Word! And not the only brand sadly. In Rewe in my city we got a huge wide shelf just for that stuff. And you almost never find the exact thing you're looking for. I know that there is a reason and which it is but I think no one cares here about that anyway.
But Haribo and Trolli (a bit cheaper brand) have unbelievably many different sorts of candy like that. So don't get a shock when you're finally here in Germany and see that. Because many get shocked and by one of every thing there is. 🤣🙈

Also: "ei" (eye) and "ie" (ee) -> When e and i go walking, the latter does the talking.

Umlauts aren't decorational, they're letters and sounds of their own.
There are also some sounds which are hard to describe in text. The best option is if let a bot read the words to you.

The fun thing is, gummibears and stuff like that is called "Weingummi" = wine gum, so "Wein" means wine, but "weinen" as a verb means to cry. "Lachen" means to smile or to laugh. So "Lachgummi" is the opposite of "Weingummi".
