Ok, I was definitely wrong about the shaders. They actually look really good and don't take away from the tutorial aspect of the videos at all.
Thats awesome! I turned down the bloom and blur effects that are options so it is way less intrusive than most shaders :) Super hyped you like it!
@@RagePlaysGames I think that might be what did it. I've always found them a bit overbearing because of the crazy bloom some of them have.
Fun Fact: you don't need covers for the crafters, giving it a redstone pulse will start the craft, even with empty slots!
This. Covers are nice if you want to run a few batches of a given thing; but if all you're doing is a one-off, just slap a button on one of the crafters and call it a day.
Ah very good point, completely forgot to cover that :) but yes, redstone can replace the need for the covers so for one off crafting like the circuit we made, redstone would be ideal so you dont have to spend brass on covers. Thanks for the heads up!
amazing!! i did not know that!
You stole my line!
@@perodactyl490 lol!
Anyone else distracted by the fact there isn't a door to his house and is constantly looking out for creepers on his minimap? Just me? Okay... :P :D
Gotta keep myself and the viewers on our toes ;) plus if a creeper walks into the base it makes good content haha
That "eating" sound when used in the context of sanding sounds like a rubbing/scratching sound. I really like that.
I really like how it looks with the shaders, its so cool!!
I the like shaders just... my pc is too bad to even run those.
Yess!!! Love your vids!!!
Hey, glad ya like em! :)
There are a lot of good Minecraft CZcamsrs around. Some are nothing but an infomercial for their Patreon account. Some run through the building like it's a speed run. But you my friend are my favorite go to resource for when I want to understand the mod, and answer the what, why and how to build. Thank you!
just a tip, the saw allows you to make better use of your wood and andesite alloys. you get 50% more shafts per alloy. you get 25% more wood from stripped logs.
Ah very cool, thanks for the heads up! :)
I am following along in the play through and it worked! I did it right! Thank you! All in survival!
Hey thats great! Good job :)
Noticed the shaders as soon as the video started. Huge visual and graphical difference between the lighting and the way the water looks. Love your videos man
Thank you for this series. I’m playing Brass right now off camera to learn create and your videos help. I wish I could learn all of it from you but I’m ahead of the series already 🤟
Hey no problem! I suspected a lot of people would be ahead of me since I got a late start on the series after Create 0.3 came out, but hopefully we will still be able to cover some cool intricate builds that people havent thought of yet down the line :)
Love your vids, keep it up!
Thanks, will do! Super excited to keep putting this series out!
this guy is so underrated
this guy deserves more than mos of the minecraft youtubers
I am loving this series, you give so many good tips
Super glad to hear it! I try my best to cover the little things other people may have left out even though its sometimes super random stuff haha.
The shaders are making the deepest in your video!
Love the shader! It’s just right and I love how the lanterns actually sway back and forth. I would not be disappointed if you had to lose them when the builds start getting large. That would be totally understandable. As always great content!
Same here! The lanterns swaying back and forth is such a cool detail :) one of my favorite parts of it honestly.
love this series! I can tell this will blow up
Note: it whould be better if u started from a completely new world instead of already haveing your stuff
I believe the shaders really bring it together. Honestly I love how it, and create, can make minecraft feel that much more realistic 👍
I totally agree! Create has such awesome visuals and this is just the icing on the cake. First time I've just sat in my base in MC looking out the window cuz it looks so great haha.
Love the shaders and the base
Been waiting for this!
i knew belts could be used to transfer items but i never knew you could use them to transfer motion but it makes sense that you should be able to
Honestly however it works for you I'll like it.
my man u r so underated!
if you don't want to use the brass covers you can use a redstone signal (like a button) to jump start the crafting process.
Very true! The redstone signal is a good workaround for one off crafting with a partial recipe where you can just slap a button down and hit it when you want to craft the item.
I know you have a link to the Create mod in the description, but could you include a link for the modpack you're using? I want to play with the same group of mods you are, but I'm really bad at putting together packs
Very cool
The shaders ramp up video quality that's why I voted for shaders
the create wrench is one of the best wrenches for technical mods most mods that have an own wrench does not have so much functionality as the create one
So i am trying to make the Rotation Speed Controller but the recipe has changed drastically, please make an updated video on this.
Hey, love the shaders, I've been using the same ones for a while, but optifine causes collision issues with create, so once you get into elevators and whatnot, it can cause some issues. I'm am playing around with create right now, and I figured this would be pretty important information that you should know. This was a serious problem in the 1.14 version you did your last create series on, and its very likely that they didn't fix it in the new update. I would prefer that you keep the shaders on, but since they cause issues down the line, it's probable not the best idea in the long run.
I have had no problems using optifine with create
@@destiny_5540 it’s not something you notice until later down the line
I've been playin create with optifine for a few months now and no problems. Maybe a problem with your computer/minecraft?
It does seem like they fixed some of, if not all the issues in the new update. I did check 1.14 prior to using this in the video in our old Create 0.2 series and saw the exact issues you describe like the windmill flipping out while spinning. I have gone and tested this windmills in a test world with 1.16 and the lighting seems to have no issues now so hopefully that applies to all the other issues from 1.14 too :)
Did u use oculus and rubidium to put in shaders?
I find immersive engineering useful for making the alloys without having to go to the nether and hazard falling into lava. Don't get me wrong, create is pretty cool, but I really wish we had a simpler alternative to blaze burners, like having camp fires do the same thing but slow down the mixing process.
i think we need a surviving with create 0.5 now
:)
i guess i'm playing on a different version of create cause the integrated circuit doesn't exist, instead a precision mechanism is used for the rotation speed controller..
Newer version
The shaders are hittin just right
Thats great! I absolutely love them and cant wait to see how they look with even more Create stuff like windmills and their shadows.
yey another episode
Thank broo
59 likes, 0 dislikes? Wow you are underrated
Thanks :) I am already so lucky with the supportive viewers I have and am amazed at how well each new video does.
From what I know you can put a redstone signal to forcefully start the crafting in mechanical crafters without using any covers. btw shaders look gorgeous 😘
You are correct! So redstone is most likely the easiest way to go about doing 1 off crafting like this where you can just stand there and hit a button to start it.
BSL in my opinion are the best shaders. Playing Minecraft in any form, modded or Vanilla is a whole new experience when you add shaders and a resource pack. Also to note, as far FPS goes, if you have the right settings a lot of times you can get BETTER FPS with shaders than without. Especially in big modpacks. I have a low end PC and still run shaders and a resource pack and am able to run just about any modpack I choose. :)
If you wanted it to just start crafting something after receiving the stuff to make it would the mechanical crafter do that? because I'm using mods and if it would do that it would be amazing the recipe would be one I made myself using a mod and the recipe would be making a modded recipe
When the mod updates so that lapis sheets don't exist, and you have to do some complicated process that you don't understand, but there isn't a well-explained tutorial for it:
*Confused Screaming*
i like the shaders
no matter who i watch how many videos i see i still dont get it i haven't downloaded it yet cause i want to learn first but its frustrating when i see whats going on but my mind just doesn't render it anyways awesome video
I was worried about the shaders idea, I've seen a few lately that just blow the lighting too much to see what's happening (and beyond shaders to RTX raycasting, I actually find RTX Minecraft looks awful unless it's at night and with minimal light sources)
Yet either due to the one you've chosen, or the settings you've used, this one is quite subtle and not too bloomy at all, and with a wooden environment makes it just that little bit warmer indoors, as it were. [edit to say : so, my vote is - carry on if these are the settings you're keeping :) ]
With regard to you covering what other 'tubers have done as tutorials: The thing is, although they give good [often lengthy] "showcase all the things" vids, I watched your series on the previous version _Surviving with_ and learnt more about the mod than from either of the proper "spotlight" series I watched elsewhere, as you put all the machinery into action in a real working environment - and you do this step by step in the "correct" progression. The same with your Mechanism series I watched last week.
Haha I actually specifically removed all bloom effects because i too find it just wayyyyy too much, so im glad you like that! I love the warm indoor feel and actually love just runnin around the base since it looks so great with all the Create stuff spinning and lanterns swaying.
Im super glad you like the video format too :) It definitely seems others are trying to break into the survival tutorial world, but hopefully the video format wont become too saturated for its own good on youtube.
This is so much easier than surviving with Mekanism
how did you use optifine with create mod when i do that it crashes my game and says Ticking Block
i feel like making the crafter go to the center is much cooler
Can you still 'eject' the crafted item that way?
I agree, but they will just get stuck in stasis in the crafters going back and forth and nothing happens
It definitely is, but if i am correct if you feed it into itself it doesn't pop the item out.
OMG im you big fanne
Rage why don't you configure the Mechanical crafters to end up combining in the center of the multiblock to speed up the process by 80% having less distance to traverse ? It was a question of mine since create 0.2
If you push it into the center, the items just bounce around and dont form since the center has to point somewhere. If the center crafter points up, the crafter above that points down to initially feed into the middle and then the items bounce up and down indefinitely.
@@RagePlaysGames I didn't know that
I'm playing the cave factory modpack and for the life of me could not figure out how to get my crafter working, I've never used the create mod before so it was a challenge an in the modpack the only source for turning the wheels you have to start off with is windmills.
How u get the shaders to work optifine or oculus and rubidium .
Balls second again - always the bridesmaid, never the bride :(
Someday... someday ;)
1) I like the added crafter covers
2) the shader is very nice and honestly not distracting.
Awesome! Seems everyone is liking them which is great since I too love them.
how do u use shaders i cant use optifine with create and the glsl shaders mod is not updatet to 1.18.1
I actually also use shaders with create best shader for create it complementary
Rage have you heard of the MechanicalCrafters SMP? Perhaps you can join them. Perhaps you can live stream the smp while you do your video series??
I have heard of them! Rockit reached out to me a week ago to ask if i'd be interested and I told him I absolutely would have said yes had I not just started this series. Unfortunately, their modpack is just Create 0.3 and some decorative / food mods and I cant justify having 2 only Create 0.3 series as there will be too much overlap in video content. I did say if they ever planned on doing future content, I would love to join in.
@@RagePlaysGames Aww that's a shame. I understand your reasonings though. I do hope you do join the MechaniCrafters one day! Even if it is only a streaming series than regular videos
@@RagePlaysGames If it isn't too much, why not put it up as a poll in the future?
RagePlaysGames do you still use OptForge with OptFine?
Right now I just have optifine in the mod folder, no optiforge like i did in the last series.
What do I do if the strees gets to high??
I can't place blocks into the mechanical crafter, when I try to place them, they are placed in front of the mechanical crafter
Is there a way to make it mass craft a recipe? Aka a stack of an item at a time?
Nah, just gotta speed it up to increase the rate of each single craft.
shader are cool
I'm actually playing Skyopolis where Create is also in, and it is SUCH a delightful mod... BUT! For the love of me, I CAN'T make crushing wheels. I did everything, followed the instructions, all, but when it gets to the last block, instead of creating the wheels, it just spits out the items and creates nothing. :(
what shaders do you use?
BSL Shaders
you can just use a single lapis to get the sheet, no need to use up a full block
JEI doesnt show that recipe and I tried it anyway, but it doesnt work. You may be playing on a prior version or in a modpack where the recipe is altered, but in the current Create 0.3 mod, you need to use the block.
the mechanical crafter stalls and says there is too much stress as soon as i attach another mechanical crafter. i cannot figure it out and im slowly discovering how frustrating this mod is
Each crafter block itself impact the stress requirements based off the speed, so it is entirely possible you dont have enough stress capacity to support that last one, thus bogging down the whole system when you add it. You can use a stressometer and engineers goggles to check the overall network stress, which will show you how much you have to work with and where you may be going wrong.
RTX ON
YESSSSSS
I was the thousandth like :)
I have a problem when I try to create the shredder wheel it does the animation to create the object but when it reaches the end the objects are thrown everywhere someone tells me what I did wrong
i have same issue do u find the solution??
@@dumbass3766 has to be stone cant be cobble i had the same problem
I though rose quartz was flat iron or they updated the recipe
I ended up having to stop midway through because my computer decided to start using the wrong graphics card lol
Fun fact: I got this mod just so I can mess up the tutorials :]
00:00
when will you do actual gameplay of Create 0.3 instead of covering stuff
Sorry, but im not sure what ya mean since this is all gameplay of Create 0.3 stuff.
@@RagePlaysGames bruh
idk how to explain ;-;
i mean something like previous series (Create 0.2 or something)
It’s always over stressed even tho I’m under 16 rpm
18:28 please help i put everything correctly but items just pop out
Sadly the only reason items will pop out is if the recipe is wrong. This could be because not all the crafters push items into eachother or simply because the recipe is in general incorrect.
@@RagePlaysGames Yeah i messed up,i was putting zinc ores instead of andesite alloy lol
3:32 haa
why do ppl like to use belts so much to transfer power? shafts are so much cooler and you can right-click with casings on them to hide them and the don't use power
Belts... are somewhat cheap? I guess?
While I do enjoy shafts, I also like a nice healthy split between the different methods :) in this case we needed 2 shafts and 1 belt for what otherwise would need 2 gearboxes and 3-4 shafts (dont have the video open right now to count the distance haha) so i felt it was a good chance to show how to simply use belts for rotational power. I feel they have much more merit when it comes to diagonal power transfer.
My Mod Create Plus is now fresh updated. Can you please add it to the series ?
This.. kind of feels like an act. I came for a survival world but all I got is setting up machines with materials in a chest ready to be used in crafting. I haven't really seen anything but crafting so far. This basically isn't survival, it's just creative with extra steps.
If youd like to watch hours of mining and crafting footage I have livestreams saved to my channel where I do just that for extended periods of time, but sadly 99% of people dont want to watch busywork for majority of the videos. This is a survival world and the series is meant to show the natural progression of machines and their uses in survival whereas creative doesnt do either of those as you can spawn in anything that has a pre-requisite. If I was in creative id never do this episode as the mechanical crafters server no purpose as I can simply spawn in crushing wheels to show an ore processing setup or a rotation speed controller for any number of builds.
@@RagePlaysGames Okay, I get it now. Sorry for the complaint.
Thanks for making me miserable. Because my pc barely runs minecraft and shaders no way.

Please turn off the shaders
You sound like the gay pinnochio lol
