and late i just go in 1vs3 with the help of vegeance, she's definitely op rn
A true carmila user will knew, she is 1 hero that fits all role (except mm) , tho being a mage is not recommended.. she still does a good job holding a large group of enemies on her own while other team mate push tower
I used to play Carmilla before her buff in soloq, I like her tankiness and durability during teamfights and she's pretty fun to play. I'm glad she got the buff she needs rn, I played her yesterday and it was so good 😊👍

I build Carmilla with a few magic items like Enchanted Talisman and Ice Queen Wand. Quite similar to a hybrid build on Esmeralda.

I play cecillion with my partner carmilla. And I can say the moonlitz adjustment is a nerf. More CD means I have to be more careful using the moonlitz to save her or ganking side lanes

Been using Carmilla jungle since last season. Her jungle play style is same with Baxia Jungle. She's tanky, and can hop from a jungle camp to another really fast because of her 2nd skill.

she is good being jungler, especialy when you build her with high HP damage..

I actually started using carmilla jgl 5 months ago and I found it pretty good. Glad to see she is getting recognized now.
My friend always uses her for jungler if we need one and can't choose no more. She awesome.
Carmilla's buff is good now in team fight. What i don't like is the long cooldown of her skills and her passive that steal defense is only LIMITTED to one hero.

I agree. You can't always rely to rank up on Carmilla on solo q since u have to rely on your teammates for followup damage. If you want to rank up fast on solo q use core heroes who can actually carry the game to victory
I tried this last week, since no one adjusted on my team during draft pick. Surprisingly she can clear the jungle and rotate faster- to help during ganks and get objectives.
When will I see Elgin's villain arc. And by that I mean the TP TP era 😅
She is definitely better used with teammates. But not bad on high rank either. I’ve been spamming her to reach mythical glory.

I knew carmilia' s ultimate has pretty amazing effect and synergy well with other skills but due to small range I don't use her much. But now she is incredible especially when your team have plenty of CC or AOE

New carmilla actually pretty good against all those meta hero because her new ult can easily counter them

Carmilla can do it all at this point. I was forced to play carmilla on Mid lane and Exp lane. Her clearing ability is just good. Great buff! Definitely one of my go to hero this season.
I always use her as an exp laner, i just build her with glowing wand and cursed helmet and late i just go in 1vs3 with the help of vegeance, she's definitely op rn

A true carmila user will knew, she is 1 hero that fits all role (except mm) , tho being a mage is not recommended.. she still does a good job holding a large group of enemies on her own while other team mate push tower
Carmilla+Cecillion is still the best combo if used properly
a lot of players still don't know how her ult works. I hate playing Carmilla then my teammates just don't hit the chained enemies

I used to play Carmilla before her buff in soloq, I like her tankiness and durability during teamfights and she's pretty fun to play. I'm glad she got the buff she needs rn, I played her yesterday and it was so good 😊👍
