I recently had gallbladder surgery and wanted to share what I eat. Certain foods make my stomach a bit upset such as coffee, spicy food, foods high in fat and oily foods. I am trying to incorporate intuitive eating, intermittent fasting and eating more wholesome foods when it comes to my personal diet. There is still so much information I am learning but I hope to share whatever I learn with you.

Just had my gallbladder removed and don’t know what to eat, so excited I found your channel!
So happy you’re here! Hope you’re recovering well! Do you feel better!? 🌺🌸♥️💕
My mom also have no gall bladder for decades. She eat anything she wants. But not too much. She's 71 years old now.. I'm watching this because I think I have a gallstones had attacks at night. Then I remember that my mom also had her gallbladder removed and eats like what normal people eat.. heheheheheheh she eats lechon kawali and sisig with us.
@@ananm.l9544 hi! I also eat everything in moderation but because I have no gallbladder certain foods make me use the restroom. When I had gallbladder attacks it felt like intense cramping burning in my upper abdomen area. Definitely go to your doctor and ask them if it’s your gallbladder, sometimes they rule it as acid reflux and forget to check the gallbladder so if you mention it they can take a look 💕
@@ananm.l9544 but also pay attention if she washes her food down with warm lemon water or apple cider vinegar , bc I’ve been asking around and people who removed their gallbladder drink warm lemon water daily to help dissolve the food they ate that day, let me know , FYI, follow beetboxhealth on ig for more gallbladder health, she’s gonna be pissed, I think I missed the gallbladder webinar😬
I am happy to come across your videos as well. I’m having my gallbladder remove next week Monday and I’m preparing myself for diet change. Thank you for your meal prep videos.

Recently had the surgery. This is a great help
Thank you for watching and hope you have a speedy and safe recovery 🥰
Be cautious with almond milk. Oat milk is healthier as it doesn’t run the high risk of creating kidney stones. Thanks for posting this video. It helps.
Thank you! I didn’t know about that I actually like it milk a lot better :)

Mrs. Roshi that looks really good.
Thank you 💕
@@roshianderson you're welcome.
Hello just found your channel couple days ago I just had my gallbladder removed surgery as well 2 weeks ago . I seeing what you eat a day and helping what to eat I still got that mentally to be careful what to eat because of gallbladder attack very painful had them alot when pregnant thinking was that way . I would like to hear updates after this long how u feel and do you fastfood or greasy foods and after this long how your body acts.
Tha me for the comment and I hope you’re feeling better! I can definitely make an update video! I have a few newer videos that show fast food and greasier food in them! I have to limit eating those types of foods just for overall health but I do have them sometimes :)
Great video 👍
Thank you 🤗🌺🌸♥️💕
I came across your channel after having my gallbladder removed almost two weeks ago. I know everyone is different. Broccoli really gave me my first post surgery run to the bathroom pain 😂 if you know what I mean haha
How are you doing now with what you eat? I’ve eat fairly healthy because I was also diagnosed with IBS a year ago and have a gluten sensitivity.
So happy I came across your channel! You’re videos are a lot of help in giving me an idea of what to eat and enjoy it.
Aww thank you! How has your recovery been? I do eat pretty healthy but this past weekend I had cake and brownies which surprisingly were fine but any type of coffee even decaf upsets my stomach and omg I had a Brazilian latte which has condensed milk in it and well now I know I shouldn’t have condensed milk 😬 lol I everyday I’m experimenting and learning more. I’ll make an updated what I eat in a day soon 💕 have a great day!
Could you please please give me the recipe for the chicken plate with broccoli you made!!! Looks sooo amazing!! I got my gallbladder removed last week and I want to start making healthy meals for myself!!
Hi! Yes of course and I wish you a safe and speedy recovery! I used ground chicken, onion, garlic, green beans and broccoli and for the spices I used the Trader Joe’s vegan chicken less seasoning, salt pepper and coconut aminos. You can use soy sauce too but I try to avoid using too much sodium. Hope that helps 🌸🌺♥️💕
@@roshianderson thank you so much!!! Yeah the first 3 days were kinda bad because my stomach would feel super sore and it hurt laying down or getting up by myself! But it's been a week & I feel way better now, I did a whole liquid diet last week and this week I'm going to start eating some things that I would make for myself before the surgery but obviously I'm not going to take in lots of fatty things or greasy things because I want to be healthy for my own self. So I'm excited to keep watching the videos & food videos you make since we can relate to the same thing lol! 💕😊 btw I subscribed to your channel!!
Aww thank you so much that is so sweet and I am so happy to have you here! I’m actually going to post a what I eat video on Friday and am thinking of posting those types of videos at least twice a week because there are so many people who have had gallbladder surgery and there aren’t enough resources! Oh my goodness I remember the soreness! I would keep a pillow half on my stomach and half on my side and that would help when I slept and would get up from my side then up because doing a full crunch to get up was too painful. Anywho hope you have a wonderful day! 🤗🌸🌺♥️💕
What seasonings did you use for the ground chicken?
Hi! I mainly use coconut aminos, and everyday seasoning. I believe I also added some chicken less seasoning as well but I don’t use that all the time
I had my gallbladder surgery just 2 weeks ago.. thought to check out what should I actually eat even if my hospital dietician has given a long list of dos and don'ts.
Aww hope you’re doing well and feeling better! It’s nice that the dietician gave you a list
I m your new subscriber
Hi! Welcome! Thank you for subscribing!
can I use ground ginger and turmeric instead of whole for the golden milk?
Omg I used ground ginger and turmeric all the time! ☺️
@@roshianderson great! thanks. do you have recipe for measurements of the ground seasonings?
@@CrunchyCleaningbyKathy I don’t unfortunately but I would use 1/2 the amount of turmeric va ground ginger so for example 1 tbsp of ground ginger and 1/2 tbsp of turmeric
My mom got that surgery (open gall bladder surgery).
Please suggest me some easy healthy diet, she's losing weight because she's afraid that any other may cause gas or pain........right now she's eating rusks and tea.
Please please please please please please help me.
I'm tensed.
Aww I’m sorry, definitely consult your doctor. When I first had my surgery I ate crackers and broth but slowly incorporated ground meats and toasts. Different types of soups may be a good start...
I miss peanut butter I can’t tolerate it well for years. After WLS really couldn’t have at all and now I’m probably won’t be able to have again
Aww man I love peanut butter too! I can eat it now without irritating my tummy so hopefully you will be able to eat peanut butter again!
Hello madam I want to ask you, after gallbladder surgery, which one protein is best whey protein or plant based protein
Hi! I personally only eat chicken and vegan protein and seafood sometimes. I avoid red meat because it has a lot of fat and upsets my stomach 😊
@@roshianderson thankyou
Hi sweet sis can we eat boiled eggs after gallbladder surgery
Hi! I ate boiled eggs about a month after my surgery! Hope you are feeling well 💕
@@roshianderson thank you sooo much for replying my beautiful sweet sis stay happy stay blessed❤💕❤
Just had mine removed 10/15 and I'm so confused what to eat 😭😭😭
Aww hope you’re doing ok, I started my first month off really easing back into foods mainly broth, crackers, soups with protein and veggies and toast. One of my doctors told me to eat low fat so I started buying low fat processed foods but you have to be careful with those because although they’re allow fat they’re loaded with sugar. So now I eat more low carb and Whole Foods 💕
Goona make them soon thank you
Enjoy 💕
انا حقاً خائفة من العملية ولا اعلم ماذا افعل هل سيكون هناك الم ام وكيف سأقوم بطهي طعامي هذا ما يقلقني
Just came back from hospital after removing my gallbladder.. so confused what to eat..
Aww how are you feeling? I had to ease into food, I started with broth, and crackers then slowly incorporated mashed potatoes and other easy to eat foods. Hope you have a speedy and safe recovery ♥️💕
For dinner, is beyond beef better?
So I cook the beyond and meatless options mainly for my husband and son because they are plant based but now I make a desperate dish for them using that and then I cook lean ground chicken or turkey for myself 🌺🌸♥️💕
What do they typically recommend for the gallbladder?
Hi! My doctors told me to have a low fat diet and to avid greasy foods after my gallbladder was removed but if you still have your gallbladder I’m not sure. I would definitely consult your doctor
@@roshianderson thank you! I’ve had gallbladder pain for awhile but notice it comes on more with higher fat foods. I appreciate you responding ☺️
@@denisebutkus3901 no worries! I hope you feel better and with me I remember spicy foods triggered my pain
@@roshianderson oh yes spicy has never been easy for me. Stay well my friend!
@@denisebutkus3901 wishing you love and happiness my friend ♥️🌸🌺💕
Didn't know much about the recipes
Butter ? You can have butter ? I can’t find fat free Mayo.
I did have low fat butter when I first started, just be careful with low fat products because some are high in sugar. For mayo I used veganaise but I think there are low fat mayos out there
@@roshianderson I saw Kraft fat free Mayo but it’s not at Walmart nor Amazon. But I’ll look at diff. Stores
I don’t see a recipe for the ground chicken
For my ground chicken recipes I used
Onion
Ground chicken
Green beans
Broccoli
I used coconut aminos and a little bit of the chicken less seasoning from Trader Joe’s but you can also use a pinch of turmeric.
@@roshianderson Thank you. Im Going to make it.
I had my gallbladder surgery 6 days ago can I eat chicken now?
Hi! Hope you’re feeling better! Always check with your doctor but my surgeon personally told me I could eat normally I should just to wait a couple days before eating normally again. I believe I started eating chicken after ~2 weeks
@@roshianderson thank u dear ❤️
@@nishisheikh3611 kya aap abhi non veg kha re ho..koi problem to nai???
I removed my gall bladder before 3 week.when you start meat after surgery... 😊
I think I started eating meat 2-3 weeks after my surgery
@@roshianderson any health issues?
@mahygreatfamily8853 I did get psoriasis but I feel like it’s because I took bile salts messed up my system I’m not sure if that was the cause but taking care of gut health is healthy
@@roshianderson thank you
I have trouble with almond milk due to the high fat content 😔
Have you tried low fat milk? Does it react well with your stomach?
@@roshianderson no milk for me but I can do oat milk. I was bummed about the almond milk though. But having no gallbladder is the best thing ever! It kinda forced me to eat better.
All of this is literally the opposite of what 4 doctors said and the internet. They say a bland diet after removal. So I'm shocked seeing this and others that just had surgery taking this as advice so soon after surgery
Hi, it’s been almost 2 years since my surgery. I have a video that lays out that I try different things to see how my body reacts. I also mention that I drank broth and crackers after my surgery until I felt comfortable incorporating “normal food” back into my diet. Also my surgeon told me I could eat anything without restrictions and to just see how my body reacts. Every single body is different I am just documenting my experience and have a disclaimer on my videos stating that I am not a medical professional and that this is just my experience.
