@@adamc5057living in Germany like I do, things are different in some places ;-) So the term „go to jail speed“ does not actually mean going to jail.. Speed always depends on the environment, other cars, the weather… Of course, 30mph in a ‚Spielstraße‘ („play street“, a restricted street where cars have to go as slow as possible and have absolutely no right of way) are way to much, but 30mph in town is fine and on the Autobahn, you are not allowed to go that slow, minimum speed is 60km/h (~37mph). 120mph is nothing special here, no one comes home and tells everyone that he was going ‚an incredible 120mph‘. You start to talk at ~160mph 😉 So yes, I celebrate these speeds because at times, when there is not a lot traffic and I‘m on the Autobahn, I can drive at 130mph for about 20-30min in some sections without any problems. I love Tesla (since the Roadster) and the Model S, but the Taycan is much more fun to drive, especially in the curves and when using the breaks. I'd say Tesla is no 1 when it comes to Tech and acceleration, but not really when it comes to driving dynamics and quality.
"I'd say Tesla is no 1 when it comes to Tech and acceleration" Not even that, Battery Tech is the Taycan way ahead (Rimac Tech actually) and acceleration, well. 50% more HP doesn't mean much. Yeah! Let's celebrate people hitting "go tot jail" speeds on public streets! It's almost like those laws are to protect people but I say WHO CARES!?!?! AM I RIGHT!?!?!?
You start to talk at ~160mph 😉
So yes, I celebrate these speeds because at times, when there is not a lot traffic and I‘m on the Autobahn, I can drive at 130mph for about 20-30min in some sections without any problems. And when I want and there is a stretch without corners, I sometimes go a bit quicker 😘
Looks so effortless. Insane
The plaid is so fun to drive!
Haven’t even seen the roadster yet either, sheesh. Must admit it’s impressive.
The roadster won’t even be that impressive by the time it actually launches… it was announced in 2017
You actually still think the Roadster will see daylight?
@@Alan-ww8vi I think so. I feel like Tesla knows that it’s like a big part of their trump card so they wanna make sure production on it is perfect as can be, especially at the price point. I do know Tesla has had some reputation of over delivering, even if it’s late, but then again they’ve also prob never experienced as much demand as they are now. I also like to be optimistic as I do plan to buy one.
What voltage you running bro?
It’s the future sadly
That asphalt sound 🔥
Wow! Really amazing. I won’t sleep tonight, maybe even all week 🤦♂️
I love Tesla (since the Roadster) and the Model S, but the Taycan is much more fun to drive, especially in the curves and when using the breaks. I'd say Tesla is no 1 when it comes to Tech and acceleration, but not really when it comes to driving dynamics and quality.
I agree
"I'd say Tesla is no 1 when it comes to Tech and acceleration" Not even that, Battery Tech is the Taycan way ahead (Rimac Tech actually) and acceleration, well. 50% more HP doesn't mean much. Same HP like the Turbo S vs. the previous "fastest" Tesla (with even slightly more HP than the Porsche) has shown that pretty well. If Porsche would build a 1k HP Taycan, it would blast the Tesla out of the water again.
@@xahst If you want a street car, 150HP is more then enough. And about the 50% more HP, re-read the phrase and try to understand the context.
I was in a Model s p90d and it launched so hard so I can only imagine what the Plaid feels like!
Beautiful mustang !
What amkes the plaid so crazy is how as it gains speed it pulls even harder
I know many people likes EVs, I think they're great too. But they're as interesting as a toaster.
Cope harder
Interest is subjective
@@ogzombieblunt4626 as someone who lives in a country where fuel is so much higher than the rest of the world EVs are the most reliable solution for me.
But as I said they're as Interesting as a fucking toaster and I'll ride my beat up 2 stroke than a fucking computer on wheels.
@@Evander42117 true. But have you ever talked to someone with an EV? Those muthafakkas are cringy bro, one guy critisied me for riding a motorcycle. I think most of my hate goes to EV owners(They're not cars) rather than the EV itself.
That exhaust note 😩😩 so good
like a rollercoaster😮
That looks seriously quick.
Wow, that’s about exciting as watching paint dry.
Nice cope tho
@@notlxrd2lmfao you just love boring shit dont you
@@notlxrd2No ones coping, EVs are a scam.
@@rulingmoss5599 oh yeah? How come
Tesla😍😍😍😍👌🏆🍷
goddamn that thing is quick
The sound of the porsche ❤️
That Porsche guy must've looked in the wing mirror and probably went "Ohhhh fu-"
That Mustang was badass 😋
It's a regular Mustang petrol fanboy trying to fit in 🤡🤣

Iam not stupid. I mean the Boxer sound. Very quiet but its there
Damn thats quick!!!

That sounded amazing! Shook every bone in my body 😂
lol
And that's a real car right there, awesome !
It’s cool n all but I gotta hear that big blower v8 sound sorry!
Silent but deadly! ☠️
Battery fires are deadly yes.
That Stang sounded badass
MASHAALLAH. May Allah give you more. Ameen ❤️
The best way to describe a Tesla launch, its similar to the feeling you get when you launch on fast motorcycle. 4,000lbs missile.
I was so distracted by the wonderful GT500 sound to notice anything else.
Nobody gives a sh8t
Same! I rewatch a couple times just to see and hear it again. XD
Sounds great 😬
Looks like a Rollercoaster! Amazing job this must be awd no wheel spin!
Awesome car. Wish I could afford a regular Tesla. But I never understood the point of launching any cars after a car show. Last 2 shows I went police were hiding in every street around the meet. There is no point in going to these meets anymore other than looking for trouble.
what town?
@@flisko123 all the ones in Austin Taxes and surrounding areas. Some worse than others. A few months back one meet had 10 officers. All of them huddle together and didn’t make much conversation with anyone but themselves. What’s the point on going ? This show mostly attended by 50 + yr olds. No shenanigans from drivers.
Does anybody watch Formula E? 😂
Not a single soul.
Nope
Just saw one of these things go by the other day. My car is no slouch (~480 WHP WRX FBO) however when I tried to race him I might as well have been sitting still lol. This thing is stupid fast
You Hear that Lovely Mustang! Thats a Car!
For the people wondering about the specs, here they are..
2004-06 996 Carrera 4s Cabriolet 315 HP/ 273 lb-ft of Torque
2022 Tesla Plaid 1101.2 HP/ 1227 Nm of Torque converted to 905.4 ft lb
2022 Ford Mustang GT 450 HP/ 410 lb·ft of Torque
wow am I the only one that thought this would be a troll
Tesla will see the scrapheap long before the other two.
So many haters lol. They wanna hear vroom vroom
Of course. Not everyone is gay
Vroom > Sleep induced battery fire
That Tesla sounds crazy
Insane! 👍
