- This video is probably the hardest video I’ve made. I almost didn’t want to share this experience because it’s so personal and vulnerable.
I created this channel to take you guys along my nursing journey and I would be fake if I didn’t show it all. Failing my nclex has been extremely hard. I have gone through a lot emotionally after graduating with my BSN last year. Through this experience I have learned that failure is part of the journey. I am embracing every part of my journey to becoming a nurse, even the tough moments.

Hey guys I am here to say please do not give up! I was a repeat tester as well. Let me tell u what I did to pass..
1. I made a study schedule. I used Remar, Uworld, and Mark Klimek
2. Prayed and fast!
3. I would close my eyes and invision me with my nursing u inform on and How I would react once I passed the Nclex etc.. So basically I was putting positive energy in the atmosphere. You are delayed but not denied! U got this💪🏾✨❤
I remember failing the first time . But please if you are reading this , know that everything is working out for you . Trust me . I look back now I am beyond happy I failed . Failure means you’re close to GREATNESS✨💫

Thank you as well. I failed the NCLEX-PN a 5th time on 6/26. 😢I'm trying so hard as well. I did much better then the 4th time. I even got 2 Above, 8 near, and 6 below in areas

Girl, I know it's hard. But never give up! I passed my nclex after the 8th time. On the day of the exam, Take your time, if you need to take a break every after 30mins, do it. Do not overwhelm yourself, you need to breathe. During your review do not force yourself to do a lot of questions like what others did. Take your time to read the rationales and understand them.

I am in the same situation. God sees our efforts. I will also be taken next gen. Don’t loose faith. I will be taking a remediation course because it’s required by my state. If you could get a tutor or pay for someone who has experience in this area would be awesome. That way your progress can be tracked and your weaknesses can be identified. I am praying that we both pass this NCLEX in Jesus name 🙏🏽
The NextGen nclex is coming up soon🥺and I just fail the exam on my second attempt🥺🥺🤦♂️💔,I cannot begin to articulate the level of embarrassment and heartache I'm feeling right now 🤕😣,I'm confident that I will be a good nurse too. I just need to get past this too and move on. 😥😪
So sorry to hear you guys complain deeply of failing the exam. But I will assure you that Nclex exam won't be a problem to you anymore,if you work with someone like Mrs ELISABETH HELEN. She help me through my exam and I made it through.

Really, you'll know her Too? I even thought I was the only one she has helped walk through the fears and falls of NCLEX Exam, Mrs ELISABETH has brought me out of the trenches and to a better living, I encourage repeat test taker to work with her.
After using uworld twice and failing, I never knew i could ever pass the NCLEX but today I am very happy, I just passed my NCLEX on my third attempt with a great help from Miss ELISABETH HELEN.
I just got second fail email today. It may be a blessing in disguise. I rushed my second test because I didn't want to take the new gen test. It honestly appears more realistic, and the critical thinking appears easier to me than the play on words I seen on the old test. You got this, no need to feel embarrassed. Its just a test, nothing more; nothing less

I’m going through the same exact thing. I just failed for the fourth time. I got all 145 questions so I know I was close again🙄. Now my depression is at an all time high 😩😭. I feel like giving up. My life has been on hold because of this test. It’s been a year since finishing school. I’m devastated but it feels a little better knowing I’m not the only one going through this and gives me a little more motivation to see that you’re not giving up and that I shouldn’t give up either. Trust me, I know this feeling all too well. Every single fail is so devastating. It makes me scared of the exam. I can understand why people don’t want to go through this again, but we cannot give up. That is not an option. We already went through nursing school and put in so much time and money for this career. We have to move forward and find a way. I know that going through this feels very isolating especially when you see other people passing. But just know you are not alone. Nclex exams won't bother you or be a problem if you work with someone like Mrs Margaret... She's God sent, she saved me from taking the test for the 6th time

It's never easy failing the NCLEX. Thank you for being vulnerable and talking about your experience. It's something that is NEVER talked about. I failed twice at 145 questions both times. It was extremely discouraging, especially after knowing the time and effort that was put into studying. I eventually passed on my third attempt. Keep up the positive attitude and determination. This is only a delay, not a denial!
There is so much pressure going into taking the NCLEX, you are in my prayers! I graduate nursing school in May and my family already has a good a big party planned and they don’t seem to understand why I’m not excited. I don’t want to celebrate too soon and end up not being able to pass the NCLEX 😢😢. I’m sure you will pass on your next attempt ❤️

Feeling so defeated:(i studied hard all week, stayed up until 1 am. Woke up at 7 and worked until 4. Created a practice test with 100 questions. Did it. Checked my answers. Went back and analyzed what i did wrong. All for nclex:(i think that i was just so tired by the end of it all that i just wanted to be done. I'm hopeful that i can bounce back but right now I just feel like crying

I'm so sorry to hear about your struggles with the NCLEX. I'll be graduating in May, and hope to take the NCLEX as soon as I can after that. I've mostly been listening to Nurse Mike on the Simple Nursing CZcams channel. He uses repetition and rhymes that really help me remember a lot of this stuff. I just listen to his videos over and over and over (when I'm driving, when I'm doing chores around the house, etc). Best of luck to you!

I’m glad you were able to make this video. I also have bad test anxiety and need to pass the NCLEX due to financial need for my family and I feel so embarrassed that I haven’t passed. But like you said we have this mountain that we have to overcome and yes one day we will look back and be like “ that was one hell of a obstacle but we finally made it!!”

Hi! I Just want to let you know, how refreshing it was to see this video and relate to it so much. I agree, I don’t think is the knowledge portion or the content, i think is more so testing strategies and knowing how to answer the questions. I believe with this new generation nclex, with the point system it’ll def be to our advantage! Maybe even getting a tutor who specializes in that will be so helpful! It’s super disappointing to fail, but I know you’ll get to the other side!

Doing that review program help so much not only with retaining information but learning what the nclex is looking for and how to answer nclex style questions. I plan on purchasing the RN hurst review when I’m done with my ADN program

Thank you so much! I did the on-demand course. That was for my last attempt. I felt like I learned so much from Dr. Z he did such a good job at breaking everything down. I felt like I learned so much more content than I did before, but I still failed unfortunately. I think my problem is not content but test taking strategies. Did you pass using Dr. Z?

This is so true. When I search up nclex all I see is people passing and 75 questions. It’s very discouraging. When I failed the first time I went on CZcams and tried to find someone that was going through what I was going through and I couldn’t find it. After failing three times I finally decided that I was going to be the one to be transparent and keep it real. Not everyone passes and that’s OK. We will still be amazing nurses. Our journey is just a little longer. Good luck to you! I know we will get there.

You got this Tannya !! From your set up and surroundings I can tell you studied so much and that could be a possible reason for failing. NCLEX is computer adaptive…meaning the whole exam depends on how smart the computer predicts you are. If you do so well on the test questions that the computer uses to determine your competence it will give you very random and tough questions. You know your content, NextGen will be your fit.
You are right. Sometimes I feel like I am studying too much and all of the studying causes me anxiety therefore I do poorly. I need to learn how to relax and how to focus on what the question is actually asking me. Thank you for your advice and for your words of encouragement. I appreciate you!

The way that I got through nursing school and NCLEx was to really study the pathophysiology of the body systems. If you know how respiratory system works, then you can guess the answers a lot of the time. Thats just one example. It works for medications too.
Hi Tannya, l know it's hard but please don't give up, l took nclexhigh yield, the live course l watched the on demand like 7 times, and l prayed to God everyday to help me pass and l always ask God any time lm studying that God please on my day of my exams plse let my answers stick out, and guess what that exactly what God did for me. I also used archer review and it helped me so plse l just want to encourage you that God will show you mercy and let your dream come true.

Keep your chin up and don't let this keep you down! Everyone's nursing journey starts differently. The NCLEX is a very tricky exam and not easy to pass for a lot of test takers. I passed on the first try in 145 questions but I think what helped me a lot was not having any expectations going in. I did not tell anyone that I was taking it except the few friends who told me their test dates so I told them mine in exchange but aside from that, my family and boyfriend did not know when I was taking it. I did have a job lined up in the ICU so there was a little bit of pressure on me to pass but I still went in with no expectations. My test was also a blur but I remember feeling "eh, it's whatever" when walking out. I went to go pee and texted my friends to let them know I finished. I did the PVT in the parking lot and got the good pop-up. Had an incredible surge of adrenaline and relief running through me. Got my "unofficial" pass 2 days later. I started my nursing job on time and ended up being fired from it because I was not progressing in orientation. I worked in LTC to fill the gap and went on many interviews for several months, not hearing back for a while and getting discouraged that I'll be stuck in LTC. I eventually got into the hospital I am at now and it is great but there are still struggles at times. Nursing is full of twists and turns. You WILL eventually pass!! Just keep your eye on the prize.

Everyone always tell what they want to tell or what looks good to everyone but I respect you SO much. I am awaiting to take my 4 nclex. Its very depressing to have to pass up great job opportunities. Girl, I paid for Kaplan. I paid for the really expensive one and I cannot tell you how much it helped me understand how to answer critical thinking questions. so many videos explaining, a 2k+ question bank, a "channel" with tons of content videos, and THEY TRULY TUTOR YOU HOW TO ANSWER THESE QUESTIONS! I failed the first time and then used Kaplan and utilized everything it had to offer and passed the second time in 78 questions. You can do it!!
Yes. Kaplan teaches you how to strategically answer each question. Test taking strategies is how you’ll pass. It’s such a broad exam. Ugh I passed with Kaplan.

I don’t know you but girllll I’m so proud of you for even making this video! I definitely share your pain and feelings. I deal with anxiety and depression as well. I graduated July 2020 and I’m still fighting and struggling with this Nclex. I’ve taken it 7 times and feb 2023, being the most recent. You’re not alone sis but we got this! This is just a storm and a lesson we’re going through. Sometimes I think about giving but I worked so hard to get here and I just don’t know what I’m doing wrong but like you said, everything’s on God’s time and this too shall pass! I admire your resilience and transparency, I really do. I know you know this but I just want to remind you that these experiences will not make you any different than another nurse on the floor. Once you pass and you are a nurse, no one is going to care about all these stuff, they will just care about you as a person and as a nurse, and that is all that matters. Keep going, do not give up. I am so glad I found your channel. I am not a nurse, but I did go through this exact same thing with my teaching exams. I graduated in Dec 2020, but wasn't able to get my license till 2022, because my testing anxiety was so high I kept failing the last two exams I needed. I'm happy to say after switching the exam completely and going with another company, I have passed and have my license now. You will pass it and you will have a great testimony to tell other nurses who are trying to pass the NCLEX(by the way my friend took the NCLEX 6 times before passing it). I agree no one talks about the numerous people that fail it, only about the ones who pass them on the first try.

This test has a way of giving people constant anxiety. We can’t give into it. We have to relax and remind her selves that we are very capable of passing. We can do this. We have already gone through nursing school and we are smart enough to pass. I am rooting for you. We will get that license very soon.
It’s awesome that you are sharing this!! A lot of people feel like they are the worst after failing. The range of emotions that you go through. Know that you WILL pass. You will be a nurse. You made it through the hardest part…SCHOOL! You’ve got this!!! What do you call someone who took the NCLEX multiple times and eventually passes it…A NURSE!!!!

Believe me when I say, I freaking know how you feel!!! Just took my third attempt this past Monday, just found out this morning that I did not pass for my third attempt. I’m on my fourth and final attempt in my state and I know I have bad test taking strategies and I know I need to improve in that as well.

I am also on my last and final attempt. It’s 4 attempts in Nevada and after that I have to test in another state and transfer the license. I really do not want to go through that. The situation we’re in is very hard and challenging but we will get through this. We just have to pick ourselves back up and go even harder the next time. I am rooting for you! Good luck with new Gen! Luckily I passed March before it changed! Idk how I passed I graduated December. Went to boot camp so I didn’t study, came home to a crazy situation so I couldn’t study for the nclex and failed two practice test on Uworld. I realized I had to put my emotions aside and think. Critically think I took my time for the test made it to 135 and found out I passed! I still disbelieve it but I’ll take it. Wish you good luck and prayers

This felt like I was hearing myself talk. I started crying while watching this because it feels so comforting knowing there’s someone who’s in the EXACT same boat as me..grad date, failed attempts n everything you’re feeling. I can feel your frustration and pain so much because it’s literally my anxiety KILLING ME. So much is on hold and on the stakes but like you said this too shall pass! You can never win the game if you don’t play. Have faith, I know we will get this!!

Keep going !! It’s ok to fail just pick yourself back up. Take a break. You have to be mentally ready to take the NCLEX. I spent 2 months studying I used archer, uworld, simplenursing, and mark Klimek and passed on my 1st attempt . However, I didn’t do them everyday like everyone did. I take breaks during the week so I can rest my brain lol. I downloaded their apps so I can practice on the go. You have to really understand how to answer NCLEX style questions. What’s mostly important is finding ways to reduce your anxiety. Take a deep breath. I lot of people I knew tried rushing with the studying and keep failing to secure a job. I highly recommend not studying the day before to rest your mind. I had to take a nap 3 hrs prior to taking my exam. Best of luck to you ❤️
I think is different for everybody. I did 300 questions on ATI and read rationale a day to my Nclex, and I listened to Mark klimex at 2am on my exam day, and Nclex crusade till I walked in to my exam center at 1pm and I still pass on 75 questions. I will say critical thinking matters a lot on Nclex.
