The K&N body on that RC makes it one of the coolest-looking RCs ever, imo. Looked great fun to drive too - those power slides around the circular 'track' were akin to driving a drift car.

Nice little Rip, Beautiful day and a great location. Looks like problem solved. RC Guy once had a runaway on an electric RC and turned out to be the receiver had some moisture inside causing it to short and go full throttle. On to the next project.👍

First of all these modern 2.4 GHZ systems don't really care about that at all, your response was perfect, plus there are many many cars with systems being much closer ahah. Def not the issue you had. BTW are those M3 wheels on your Beemer? Love them
For EMF you can have static, very low frequencies, or even radio frequencies. They make emf detectors, they even have a phone app for emf testing, however I have no idea how accurate that would be. As usual love the content, thanks for the info!!!

Ok bro, watching the video. Well you seem to have eliminated the problem receiver and it's tuning fine now. Pretty much as I expected, it's usually the receiver. Great video and great runs! BTW regarding the interference, that's a non-issue for modern 2.4ghz systems, but I will tell you that the KILLER RC kill-switches come with magnets around the wire to the magneto and kill button. That is something that can maybe be testable, but then agian you're never gong to operate in such situations where I think a positive test result will be obvious from the magnets..
damn I need to find a spot like that for mine! Also believe that is why the servo wires and the wire for the kill switch from the coil have ferrite cores on them to help reduce EMI interference from the motor.
Glad she's running well. Those gremlins can be elusive. Maybe if you catch a moment you could look at King Motor Challenger. Looks like a cost effective clone to the Losi SBR. It's hard for some to afford a Losi SBR, but that Challenger is within reach. Maybe I'll win that beautiful Limitless and not have to worry about it. Great video!

I believe stereo item is called a ground loop isolator. And its great the kill switch works now. Always shocked by the size of the RC. Nice after credit drop, that'll be an insane rc it will Def need a Maxx4 12s combo.
@@earlmoorhead5555 with all the components on them boards could be any one or more of them gone wrong .if you find out which one it is, it isnt a viable option to fix them. ive built a few guitar effects pedals and they can be a pain to solder up and the parts are nowhere near as small as the parts in the receivers,,

we used to test old alternators by putting the tip of a non-magnetized screwdriver against the bearing cover on the back of the alternator, while the vehicle was running, if it stuck to the cover like a magnet, it was working, I dont know if you can test for an electromagnetic field by hanging a magnet from a string and put it near the magneto cover and see if it repels/attracts the magnet ? I am not knowledgeable enough in electromagnetic fields to know if it can be tested for in such a way, just the first thing that popped into my head
Out of all the rc cars you have is there one you prefer over the others or a favorite or one that stands out above the rest as in quality of parts or in over all performance
My xmaxx has always been my go to rc for ease and fun but hard to replace a gas rc car being a mechanic I love the work and enjoyment it brings to the hobby 💯💯
@@earlmoorhead5555 I been watching your videos and trying to decide on a kit to get I’ve narrowed it down to three the tlr Typhoon roller the slash nitro kit or all out for the keosho mp10 I keep jumping back and fourth on those 3 going to get one of those next I was thinking if I get the tlr roller I’d get all Traxxas electronics just because I don’t think no one else has will see wich one I get in a couple days

Mt 410 a great kit to build and has a lot of support for me but a nitro slash is definitely a blast 👍👍
