Every time Wang hit a deep angle shot to Fan's backhand, it resulted in a disastrous punishment. It's so unbelievable.
cuz Fan changed his blade recently and his backhand "seemed" not strong anymore. So Wang thought his chance is coming. But now Fan got used to his new blade and then basically slaughtered Wang.
Also Fan let Ma win recently in China. Let's see whether he will give in to Ma this time.
@@MrCooperscoopersI don’t think he “let” Ma long won, as you said fan prolly did not get soo used to his blade when he lost to ma long. Ma played a good game. Hopefully they go at each other this time at the finals!!

FZD is my favorite but nobody is beating Ma Long this tournament. The guy is in top form and Fan is struggling against Truls.

这场半决赛不能说王楚钦发挥得不好，也不是王实力不够强，只能说樊振东太硬了！霸气，精气神都十足，樊很难被打穿，本身实力、基本功扎实，正反手都好，没有什么漏洞，一般情况下，王与其他对手表示中，都会被王偷袭几个长球发球，这一点，樊准备的非常到位，樊的反手快撕就像鞭子一样，干脆利落，还有反手拧拉技术也是炉火纯青，个人认为王对马龙的胜率估计会高一些，而马龙基本上现在也是英雄寂寞，但是退役之前的王皓可是马龙的苦主，而张继科又克王皓，张继科后期对马龙的胜率又不大，总之，国乒是真正进入了全盛时期，可喜可贺！

FZD has got ultra fine ball control, short or deep, left and right plus BIG powerful BH cannon drives and blocks. FH's like supersonic missles, simply untouchable/unstoppable/unplayable. But don't get me wrong, WCQ's playing his best but just can't match the same level. It'll be an exhilirating final between FZD and ML. ML's playing like a 18 y.o. incredibly consistent, cool and focused. Admire him for his unmatched ability to quickly find the opponent's weakness then totally exploit them. Might this be the only difference/edge between him and FZD but Fan's got so much power and excellent ball control, ( 1:15 ) to counter as well. Best wishes to both not matter what. We all know the age of big sweeping forehands has been slowly disappearing since Zhang Jike’s era/new ball era but this match definitively tells the tale of today’s play style of backhand dominance. These players have gotten to a caliber where they’re quick to the draw close to table or send rockets from afar just using backhands. Times really have changed.

In the recent WTT games, there were many flashes on the court, especially for the Chinese table tennis player Wang Chuqin. In the final of the wtt Macau Championship on October 23, 2022, when Wang Chuqin was playing Fan Zhendong 3-3,10-5, there was flashing light interference in the stand facing Wang Chuqin; On October 29, 2022, during the wtt Xinxiang World Cup Finals, Wang Chuqin played against Ma Long. During the match, there were several flashlights, which interfered with Wang Chuqin's service. On March 18, 2023, wtt Singapore Grand Slam Tournament, Wang Chuqin against Fan Zhendong, in the first set, the third set, and even the fifth set, Wang Chuqin in front of the high frequency flashing flash, affecting the return of the ball, even after the player reflected it was not stopped. According to spectators, during Fan's match against Moregard Truls and Fan's match against Lim Jonghoon, both opponents also experienced flashing lights and complained to referees. The competition among players should be benign. For malicious slander of fans or low-quality fans, it is hoped that the association can fully communicate with WTT to better help manage such incidents. This is a very bad and malignant influence. This has never happened to me before . I'm unable to even see FZD backhand shots . They are too fast for the camera .
Wang needs to find a way to outsmart Fan Zhendong, powers rallys are not the way to go.
That would have been one amazing comeback if Fan had tied the 4th set.

Wang beat Fan 3-0 the last time they played.
@@milothecat3213 , their last international encounter was at the end of last year (WTT Champions Macao) where Wang beat Fan 4-3. That was the first time Wang beat Fan in quite a long period of time. You're probably referring to Ma Long beating Fan 3-0 a few weeks ago in the finals of the China trials for WTTC.
Fan's right on top of every shot Wang makes, returning them with interest. Unplayable. I was glad Wang managed to take a game for all his efforts. Wang is an amazing player, but Fan is simply at a higher level. Perhaps only Ma can be at the same level too.

Ма Лун всегда готов подключить чоп-блок, Трулс показал, как этим замучить Фана. А добив после чоп-блока у Ма Луна всяко получше будет.

I did not expect Wang Chuqin to be outclassed this much. I actually expected Wang Chuqin to win, given Fan Zhendong's relatively average performance in yesterday's match against Truls Moregard.

4:1不能说明实力差不多, 4:3才算. 如果某人老是打你4:0, 4:1的, 即使每局比方接近也说明对方水平比你高200到300分. 每局比分近只能说明对方是相对的play safe.

You clearly don't play table tennis. If you didn't realize how some points were won by slowing down the ball, changing spin and targeting certain angles.
@@zeleony05 I said it exactly related my experiences. If review the match against Moregard he used a lot of tactics changes.
@@hamidsh414 Moregard slows down the ball so he can punch it. These guys slow loops slow balls too. It's a different game. They are counter drivers, yet they also have great touch for all around tempos. Why do you think Truls struggle against them. If they just drive like robots, then they would have never beat Truls.
