    Hey! I also go to Nightingale and this is my first semester and I love your videos, they’re truly helpful!
    With your spreadsheet, do you do a little of each class each day or do you try to do one class at a time? Im having a hard time with learning because of all the information and spending hours on one class only!

    • @thepinknurse_
      @thepinknurse_  Před 4 lety +2

      Kriszha Angelo I am the same way! I found myself spending a lot of time on one class. So what I do is, I make a weekly plan. I write out all the material I need to cover and then I split it up into days. I usually try to do one class each day. Starting with the most important first. It’s a lot. But it helps when you schedule it out.

    Hey girl I just started at nightingale- taking A&P this semester plus a writing class. I’m having so much trouble keeping up with the assignments. I don’t know how I’m supposed to teach myself 1-2 chapters for each science class every week, plus actually study and memorize the material, plus the weekly quizzes and assignments. I’m getting by because the quizzes aren’t proctored, but I don’t know how I’m going to do it when exam time comes bc i don’t have enough time to study once im actually done teaching myself all the material from each chapter.
    Please helpppp

      @thepinknurse_  Před rokem

      Hey girl! I feel your pain. It is a lot of work to have on your plate. What I used to do is plan out my entire week and focus on my assignments first. I would do the busywork first and then I would go back and review the material. You have to find a flow that works good for you. I am a visual and auditory learner so I have to watch videos in order to learn. I suggest looking up the subjects you are learning for the week and just watching a ton of videos on it before you do anything else.

    That is how we are doing it at my current college so I may be misunderstood

      We were suppose to start in the summer of 2020 but COVID happened and that effected our in person clinical. We are still doing online clinical but with stimulations. They have programs that lets you assess patients and helps you critical think. Of course it’s not the same as in person, but im just grateful that I can still complete the program through this pandemic. Thanks for watching love!💕

I have transferable credits in 2 psychology courses, English 100, algebra, philosophy, a&p 1&2 with labs, biology with labs, statistics, chem with lab, and medical terminology.

      Hey girl!!! I currently go to nightingale college. It’s an online BSN program. They offer the pre reqs as well. It would be cheaper to do your pre reqs at a community college, most schools offer online now because of COVID. But nightingale is the only online nursing school that I’ve heard of. I hope this helps. Good luck to you love!

    Hello, would you happen to have any advise.... so I got to an accelerated online BSN program. The 16 week semester is broken up into 2, 8 week terms. I am having troubles with finding time to study. With all of the course work that is assigned (which is a lot, a 7-10 of paper each week in each class, and other stuff)..I find myself strictly focusing on that, but not really actually studying the material.. I work during the day, so I do all my work at night when my kids are sleep. Any tips or advice?

      @thepinknurse_  Před 4 lety

      Hello!
      Omg! I totally understand you. It is so hard to manage school work, a job, and kids. What I would do is make a schedule for everything in your life and be very strict with it. Literally schedule our everything! From work, to study time, to spending time with your kids, to sleep. You have to have designated times to study and focus only on that. As far as the material. I usually prioritize what’s more important. Some classes are worth more than others. I mean they are all important, but what do you need to get done first. What needs more of your attention. I always try to get my hardest work done first to get it out the way. I use google calendar for everything. I was actually going to make a video on that later this week! I know it’s a struggle for a lot of people including myself! Anyways. Good luck to you. You got this love!
