Skoottie’s thing is always always covering something important with his camera. Usually not the same thing every time either. I saw him put him camera on top of a speedrun timer before.
Been loving these Backpack Battles steams, honestly, and ended up playing a decent bit of it. You should try a broomstick build, I kinda think it's the unsung hero of the staves. You get perminent blind and the damage scales with blind till you're nearly unbeatable, it's pretty great and counters a whole lot. I like to build for money, and then stam with bananas (4 or 5 maybe?) and punching bags and get all the pocket sand and blueberries you can. Blueberries turn into 1 luck per 4s without buffs after 10 mana, and brooms use but don't consume mana, so you can gain 10 mana fast with mana orbs and get 100% crit and hit chance super quickly with a few blueberries and a couple ana orbs. A nice easily attainable build I like to use is to go for a hero sword first, then add a second broom after you've gotten 3-4 bananas/stam potions. Two brooms in as many fanny packs as possible and connected by 3x gloves, with the hero sword taking the last slot between the brooms on the end, then two mana orbs next to the hero sword. Then you just fill the rest of the mana orb activation spots with bananas or whatever. That way, the orbs will be getting the super fast sword and broom activations (like 1.5s and buffed by gloves versus fruit being around 4s) and you'll gain 10 mana almost instantly and then be doing super fast small damage from the mana orbs, gaining a ton of luck from blueberries for 100% crit and hit, getting massive blind on the enemy, etc. So if you can get it rolling, they'll hardly be able to hit you and you'll just be scaling your activation speed on the already fast brooms, which makes the mana orbs and blueberries scale with the them. It seems to usually out dps poison builds and anything that relies on hitting you is nearly a guaranteed win. Vampirism gets countered hard. Thorns aren't too awful bad usually, either. I've beaten some really wild looking builds with this and it's probably my favorite build atm. I think it's way better than lightsabors or any other source of blind, and it seems a lot better than any other staff, probably a little better than the magic staff imo. Super strong, very fun.
Backpack Battles is a fantastic game. Probably my favorite auto-battler on the market now. I hope they keep up with regular content/additions. By keeping their art style simple, they are probably limited mostly in developer effort and bug fixing.

Yeah I go for food builds and I’ve been winning consistently by constantly applying poison
If you prioritize luck/crit, the ranger is very strong. I'm Gold 98 with her - 10-win over 50% of my games.
